Sub : - Window A. C. of LG Company - Complaint of " no cooling " and " broken
display " box - purchsed in October 2007 - Complaining since February 2008 -
Non attendance of complaint - no replacement of defective piece.
Respected Sir / Madam
I have purchased Window AC model no. G2 DF 1 S. No. 03814 of LG Company from M/s Mayur Electronics Ghatkopar (E) near odeon, Mumbai 400075 on 19/10/07 vide invoice no. 2771. Since I am Senior citizen, and there was winter immediarely the A C was not put in action for about 3 months.
The use of AC was started in and after middle of February 2008. It was noticed that there is " no cooling " How ever it was tried three four times by varying temperature settings. Even at 16 degree C tempeature there was " no cooling " and I have to sleep with fan at full and A C was " ON " for whole night.
I complained to Mr. Mayur and Mr. Kamlesh M/s Mayur Electronics and he in turn to LG company. Some people came for servicing of A C. This was done twice. But the result was negetive. The summer started. I was unable to use A C. After repeated complaints the service persons from Sai Enterprises Ltd. LG electronics India Ltd. service division Mr. Rehan, Mr. Tushar, Sardarji, and others visited three to four times.
One Mr. Joseph from the same service division also visited and carried out some tests. He was confirmed that there is some defect in A C. Besides that he informed me that there are many more complaints for this model of AC. He was having list and papers of complaints of other purchasers of Garodianagar Ghatkopar (E) having the same complaints of " no cooling " He also informed that this model is defective. He informed that he would recommand for replacement of A C.
I have written the complain that " there is no cooling ", every time on the paper produced by every visitor for signature for having visited for complaints.
Later on in the month of May 2008 Mr. Methew of Service Division collected A C for inspection in their workshop. After couple of days he reinstalled AC in my house. It was gathered that he has checked gas leakages. I used AC on the same day, but the result was same i. e. " no cooling "
I phoned to Mr. Methew and he informed me that he would inform to LG company and ask for replaement of this defective piece. The entire summer I could not use AC., because fan was cooler then A C.
In the mean time I was moving from post to piller for rectifying the defect or replacement and also complaining to the distributor, M/s Mayur electronics.
After repeated phone calls to Mr. Methew and personal contacts with M/s Mayur Electronics, the A C was again taken to workshop. M/s Mayur Electronics later on informed that the compressor and broken display box are being replaced. Mr. Methew during one phone conversation informed that the A C woould replaced by new one since it is the purchase of the year 2007, but the compressor and broken display box will be replaced. The logic behind " not to replace the defective piece since it is purchase of year 2007 " is not understood and it is best known to L G Company. It can be interpreted that this product manufactured in the year 2007 must have the defect. Later on this defect might been noticed by them. But by that many pieces would been sold by the L G Company. Because Mr. Joseph was having the same complaint from some other purchasers also and he had come for carrying out tests. That is why company does not want replace the defective A. C. sold by them in the year 2007.
Till date i. e. till 13/09/2008 the complaint is unattended.
Last week company sent his person Mr. Mansur Aehamad for inspection. Now he says that this A C is for 100 SFT. area of room, and asked me what is area of my room I said it is 108 sft. But I immediately asked him for 8 sft. more area there would "zero cooling " such that when A C was " ON " and set at 16 degree C I have to sleep without baniyan. I offered him to come and sleep in the room for the whole night with A C " ON " and ascertain the fact. This was told to previous visitors of the company also. But the complain is not attended.
It is my reading that the company wants to escape from the responsibility and pass the time till one year guarentee period passes. The dealer M/s Mayur electronics also have hands in gloves with LG company but uses sweet tongue with us and tells us to fight with the company and they would support me. This appeares to be game plan of Company and distributors.
I have framed in my mind the LG company is useless and cheating the consumers by supplying defective products. I recommand not to purchase any product of this company and also recommand to purchase AC or other electronic products from reputed distributors. LG has in their mind to take away hard earned money of the people / public and dump rejected or defective material to the houses.
" If LG people are reading this complaint I earnestly request you to please look into the matter and either reove the defect of the AC or replace the defective piece because me and my wife are senior citizen and we have purchased such branded AC first time in our life and we faced this. "

In this I would like to sight my personal experience for purchase in United states. I had purchased a set of nonstick utensils. When I opened the box at my residence, I found that oen piece was slightly bend. I went to the distributors after couple months and returned back the entire box without even mention of any defects. He immediately took back the material and refund the money back to me. I then mentioned the complaint and asked why such defective material was being supplied to consumer. He immediately expressed feelings of sorrow and asked for forgiving him for the troubles I faced for bring back the material. Not only that he offered 10 % special discount to me on any material / any amount that I would like to purchased on that day so as to compensate the gas I consumed for returning back the defective material since his shop was about more than half an hour from the house.
I kindly request you to give me justice and help me ingetting replaced defective A. C. piece from this thick skined L G Company.

Corrections. Please read as (b) in place of (a) written in the complain letter

Correction no 1:
(a)Mr. Methew during one phone conversation informed that the A C woould replaced by new one

Sir / Madam,
Referring to my above complaint dt. 13/09/08, I want to add as under. I have been following up with M/s Mayur Electronics, who was assuring that he would talk top officials of L G. To day on 16/09/08 at 1 - 40 P. M.
Mr. Kamlesh and Mr. Mayur from M/s Mayur Electronics informed that L G top level Manager told him that the location of A C requires to be changed. One more baseless argument.
Earlier they argued on area of room for which I told that for slightly more area would there be " zero cooling ? That too at 16 degree C. " To which they had no answer.
So now they have found out another location of A. C.. The A. C. purchased by me is window A. C. And window is provided in the same location for all the flats of building. Naturally window A. C. is to be placed in the window, wherever it is located. All the flat owners if they purchase window A. C. will have to locate A. C. there only.
Suppose if it take some time to get cooled the entire room due argued location, but how much ? At 16 dgree C the whole night and eventhen " Zero cooling "
This implies the L G company and the Distributor M/s Mayur Electronics are making lame arguments. They have strong desire to throw defective material on head of customers. Respected Sir / Madam why should not I be compensated by the L G Company and the Distributor M/s Mayur Electronics for supplying the defective piece A. C. and trying for proving it to be genuine piece, by paying me the compensation as under.
(1) To pay Rs. 10.00 lakh for mentally torturing me endlessly.
(2) To refund back the entire amount with 36 % interest and the expense made for fitting the A. C..
(3) To withdraw this model sold by the L G company from the market India and pay the even compensation to such purchasers in general public interest.
(4) To pay entire legel charges required to be incurred with 36 % interest.

