I have a bank account with Kotak mahindra bank which is a salary account opened by my current employer.
On 30th Jan 2018, there was a fraud which took place on my account and the money from it was withdrawn VIA ATM in New Delhi whereas I was in Mumbai and the cards were in my possession.
I complained this to police and Bank. Bank Blocked my debit channels and after submitting few forms I got the money back in my account.
However, bank is currently saying I won't be able to use it as they have put it on a hold (freeze) till their investigation is done. Which is incorrect as it is my funds and I need it immediately.
I also received an email from Kotak saying my case has been closed however, I am still unable to use the funds.
Please help me in this as I am terrified using banks anymore. Was this information helpful? |
