I ordered an adidas shoe from germany on 09th october 2017 for my cousin brother and the tracking id for my order is rb[protected]de. The item reached kolkata through india post on 13th october with no status report. On 24th october 2017 the tracking status showed that the item has been retained by customs and awaiting presentation to customs commissioner. And since 30th october 2017 it is showing that the item has been retained by customs due to unspecific reason.
I tried all the provided contacts of kolkata india post for international packages but none of their provided number is working. I tried contacting kolkata customs through the number they provided in their website but got the same result. Number rings for 7-8 times and then the computer says check the number you have dialled. If they need any kind of documents to clear the item then they should call in the number provided in the package and let the owner know about the situation. I am very upset about it and wanna take strong action against such output from the customs. Kindly help.