Sir / Madam,

When Mr. Mansur Aehamad came to my house for inspection, I told him that i know couple of persons who had purchased 1 ton A. C. and have quite bigger area of room then mine, but they get very fine cooling and they set timer for 2 hours so that the A. C. gets automatically turned off and they do not need A. C. for the rest of the night. I told him to visit these places.
In this context Mr. Mansur Aehamad came to my house to day on 24/09/08 and requested me to take to such places. I took him to that place. He inspected and confirmed that the area of the room was substantially larger then my room. He also ascertained from the users about the cooling condition. He checked something with instrument brought by him. He told that the readings same at my place and this place. I told that I do not know what you are checking and what is the technicality. I only understand that I am not geeting " cooling ".
To which he immediately reacted, " I have already suggested earlier and now also that you go for 1.5 ton A. C. "
This itself means that there is some problem with A. C. and is better known to them ( means L G company and their persons who periodically visited my house ), but they do not want to agree to defect of the piece, and suggesting me to purchase 1.5 ton A. C. I told him that if company wants to upgrade my A. C. with no cost to me then I dont have objection.
But respected Sir / Madam, even after upgrading the A. C. with no cost to me, the company will have to pay the compensation mentioned above.
Please kindly help me in resolving the above issue.

i was about to buy this particular model LWA12G2 but i will not buy keeping in mind LG has given so much mental torture to mr. suresh virani senior citizen...best punishment for company

      I purchased 3 LG Air Con's ( 2 Window and 1 split) at the Times Exhibition at Bandra-Kurla complex Mumbai on 28th April 08. It's been a nighmare from the time I bought these LG products. The 1.5 ton window AC has never worked from the time it was installed. According to the LG service Engineer, one of the parts is faulty and hence needs to be replaced. How can a part be faulty of a new Air con? When I have paid for a new AC, I expected a working product and not the one with faulty
      part.Why should I accept a product with faulty part? Also the dealer delivered an incorrect product, instead of a 2 ton split AC, the dealer has sent 1 ton Ac and never bothered to replace it with 2 ton. Everytime we call, the dealer's Sales person has given different excuses. When I met the Sales person Mr Joseph who sold me the AC at the exhibition, he was very rude and arrogant. The experience of buying an LG product has been horrifying. The LG Branch office number[protected]/5 given to me by the LG service desk has never been answered. I tried the number
      for several days without success. I have also posted a complaint on the LG India website but haven't got any reply. I have lost trust in the LG products and services. I am shocked to see the attitude and the culture prevailing at LG India.

      LG/Air Conditioners — Servicing of AC quotes

      Last March, we have purchased 3 no's 1.5 Tr Split A/c"s From Tanmayee Electronics , Khairtabad, but till now not even a single service has been done. inspite of calling theree is no responnse from , pls look into it & do the needful.

      LG - Air Conditioners — Faulty product

      I purchased a LG 1.5 ton window AC of LG from Reliance Mart in Faridabad on 25 April 2009. As I was going to be out of town for some time I took delivery of the AC in mid-June and started using it thereafter.

      After about a week o[censored]sing the AC the cooling power failed. I called up the LG service and after a few days a person came and checked the piece. He said the AC's motor needed replacement and went back. I followed up with LG service a couple of times only to be arrogantly told that the company did not have spare motor to replace the faulty part immediately.

      Till date (18 July) no one from LG has come to replace the faulty motor. And why should a new AC's motor fail so quickly and so easily? Is this the kind of service standard that one is going to get from a company that claims to comply with international standards in manufacturing and supply management?

      i purchased lg split a/c from chennai anna nagar till one year it was in good condition after one year as warrenteed by the company then after some days it had a problem of water flowing from the inner unit i have complained many times to the lg service centre they came many time but the problem was not solved yet now and iam unbale to use my a/c bz of water flow from inner unit iam totally depressed from this isssue service is very very bad. till the warantee its work gud after that like an assembled piece unsatisfied by the service people of LG.

            Worst servicing from LG servicing center.
            my phone is hanged suddenly and i gave my phone in local servicing center in hyderabad.
            After 2 months they returned back my phone without fixing the problem.

              I have bought LG Plasma Tv 42PG61 from LG Shopiee(City Center, Kolkata) on 14th Sep, 2008 and still the TV set is not delivered (24th Sep, 2008). On calling the delear he says it will take another week as it is not yes send by LG.

              If LG will make such delays in delivering then surely it will lose it's customer.
              IF in Kolkata(Metropolitan city) this is happening i can figure out the state of other cities.

              LG/Plasma TV — TV Not delivered

              I am writing to you with a lot of disappointment and frustration over the purchase of my 50 inch plasma TV set .
              On 6th January I purchased a 50 Inch plasma TV (50PQ70) from the Mahavir Electronics & Furniture store in Pune. I was informed that the delivery of the set would be made the same day in the evening.
              However, On the same day I got a call from the dealer saying that the model is currently unavailable and that he would be sending a 42 inch plasma TV ( 42PQ70) as a temporary replacement and he also assured me that my original Plasma TV would arrive within the next two to three days .
              I called the dealer on 8th January again, this time he said that the Set is yet not available and he also declined to give me a date by which I could expect it to be delivered to me . I managed to get the phone number of the LG ASM, Mr Chavi Kumar Joshi. After having a word with him he informed me that this particular model is manufactured in Gurgaon and the shipment usually takes four to five days . He assured me that the set would be delivered on or before the 15th of January.
              I followed up with Mr Chavi Kumar Joshi again on 11th January and this time he gave me another date which was 21st of January . My frustration is that I have already paid for this set and have also renovated my house accordingly , On having shared this information with MR Joshi , he coolly shrugged of all responsibility by saying that “ I am sorry but this is your problem “ . I also informed him that the Set we are using is just a temporary replacement and expressed our concern over keeping it for such a long period of time . to which his response was “ this is an issue between you and the dealer “ .
              My concern is
              A – How can an ASM from your organization give a commitment to a customer who has bought a high end product and then not keep upto it
              B – There was complete and total lack of accountability reflected by your ASM in dealing with this situation, how can you ignore your customers and how can you expect me to have the courage to even think of buying another LG product.
              C – As of now I have been given different dates by different people, first the 15th of January & now the 21st of January. Is my money gone or can I expect it to be delivered to me on 21st or would I be calling him again to find out that it has been further postponed to next month.
              I need to understand whether I am dealing with a Multinational Organization or a local firm run by some incompetent babus. How can Mr. Joshi being an employee of LG have the audacity to tell me that it is not his problem to ensure that I get that product that I have already paid for.
              At this point in time I am very disturbed and concerned about having made an investment with LG, which is supposedly a global leader in the electronics market.
              Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get the product that I have already paid for .

                Sir, In my monitor, there is a continuous blinking. I want to know the fault of NO DISPLAY. Kindly send me the solution as soon as possible.
                I purchased a 17 inch black monitor (SXGA-700E), 1 pcs of your company on 10/09/2008for my home use from shop named by Technocrat Infotech pvt ltd(23, C.R.Avenue, kolkata-13).When I installed that monotor and put on the switch, saw the screen is not in propershape or as user friendly shape.Still now it is not in proper in shape.
                Though it was a new one, I didn't take the risk of shaping it with the help of switches that are in the fron side of the monitor.

                So, I made a call at your helpline and some one receive that and took my mobile number & sent me a message on 11th October, 4:27 pm, -"Your requesting id is N8CA1107880".and within a week you send an employee who was totally USELESS.

                Again I made a call to your service centre on that[protected], but no response from your side.

