Irctc — Train route showing chennai central but halts at perambur

I have booked a return journey from chennai central to coimbatore and herewith sharing the details of my journey

The train no 12511 by name Rapti sagar express from Gorakphur to Trinvandrum via coimbatore

the train route showed that it will reach central

but lucky enough when i enquired about the arrival at central i was told that this train will not come to central and will be returned from perambur only

some how i managed to reach that station and catched that train

my concern is why the train route is showing mas central, if that train will not come to central why the hell the route has not been changed

please make sure that that these type of silly mistake can be avoided which will enhance the image of the govt
