Ion Exacense (Pvt) Ltd — cheating by offering amc in the name of eureka forbes

Ion exacense pvt. Ltd, jayanagar, bangalore has cheated me. I received call from their customer service department (Phone no.[protected] stating that they are calling from eureka forbes and periodic service is due for aquaguard water filter installed at my home. Believing in them, i agree for technician visit. Technician named 'manju' visited my home on 26th jan 19 and after inspection advised to replace the cartridge. He advised me to go for two year amc as that will be cost effective. Before accepting the offer, i asked for the amc contract to go through the terms and conditions. Technician shared the amc contract which is issued in the brand name of "aquacare" and company name "ion exacense (Pvt) ltd. When i inquired with technician that amc is not issued by eureka forbes, he told me that they have franchisee of eureka forbes and connected me to their supervisor 'vinod' who also confirmed the same thing. After hearing them, i agreed to go ahead with 2 year amc and paid rs. 8, 530/- through paytm and technician issued amc contract to me bearing client id 38446 and receipt no. 11809 for two years from 26th jan 19 to 26th jan 21. On 1st feb 19 i read news in the 'times of india' bangalore edition regarding cheating case filled by eureka forbes with jayanagar police station against the company (Name not disclosed in the news) whose office is located at jayanagar, bangalore for cheating people by offering amc in the name of eureka forbes. Realizing that i am also cheated, i connected with technician 'manju' on his mobile no.[protected] and checked with him about the news. To my surprise he told me that they don't have the franchisee of eureka forbes. When i countered him for cheating and asking for refund of money, he asked me to connect with his supervisor 'vinod'. I connected with vinod on his mobile no. [protected] and asked him why he has confirmed me before issuing amc that they have franchisee for eureka forbes and issued amc. I told him that since i have opted for amc believing it to be issued by eureka forbes, i asked him to refund amount rs. 8, 530/- which i have paid. He asked me to write email to their accounts department (Id - [protected]@ionexacense.co.in) and confirmed that account department will respond by monday 4th feb 19 and will arrange to process the refund. Today i. E. 4th feb 19 since i did not receive any revert, i again called vinod to check when they will respond and told him that i may be prompted to initiate legal recourse in case my money is not repaid. To this he told me that he does not know about legal and accounts will respond. Meanwhile, i also forwarded the same email at customer care (Id - [protected]@ionexacense.co.in) but i am yet to hear back anything from them. I am trying to reach supervisor vinod but he is not answering my calls.in between when i removed the wrapper from the cartridges installed by technician manju, i observed that they are not genuine product issued by eureka forbes. As i am not interested in the amc offered by ion exacense and have opted under the belief that it is issued by eureka forbes, which is not the case, i hereby request for help in getting back my money.