                Suddenly, on 06/02/2009, one LG employee called back me and said "Are you satisfied with our service " I answered no, when I said all the previous incidents relating to your goods and service employee, he again asked me about that person to whom your company sent my at place that" was he sitting at your place aminimum of half an hour ?", I answered no.He also told me within 48 hours we will send another EFFICIENT person at your place.
                Since then ther is no response from your side.
                Now my request is send an EFFICIENT Employee within 7 day counting from today, else I
                will compell to suit a claim to CONSUMER FORUM.

                    I work for an appliance repair business. I will tell you from personal experience it is a NIGHTMARE to get replacement parts for their machines. You can only get them strictly through LG, they have no parts catalogue and the customer service reps have no idea what the parts are. They have to fax me a copy of the machine diagram so I can tell them the diagram # just to get the part # so we can order it for a customer. It took us about 2 months to get this poor ladies washer fixed. I'm sure she paid about a grand for it, and it wasnt an old machine either. Good Luck!

                    LG Washing Machine — Service Centre is not responding

                    I have got some problem in my Washing Machine. I have already lodged the complaint four times with the customer care and every time they promised me for urgent attention. It is now three weeks already and not even a single service engineer has turned up yet.

                    I do not know, what to do now.
                    I puraches a washing machine in may 2006. now machine not working proper. many time i request to lg company but they not attend my complained. my first complaint requiest id n9c32105737 date 21.03.09.
                    and second requiest id n9c33000386 date 30.03.09. No Response till date.
                    I have had an equally pathetic experience with the servicing of my LG front load machine. I would discourage anybody thinking of buying an LG product from doing so on account of their terrible after-sales service. I have had no such complaints with Samsung, Whirlpool or IFB.

                    I placed a complaint with the LG call centre in April 09 and only after 3-4 calls to the call centre did a technician get in touch. He arrived to tell me that we needed to replace our PCB -- something that costed us nearly Rs 5000.

                    Within a month, the machine gives us the same IE error! I placed another call to the call centre (Complaint no -- S9C[protected] and requested that the technician arrive on a Sat, May 16th (3 days later) since I would be out of town. The technician calls me on Friday -- obviously I can not have the machine serviced then. On Sat, when I call the call centre to find out when the technician would arrive, I get to know that my complaint has been closed, so I was given a new complaint no -- S9C51600686!! After umpteen calls to their so-called supervisor, a technician arrived to tell me that another part needs replacement. When I questioned the servicing earlier, I was casually told by the supervisor that a part can give way anytime even half an hour after servicing. I was promised a stand-by machine in case my machine could not be repaired immediately. To add to it, the supervisor tried to sell me an AMC in the midst of all of this. I was promised that the technician would arrive with the part today, but I'm still waiting with a pile of clothes for washing.

                    Life's Good? Buy an LG product and realise that it surely WAS Good!

                    I wish to state that I have purchased a LG - TROMM FUZZY LOGIC Fully Automatic Washing Machine MODEL NO. WD80295NP from the LG Shoppee in Coimbatore as per the reference (1) cited above. We have used the Washing Machine for the past 4 ½ years in a very good condition and a satisfactory performance.

                    The Washing Machine developed a fault and I contacted the LG Service Centre at Coimbatore. The LG Service authorities inspected the WASHING MACHINE at our house and told that the Stainless Steel Washing Drum developed a cut and it has to be replaced.

                    They have taken the WASHING MACHINE to their service centre on 19.06.2009 and replaced the Stainless Washing Drum and sent back to our house on 22.06.2009, and charged Rs. 2542 and we paid the amount. We have found out that the replaced Stainless Drum was not a new one. It had dents and scratches. When we enquired the Service Centre (A.B. Electronics) authorities about the Washing Drum, they accepted that they have fitted Stainless Drum which was not a new one. They also told that at present new Stainless Steel Washing Drum was not in Stock. They have told that after receiving the supply of new Stainless Steel Washing Drum, they will fit it our Washing Machine. After few days, they brought a Stainless Steel Washing Drum to our house and fit it our Washing Machine.

                    In the mean time we have found out that the Washing Machine sent to our house was not originally ours. They have Changed the parts of the Machine both inside and outside. The Working, Functioning and Programming of the Washing Machine was not proper as like our Original Machine. The functioning of the Washing Machine is not Satisfactory.

                    We have asked the authorities, about the Change of the Machine. They simply ignore our complaints. Concerned to this we have sent a complaint letter in Registered Post to the Service Centre authority in Coimbatore. We are very confident that our ORIGINAL Washing Machine was Changed and the parts of the machine both inside and outside was also changed.

                    After several contacts, the authorities have inspected the Washing Machine and made no efforts to solve our problem.

                    Till now we have high regards with the LG Products. But the service authorities have Completely damaged our opinion. Hence in this connection we are complaining this matter to the HEAD QUARTERS of the company requesting to take necessary action to solve our problem and to deliver our original Washing Machine in GOOD CONDITION.

                    LG — Complaint not attended till 1 month

                    I filed a complaint for my washing machine on 3rd march. I was told that drum of machine is to be replaced. Till today i.e. 6th april it is not replaced as part is not available. I also have a a.m.c. with them. Every time i call at customer care they issue me a new complaint no. & cancel my earlier complaint. At service center most of the time phone is not answered or i have been told that they will call me in sometime to tell the status of my complaint but they never call back. I had naver seen such bad after sale service in my lifetime. Its not only washing machine for air conditioner also we are not even given 3 free services of 1st year which were promised.

                    I had taken LG Washing Machine in Nov 2007. Now I have shifted house and I have been trying to contact LG Customer Care for the re-installation and change of few parts destroyed. It was shocking to see that LG has executive like Satyaprakash etc who have no sense of talking to Customers. Immense attitude and insulting behaviour. There is no help or support from LG. There is no compliance department where one can lodge in a complaint in LG.
                    Is this what LG is all about? Horrible after sales service!!!

                    LG Washing Machine — Fraud done by local tech referred by Just Dial.

                    My washing machine was repair duirng May 10 and got a Number through JUST DIAL to correct the repair. Just dial had refered AR A1 SERVICES BANAGLORE along with other nos also. The technican came and said timer and board is lost and need a replacement. This was agrred after 10 days and the same was replaced on 16th June 10 after Rs.4250 is paid. Next day it was not working. on 17th June they came and taken away both the parts for replacment since the changed part is also at fault.

                    After that. thy have not turned till date inspite of various calls. I have sent a representative to the address givn, we came to know , the COMPANY IS NOT THERE.

                    Washing Machine — Non arrival of the product after payment

                    I had purchased a washing machine in April 1998, model Executive which had started giving problems.Mr. Rajkumar Parmar who used to visit my place for the redressal of complaints regarding the machine suggested that I buy a new machine model Elina Dx in exchange for the old machine and an additional amount of Rs 16500.The payment was made by me through Cheque No 058924 drawn in favour of IFB industries dated 14.07.2010 and I was promised that the machine would be delivered to me by 19/20.07.2010.
                    The cheque was encashed on 16.07.2010 and I am yet to receivte the machine.
                    I tried to contact Mr. Parmar on the phone no.given to me by him i.e.[protected] a couple of times but either the phone is not picked up or picked up by some other person pretending to be ignorant of the deal.
                    In case an urgent expeditation of the matter is not done I will be left with no remwdy but to approach the Police department for action.

                    I bought a front loading LG DD machine in mid June 2010. It has given me faults since last 2 months/. The first time i lodged a complaint a guy came checked it and said nothing wrong. Now it has stopped working completely. I have lodged a second complaint on 11th December 2010. Despute their 24 hours reply policy "NO ONE" has bothered to call up so far despite reminders everyday.                     Sir you are given Order to Service centre for taking care customers compliant, but service centre asking for complaint 10 customers, I can wait for 1 or 2 years for requiring another 10 customers .
                    This is very shame of the LG product management. In present In India verygood market for only LG, whirpool, Samsung, Videocon, Godrej is follow on.

                    Kindly notethat if customer complaint you cannot solve timely, your business is going to last place. You know that customer can develop your product or destroy your product also.

                    We buy LG fully automatic washing machine model - HN 7512 @ 3 yrs before. Recently it was giving problem, some noice started coming during spinning. We contacted customer care. They gave no. RNA[protected]. Service engineer from Dhruv Marketing (Ahmedabad) came to my home and says that gear box is gone off and they have to take it to their workshop, the cost of service will be Rs. @2200/- to 3200/-. I was very upset with the price as cost of m/c was Rs. 14, 000/- when I bought (3 yrs back) and now they are charging @3000/- only for gear box service. Even it's on high in cost, I told DHRUV people to serviced it. They took and return after 3 days. They changed only 2 nos. v-belts and charged Rs. 2800/-
                    Not only that, they changed my SS drum and fit old corroded one. When we asked for it, they replied - it's a colour during service and it will gone off. They have suppose to clean it before delivered. and what chemical they used to make drum so dirty? I AM SURE THAT THEY CHANGED MY DRUM, CHARGED HEAVELY FOR CHANGING 2 NOS. V-BELTS. Cost not more than 250/-

                    LG Washing Machine — Customer care not responding - no service

                    I am having hard time getting someone from LG to visit my place for service. Our washing machine just ran out of warranty and also stopped working! Sounds like pre-programmed!

                    Anyway, the issue I am having is to get someone from LG to look into what has happened! Everytime I call customer care I get a brand new request number and an even futuristic date!

                    Exercise caution while you buy LG!
                    I purchased fully automatic LG washing machine (6.5 Kg WF-T7519QL) from Croma, South Extn, Part 2 on 5/2/12. Sealed & packed Machine was delivered without having inlet and outlet pipes. Even after 10-12 days no effective action has been taken for installation of the machine from either LG service center or Croma. On 13/2/12 somebody from LG service center mentioned that my phone was switched off, that I never do. I called on 17/2/12 at around 6:15 PM to LG customer care No. [protected] for registering my complaints. Unfortunately the person who attended my call at that time refused to register my complaints, then I asked his name and he disconnected my call. After that I tried to call him every-time he picked up receiver and disconnected. So I am in miserable condition and getting a lot of harassment from both shopping center as well as LG service center.

                      I had purchased LG TFT Model no. L1730S, Serial no.607NLTR019497 on 12/10/2006.
                      Now i m faciing some problem in its display i.e a vertical line inside the TFT Display.

                      As My TFT is in warranty, i complaint at LG center Hisar but they haven't solve this yet.

                      They told me that they had forwarded this complaint to LG center Delhi but they havn't received that part of TFT, So they can't solve my problem.

                      I request you kindly send that TFT part to LG center Hisar which is required to solve this display problem as soon as possible .

                        I bought a L.G.Music System model no. V530. on31.8.2005 FROM SAINI ELECTRONICS Delhi-110009.for Rs.9200(vat included). The system was faulty and was taken to service center for repair even during the warranty period twice.Then again when the warranty period was over it was repaired which costed me Rs1450.After few days again one or the other function demanded repair.Now the engineer Isays that its MPG card, TDM, Mirro Switch, CDM Assembly needs to be changed which costs around Rs4, 000- Rs4, 500. I bought the system for Rs 9, 200 and now its repair is costing me 6, 000 the company should answer that does it make any sense to get it repaired or Ihave committed any crime in buying a L.G.product for which I am being punished or suffering.

                        I agree with this complaint as we are also sailing in the same boat. Our 4 year old LG music system was giving problem. Only DVD player was not working. When we made complaint in March-08, one of their service engineer took it to their workshop at PEERAGARI for repairing and reported that lens is damaged. Estimation given by him for repair was only Rs.2500/-.we gave him the permission to repair it. After several reminders they returned the system with damaging the whole system. They informed that their workshop is shifting from present location to another which they themselves didn’t know. They told that the workshop will attend it and they will collect the system from the residence. Again after several reminders it was taken to new workshop with complaint no. NBC71802674 dated 18-7-08. They collected the system on 7-8-2008 in HI END SOLUTIONS(Auhorised Service Centre) B-7/7, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi-110027, with repeated reminders and told the estimation around 3000/-. Now again when we asked them the progress of our music system, they gave us the new complaint no. N8C82305036 dated 23-8-08 and nobody was in a position for proper reply. When we told them that we will go to complaint in consumer court then immediately they called back and told that if you are ready to pay 5000/- Rs the system is ready with us. Now we request to kindly look after the matter on priority and keep your commitment.

                          The oven is unserviceable since the past 4 days for which the complaint was lodged on 17 Sep 08 vide id S8C91701263. After repeated follow ups on phone on[protected] it was informed (by the lady attending the phone) that Mr. Bhupathy has been deputed for the task; who will visit my residience on 17 Sep 08 itself. Inspite of continuous liaison calls even with Mr. Bhupathy, his visit is yet to materialise. The sad part is that "always it was informed that the rep of the company will visit the same day - which forced us to make ourself available at home for the past 3 days".
                          I feel the customer service needs to improve by two ways.
                          (1) Customer should be informed of the actual plans, which should be stuck to; else he should be intimated in advance of the change of plans of the technician's visit.
                          (2) Complaints should be attended latest by the next day (from the day of lodging of complaints)...so that subsequent requirements can also be met on following days.

                          Worse that the attitude and language of the Customer service personnel and Mr. Bhupathy in particular went bad to worse.

                            I bought an AIR-CONDITIONER of your company from Rathna Fan House, Pondy Bazaar, Chennai on April 12th, 2008 at the cost of Rs. 24000. It was installed on April 14th, 2008. On 15th April 2008, I raised a complaint (Complaint #[protected] to the Service Engineer (who installed LG Air conditioner in my residence) regarding some noise in the indoor unit of the LG Air conditioner. But the Service Engineers of the LG Electronics (I) Pvt Ltd, AA11, 2nd Avenue, Fathima Towers, Anna Nagar West, Chennai - 40, visited us regarding the complaint after a month and said to replace the indoor unit for a better one. We got the replacement indoor Unit on May 23rd, 2008 and it was installed on June 3rd, 2008. After this replacement also, my problem of the noise in the indoor unit is not yet rectified. I am facing the same problem with the replacement piece of the unit also. I have called the Service Engineers of the LG Electronics (I) Pvt Ltd, AA11, 2nd Avenue, Fathima Towers, Anna Nagar West, Chennai - 40 again to look into the problem yet..But nobody have responded for the complaint till date.

                            LG Electronics — Indoor Unit not replaced

                            We had purchansed an AC (1 ton Split) from Next Electronics, Palm beach, Vashi branch on 10th May. After installing the same when we started using it, it showing vague noice from Indoor unit itself!
                            Hence, we had called their mechanic to rectify the problem, he told to replace the unit to manager of that Next shop. But till now even after 3 days, we havn't recived their feed back.!

                            We are waiting for newer unit replacement soon.

                            I bought an AIR-CONDITIONER of your company from Rathna Fan House, Pondy Bazaar, Chennai on April 12th, 2008 at the cost of Rs. 24000. It was installed on April 14th, 2008. On 15th April 2008, I raised a complaint (Complaint #[protected] to the Service Engineer (who installed LG Air conditioner in my residence) regarding some noise in the indoor unit of the LG Air conditioner. But the Service Engineers of the LG Electronics (I) Pvt Ltd, AA11, 2nd Avenue, Fathima Towers, Anna Nagar West, Chennai - 40, visited us regarding the complaint after a month and said to replace the indoor unit for a better one. We got the replacement indoor Unit on May 23rd, 2008 and it was installed on June 3rd, 2008. After this replacement also, my problem of the noise in the indoor unit is not yet rectified. I am facing the same problem with the replacement piece of the unit also. I have called the Service Engineers of the LG Electronics (I) Pvt Ltd, AA11, 2nd Avenue, Fathima Towers, Anna Nagar West, Chennai - 40 again to look into the problem yet..But nobody have responded for the complaint till date.

                            I bought one split 1.5 ton A/c during April2008 and I want to avail the free service offered by them. I called the service people once and again after a week for which they have allotted This is Vaikunth from Chennai Nungambakkam. S8CA2803984 and SBCB0306169. Still there is no action on my registration. Further I send a mail to the engineers who have installed the machine. On the advise given by them I contacted DK Engineering and made a request to send their service engineers for service. Again I contacted them on 13th Nov 2008 morning for that they are sending an engineer with in 2 hours. Again I contacted them in the evening for that the engineer will reach my residence with in half an hour. There was no reply from them and even they are not responsible for fixc up an appointment for service. The whole day I was waiting for the service people and the result is zero.

                            I purchased an LG AC from Viveks Tambaram, on 19.05.06. after installation, no one bothered to respond to my calls to carry out the three free services. however some time in Sep 2007, Viveks' representative approached us with promise of prompt services if we took up an AMC with them and persuaded us so much that we paid the charges.
                            After collecting the AMC charges no one visited us for service till about Jan 2008, but after a lot of follow up and phone calls a person reported to us in Feb 2008. he gave us the report that gas has leaked out we have to pay for filling up. I asked them whether it is not included in the AMC they said you have taken AMC of a lesser plan which does not include gas. finally we were forced to pay through our nose for the gas.
                            Last week the remote control failed to work -Viveks was called they came took the remote control away and after 9 days they are informing that it is not working- you have to purchase a new one. I ask them the cost of the new one - the supervisor fellow said "I'll call you back in 10 minutes" I waited for half an hour but no call - I had to call back and get the information from them.
                            This is worst kind of service I have seen in any marketing company -please do respond to this correspondence.
                            Its a pathetic message about the Multinational company.Marketing the product is not mean for giving the explanation in the media, Its for giving the feedback from the customer.

                            I have purchased a LG 1.5 ton split AC from Vivek's - Adyar yesterday. The response time for installation was quick and had it installed on the same day. But, when i switched on the AC to get relief from this Scorching chennai weather, even though cooling seems to ok, it does produce a bit of sound, as though it's running a grinding machine. Don't know if LG is know for its "SOUND" products!! Hope, i will have to call LG customer care and run behind them to get this resolved!

                            My family was buying from Annamalai, Tiruvanmiyur, Chennai and they guarantee for service of the products they sell. If I can have a bit freedom, i can say.. "You can take hold of their collar to get things done".
                            They encourage only the products, for which service is good. For e.g Kenstar, which is highly valued Micro wave oven, is not sold here, due to their worst service.

                            I have an LG Vacuum Cleaner in which the small plastic clip holding the dust bag was broken. I made a complaint with the Call Centre on April 27 (2009) and I was promised that the repair will be carried out in 24 hours.

                            Till May 2nd, none has turned up to attend to the repair in spite of my following up everyday and calling the service centre as well as the Call centre.

                            It is a pathetic state of affairs. I do not think I will buy another LG product again on the face of such deplorable attitude to customers

                            Please dont buy LG Airconditioner in Rathna Fan House, the service is really poor, even I have the similar experience of replacing the out door unit with in a first week as there was a leakage in gas and later found problem to be in indoor unit and that too got replaced. Imagine how many calls I have to make it to happen these process.
                            I too have the same complaint. When my refrigrator got some complaint, I had contacted the toll free number and the complaint was not attended properly and the complaint was repeated. Then on 4-5-09, I have given a complaint in the toll free number and even on 11-05-09, the same was not been attended. Such irresponsible approach to the customers will drastically reduce the confidence on LG products and the company
                            Please dont by LG AC, Since the serivice is very very poor. My AC sensor is out of order and i have registered my compliant on[protected] and as on today no body turned up even repeated follow up there is no repose.
                            Even I have a bitter experience.

                            I gave my reliance mobile (LGRD2670) for service on 23.05.09. I told them clearely that the mobile fell into the water and then only gave it for service.

                            The mobile was accepted for servicing via receipt no. R[protected]. During the time of acceptence they clearely mentioned that if the board is damaged then we will replace at a cost of Rs. 440/- or else it will cost Rs. 208/- only.

                            By Friday they called me and said that the mobile cannot be serviced. I asked them what is the reason and they said that it cannot be serviced and asked to come and collect the same.

                            When I went on Saturday 30.05.09 to collect the mobile by paying Rs.55/- as estimate charge, I enquired the person who was there the reason for not servicing the phone.

                            He said that the boards can be changed for the mobiles that hasn't been fallen in the water and those mobiles which are not given to other service people other than LG authorised showrooms only will get the benfit of Rs440/- replacement board else the charge for changing the board will be Rs. 1500/-. When this was asked to explain the guy and the girl were rude defining the same. Is this the way you treat customers?

                            I have a simple question why this was noit mentioned below. Is there a rule comming up now then with LG Service centers so that the people who work there aren't aware of or is that a deliberate negligence.

                            If you are aware and know the truth from the customer do tell the customer first time itself. do not make them to run around.

                            I always recomend LG products to my friends and relatives and I do admire them.

                            But the wayt hese people treated gave me a bad impression on the total LG product.

                            PROBLEM-1: I bought an LG Washing machine from Jayam & Co Annanager branch, Chennai on July-2nd. When I met my friend the same day evening, he informed me that he was taken for a ride after he was delivered a damaged item by Jayam & Co. I pro actively called Jayam & Co to deliver a brand new and good quality Washing machine.

                            Item was delivered after 2 days. When the LG service man came to demo this item, we were badly surprised to see that James & Co delivered a damaged Washing Machine. The LG service man informed us to ask Jayam & Co to replace this one as it was just delivered.

                            When ever I call Jayam & Co, they promise me to get me the replacement unit within 2-4 days. It is now July-13th, 11 days over and nothing tangiable happened. I almost decided to trigger legal action and informed Jayam & Co about this.

                            Finally a service person from LG called me and informed that I could start using the damaged Washing machine until the new one comes in next one week later!!! He also promised to send me an email to share the confirmation replacement number and a person would come to my house to install the damaged Washing machine. BOTH did not happen until this message is being typed out at 8.33pm on 13/Jul/2009.

                            PROBLEM-2: The same invoice has an LG Microwave oven. It is NOT yet delivered to me even after 11 days of my 100% Cash payment.

                            May I request tha concerned people in LG do the needful to avoid such incidents in future and avoid unwanted stress to its customer.

                            LG Electronics — LG Customer support? or a way of making money ?

                            I bought a double door LG refrigerator on 11/3/2008. Immediately after purchasing it the product had a gas leak, there was a leak in transportation i was told and it was fixed by LG, then again after 1 year in April 09 it developed the same problem and i had to pay Rs 957 to get it fixed, now in July after 3 months it developed another problem and i was told it will cost me Rs 700 to get it fixed, after this also i am told that another sensor is weak and it will fail in some time. And the customer support executive comes up with a plan of Rs 2647 as guarantee for 4 years.

                            I feel flabbergasted with LG's attitude and their support, selling defective pieces and then continously suck the customer for support seems to be a brand new BUSINESS STRATEGY innovated by LG.

                            Why should i pay for their defective item, it should be responsibility of LG to ensure quality when seeling products world wide.I feel totally disspointed and dissatisfied.

                            On top of all this i get calls from them seeking feedback, what is the point in taking feedback when you are not serious about it ? Why do e mere eyewash for completing formalities ?

                            I would like to pass on this message for others to be careful and forewarned about LG.

                            i bought LG Top load washing machine in the year 2005. that time i was in bangalore . there after i shifted to chennai in the year 2007 the water in the chennai is too salty may be because of that my washing machine started giving me problem. i was in adyar area that time during 2007 there service person gave immediate service took the machine did acid wash gave back the machine in 4days of time my machine started working normally. now we are in annanagar there the water is no so salty but still machine spinning is not working door inthe top lost its magnetic power and from past one week i am calling customer care for the service no one turned back . really we so depressed water in the washing machine cannot be taken out that is smilling like a dead rat. so please any one sujjest me what we can do with this product now .
                            I recently bought a LG 42 inch plasma TV from Tesco. Just after the warranty period ended there appeared a washer inside the display screen hanging from top and obstructing the picture.
                            Contacted LG customer centre who said that I need to pay for repair.
                            It is true that LG are selling defective pieces and then continuously suck the customer for support which seems to be a brand new BUSINESS STRATEGY innovated by LG.
                            In my experience LG goods are not at all quality ones.

                            I have a problem with my LG color Television. I called to customer care and register complaint.but no response. After 36 days (Includes Three complaint and eight reminders) one service man came and taken Power control Board to service center and he back after Elevn days but the problem was not rectified. I dont know what type of service they are giving to customers. In metro like chennai itself they are doing this much great service means think about rural. LG having customer care only for just cheat the customer by saying that we are having customer care to give service. But 100% useless. I am suggesting LG Customers if you have any problem with LG product dont call LG Customer Care Instead of spending money to call them you can do BETTER service outside.

                            LG India Chennai was requested for servicing Two split type airconditioners @ Rs.440 inclusive of tax for each A/C.in my residence.
                            04TH Mar 2010,Two mechanics with LG ID Card and uniform came to my house to service the A/C.
                            I had to provide ladder,soap and water for servicing.
                            Upon completion of the job the mechanic collected Rs.880 and NO receipt was given.
                            A complaint to LG toll free no[protected] was given.and customer non satisfactory SMS message sent to LG 5757554.

                            NO Reply from LG so far.As a consumer am I eligible for receipt for the money I paid and the proof that they did a service?

                            LG products are sub standard and does not have any after sales service support.

                            I am having a 1.5 T Room A C and is suffering for the last 3 years. Unit stopped working the next day it was installed then its remote stopped working. If you raise a complaint it will take at least a month for the call to be attended.
                            Worst experience was yet to come.One of their service team named G.S.Engineering at Mogappair run by one Mr.Ganapathi said "NO TAMIL NO SERVICE" - discriminating that I do not speak tamil and hence he will not give any service. I had raised this discrimination even with LG's Regional Manager at Chennai, but no one responded.
                            Even now I have raised a complaint for service and gas filling and waiting for the last one month for it to be attended. The service centre office is just 1.5 KMS from where I stay !!!
                            I brought LG Ac 1.5 tonne last year April 14 2009, I have a issue with my issue as of now, The PCB board in the AC is not working so one of the technician came to our home after 3 days after making repeated calls and then took those parts to the service centere and said it would be fixed within 48 hours. After 48 hours we did made callback no response yet, The Customer Service agent who are poor guys kept on apologizing to us. They do have access only to apologize. However after making few calls one of the kind rep conferenced the call with one of the tech. He did said the issue would take one week more . And moreover iam not sure whether it would be fixed in 1 week more time since VIVEKS has brand name in giving False Commitment. I plead the VIVEKS management to look in to this issue and get it fixed for us.
                            Within 8 months from the date of purchase my LG 1.5 ton Split AC was down.

                            I called the call center, i was told i will get a call from service engineer within 24 hrs and my complaint will be resolved
                            within 24 hrs from there (which means 48 hrs from the time i made complaint).

                            No call, no engineer for the next 2 days. I again called the call center for details, but they dont have any information to provide me. I again reiterated the problem and ask them to make it fast.

                            Nothing for the next 2 days. Again i called the call center, they gave the number of local Service center (A third party service contractor) and ask me to contact the local service center.

                            When i contacted them they send me a service engineer the next day and it seems he dont know much about the AC. He did some thing and the AC started working.

                            The very same evening electric spark started to come out of my AC.

                            I again made a complaint and after 5 days ( with daily chase up) a service engineer attended the complaint and said everything is fine.

                            But, after 3 days burning smell stated to come out of my AC. I again made a complaint, but no response for the next 2 days.

                            Still the problem is continuing.

                            The service engineer told me that LG is not paying the 3rd party service center properly, that’s why the service is not up to the mark.

                            But the ultimate looser is the customers.

                            PLEASE DONT BUY LG AC. THE SERVICE IS WORST IN THE WORLD.

                            On last Friday [ 2-apr-2010] we booked Voltas-Goldi, a split Ac from Viveks, Tamabaram with the promise that they will deliver positively by Sunday [4-apr-2010]. The details are as follow:

                            But till now[Monday 5pm] there is no response form them. We called several times to them just to hear many different cooked stories like:
                            1. Sir, we wing.ere expecting the load by Saturday night, it got delayed. But do not worry, it will get delivered by Monday Morn
                            Again on Monday morning we enquired and got to know following 'on the fly' excuses
                            2. Sir, its already dispatched, it will be coming with in 1 hr
                            3. Yes sir, there is some problem in vehicle, we will be coming by 4pm .

                            When we insisted and started in tough tone, THEN ONLY the true picture came:
                            It seems the particular brand[Goldi] itself was out of stock from all the places and from the factory itself there was no supply.
                            It also indicates that Viveks, Tamabaram was knowing this fact, then also they booked the order.

                            This is very shame on them as we needed it urgently and in fact we had already mentioned several time to them. Just to grab the order, they have given us so much false promises and in turn given mental tension.
                            I feel, its NOT worth shopping there or believing in their words. I am disappointed.

                            I bought a AC from Meenakshi Fan House Madurai last Aug 2009. It's hardly 7, 8 months, The form which is being used to cover up the copper tube was so very sub standard quality, the form is not there and the tubes are very much exposed to the sun light. I have been following with the local guy to re-do it, they are not bothered at all.

                            I too have a very bad experience with LG split ac.2T From the day I purchased 7.3.2010 from Next retail Ltd valasaravakkam. am having problerm in the cooling efficiency. I was asked to change the stabliser to 5kv double booster and i was tossed from place to place for this even though i paid the extra cost.Now again am hving the same problem and I hv given a complaint ref no. C-[protected] today but the service dept of LG is trying to trouble shoot the problem over the phone by asking questions for which we have no clue on what he is asking. No one is interested in addressing the problem. All calls land in call centre and they are helpless or they hv no answers. I will never recommend this brand for sure.                             LG Electronics — Leaking Air Conditioner

                            One LG Split Air Conditioner has been leaking water since 15th May'2010. I lodged a complaint with LG Customercare on 27th May'2010,No. : C[protected]. One technician visited my residence on 29th May & charged gas into the compressor & claimed it will solve the problem. However the problem hasn't been resolved & is persisting. I have again lodged a complaint with LG Customercare on 2nd June No. : C [protected]. After many followups & repeated assurances by LG Service In charge in Gurgaon Mr. Manjay Kumar nobody visited my residence to resolve the issue till 10pm on 3rd June'2010. This is shocking for a consumer from a reputed company like LG. I will advise everybody to be beware of purchasing this brand given its lack of reliable after sales service.
                            I HAVE BOUGHT A LG WINDOW AC, AND GIVEN THE COMPLAINT, SINCE NOBODY HAS TURNED UP FOR INSTALLATION EVEN, THEN REGISTERED A COMPLAINT, COMPLAINT No-C[protected], STILL NOBODY HAS TURNED UP.

                            I made a terrible BLUNDER by buying this product...
                            I have been having a very worst experience with LG.
                            I purchased the AC on March 29 from Rathna Fan house, chennai and I’ve been having problem since then.
                            It took 3 days for the guys to fix the AC. Mechanic came with out tools. Came late one day and said there is no sun light and the other day I had to be at home on LOP and got it fixed.
                            The water is leaking from the AC from the very next day the people have installed it. I’ve been calling the LG customer care and asking them to come see what the problem is. But the mechanic came only after 15 days from the day I complained.

                            The guy who came to see did not solve the issue but said it’s fixed. The water still continued to flow.

                            I again called the customer care and they sent the mechanic after another 15 days. The Mechanic who came to solve issue said it is a slope problem and the guys who installed the AC will come and fix it.

                            The guy who installed came back and damaged the AC very much trying to change the increase the slope height. Within one hour of his visit the AC still was leaking and it became worse.

                            I called the in charge Mr. Manikandan, and told him its still leaking and he sent another senior who said that the AC will be replaced.

                            Its been almost 15 days now, still the AC is not been replaced. I got the New AC machine in my hall for the PAST one week. I’ve been calling the mechanic and calling him every day, but he seems to be very busy and has never sent any mechanic.

                            The worst part is, all the staffs in LG and Rathna Fan house has been just giving the no.s of different person asking us to call and follow up.

                            At last I’ve been having the AC at home for the past 2.5 months without working and I am still paying my EMI.

                            LG has not cared to call me back till date.

                            We took a LG Air Conditioner 1.5 MT in March 2010 from the super "DUPER" - Vivek's.

                            i am also a victim of bad service and product from LG. I purchased a 32 inch LCD 80FR about 18 months ago and have a problem with the on off. Sometimes the TV DOESNOT GET ON AND THE BLUE LIGHT KEEPS FLICKERING.

                            The service guys have come 4 times till date and they go back saying we will get an expert .PATHETIC.

I called and a woman with a machine-like accent told me LG technicians would get in touch with me immediately. When i asked her she started giving meaningless details and when I was asked to connect the call to senior Officer, The call was put on hold and last for UNBELIEVABLE 29 Minutes, While waiting and listening to your company tune I called up in my second line at 10:46 (Call 2) which went to recorded voice and put on the same music, Again I tried the same number at ( call 3), in which your executive said he will transfer the call and disconnected it.An finally in the call that was in hold/conference(CALL !) one executive came to line and said some 1 ( I still don't know who that some 1 is/will be), as usual NOTHING HAPPENED.

                            I am tired of giving all details, and the recent call of the Day to customer care( 12:59 hour) last for 9 minutes and 50 seconds, during which MR.STALIN, your executive said he will talk to the concerned agency and get this sorted WITHIN 15 minutes and IF THE AGENCY DID NOT CALL ME HE WILL IMMEDIATELY INITIATE SEVERE ACTION AGAINST THEM and he will also update me on this within 15 minutes and insisted me to trust him, which I did. And NOTHING HAPPENED TILL 17:30 hours, that is for 4 and half hours.

                            The total duration of calls TODAY is 61 MINUTES, THAT IS ONE HOUR AND ONE MINUTES.

                            NOW I INSIST YOUR COMPANY TO JUSTIFY WHY I SHOULD NOT INITIATE ACTION AGAINST LG FOR POOR SERVICE IN CONSUMER COURT. IF THE MAIL IS NOT GIVEN WRITTEN REPLY WITHIN 24 HOURS, COMPLAINT WILL BE FILED AGAINST LG .

                            Thank you for sending your Service Engineer. And thats the only thing happend from the time I made my complaint.

                            1.Service Engineer came at 3:30 pm on 7/12/10 after great effort. And after starting service he called another person, as he was not able to sort/diagnose the fault. Then he took the electronic circuit board, without issuing any copy of service report, saying someone from their office will call from their office to tell the estimate. And till 9/12/10 9:55 hrs nobody called up.
                            2. I had a call from your service centre( Phone No:[protected] and the call was a response to the mail sent on 7/12/10. I brefed the person on the Incompetant and arrogant behavior of Mr. Murugan, the servise engineer and about the response I am yet to receive from your service centre. The executive said he will get back to me in 30 minutes, and I am still waiting for that 30 minutes to pass, and get a call.

                            3. I called your number[protected], and the executive attended wanted me to call again after 10 minutes, as the server was down.

                            4. Then I called this number again, nobody picked up.

                            5. Deaperate to know about the status, I called up Mr. Murugan again, as I dont have his office number, who said he is IC is not available at their stock, and he MAY get it ready by Saturday (11/12/10), and asked about clear date of completion he wanted me to talk to One mr.raj at their office on this.

                            6. I called Mr.raj ( No:[protected]) saaid he will check the status and call me in 10 minutes. And he should be appreciated, for he is the only one to call again as comitted. After calling, he said the ic MAY come on 11/12/10 and IF it comes they will ompleter the repair on the same day.

                            AFTER 6 CALLS( 4 OUT GOING AND 2 INCOMING) I STILL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST, WHAT IS THE COMPONENT THEY ARE GOING TO REPLACE, AND WHEN THEY WILL COMPLETE THE REPAIR. MOREOVER I DONT HAVE ANY DOCUMENT ON THE PART( BOARD) TAKEN FROM MY TV.

                            I have made another mistake by buying a LG Washing machine recently, Iam assured, with the fool proof system (for saving your brand) a complaint about a person / system leading me to the same person(Engineer Murugan and their office), your Life is Good, but the customer's Life is Grief .

                            1.Your executive, on receiving my call said, the complaint no. will be sent to my mobile within 3 hrs from the time of my call ( The call lasted for more than 6 minutes).

                            2. Then I was made to call up thrice, from 3:24 pm to 3:47 pm to as my call was on your recorded message and nobody bothered to attend. finally your executive gave a long number as reference and said that he is placing URGENT request to servise centre. NOTHING HAPPENED.

                            3. I waited till 2;00 pm today and, when I called up as usual the call was put on hold and my call was answerd, and after asking all questions, your executive said, HE IS PLACING AS URGENT REQUEST. I WONDER WHAT THIS URGENT MEAN, WHEN I TOOK 1 FULL DAY AND WAITING FOR YOUR PEOPLE TO COME. Do you think you can behave in the same way in US /European markets? Have you specialised your services for India, as we are genourous enough to buy your products?

                            And to my suroprise, your executive GENOROUSLY offered me another number to call for . Am I running a call centre for you?

                            I see this as a issue with your system as well as your executives

                            If my complaint is not addressed properly, I may be forced to take legal action.

                            Totally agree. The after sales services is very poor from LG. I am cuurently in Chennai. The split AC that i have taken in Delhi, the cooling is not working due to leakage of smoe gas for which I have made a complaint. Its been 4th day and every day they are saying they are sending Mechanique today, this time...other time. or .we will inform mechanique to fix this AC etc. They some time give mechanique number which upon call, they never pick up the call or respond that they can not make it. Some time they say I will come in half an hour and but then phone gets swithed off. Upon complain, the Chennai LG customer service looks help less, and makes another promise and commitment to be broken.

                            Even, one mechanique asked for higher price then normal the charges of fixing this colling machine. Upon asked they directed this to the Customer service to answer. Since then no one came to fix this. Can LG Company management take this as serious offense?

                            I bought LG Window AC from Rathna Fan house. Till first free service, it was OK. After 1st service, it started giving much noise. After we register a complaint, the service engineer came and checked the unit and said, this is the normal sound. When comparing to other brand ACs we have, it is very nosiy.
                            Iam totally agree with you people even i had the same problem i bought lg air conditioner from Viveks Vadapalani in the month of May 2008.they installed and the next i called them for the issue cooling problem, gas leakage, water lekage, sound problem they will come and they rectify it but still the problem isnt solved after investing huge amount on Ac we spend almost same amount for the service too...                             I am very sorry to say your way service support very very bad and worst, i purchased LG Sprit ac last year frequently i facing problem, Especially any part replacement they getting over a month, recently my ac having problem my self logged a compliant on 07-may-2012 call no RNA[protected], Engineer came and attend the complaint and confirmed compressor gone faulty and go back. after my continuous and lack of followup one Engineer came and removed the compressor taken for service, again my continuous and lack of followup my compressor returned after service but only returned not installed they only delivered, after that i continuously still now i am following for installing my unit there is no response happening in service center, in this time i am clarify with LG TOLL FREE call center they told your complaint call no above mentioned was already closed that service center by replaced compressor, So i thinking to go for local AC service center and avoid LG service support.

                            POOR SERVICE. We have a split AC of LG for which when I registered for paid service with their customer service phone no.[protected] they said it will be attended with in 48 hours. The complaint no.RNA[protected] was closed as call completed by the service centre WITHOUT ATTENDING. The same has been checked on the third day at the call centre of LG Electronics and told them that the information given by the service centre is bogus they again registered the service request no.[protected] and 3 days have gone since the request taken by the company but no one has turned up. It sounds the COMPANY DOESN'T CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER & THEIR CUSTOMER CARE IS NOT CAPABLE OF MAKING THE SERVICE CENTRE TO EXECUTE THE REQUEST.
                            I fully Agree, Global Enterprises who takes care of LG Customer service is probably the most fraudulent company ever and the technicians come to our home they say that they would deal this issue personally and they cheat their customers. LG should stop using the Global enterprises as their outsourced partner for customer services, the service manager of global enterprises Mr.Swaminathan is responsible too for this malpractice by the technicians.Thumbs down for LG..shame on you..

                            I would like to bring to your notice the pathetic customer service provided by Golden Enterprises on behalf of LG, The reputation of LG may be eroded by such a sense less agency If no necessary actions are taken I would not buy any LG products and will advise my friends about the same
                            We currently have 3 LG products and we have had a bad experience in 2 of these products
                            LG TV RT-29FC85VW, I did not find this in your website so I had to register with a different product
                            We had a problem with this TV and I called up the customer service number[protected] on the 2nd of May and got a Reference number
                            RNA[protected]. A technician named GIRI came to our home and he informed us that the parts will take at least 3 weeks to arrive and that he has got the part with him and he will do it personally and charged us 1800 rupees and he did not provide us a bill.
                            He said that he will help us free of cost if the problem occurs again for one year.In less than 70 days the problem reoccurred and we have been contacting him for close to 30 days and everyday he promised that he will come in one hour
                            But he never turned up, he did turn up on the 29th of August and he insisted that he take the main board with him,
                            We didn’t give it to him in the first place but we gave it to him finally and he has not come back to us yet. Every day I called him up and he will say that he will come in half hour but he never turned up
                            Now when I called Golden enterprises one Mr.Swaminathan answered the phone and he informed us that GIRI has been dismissed but he is still in touch with him and he has agreed to come to our house and fit the board today.But mr.GIRI called up later in the afternoon and is saying that he won’t come to my home and fit the board as we have contacted the head office
                            I then contacted mr.swaminathan again and now he is trying to justify Mr.Giri's actions and mr.Swaminahan asked us to go easy with mr.giri
                            Mr.Swaminthan seems to be involved in this fraudulent activity of mr.giri
                            When I told mr.swaminathan that I am going to contact LG India, SWAMINATHAN THREATHENED ME SAYING THAT HE WILL SEND AN EMAIL TO LG SAYING THAT I ASKED THE CUSTOMER TO HELP US PERSONALLY.He is not answering our calls anymore and he is disconnecting our calls.
                            I am deeply disappointed with LG's support and in fact I have never ever seen such a pathetic customer service ever from any company.
                            My Father is a retired Vigilance commission secretary and he preferred a police complaint on this, and mr.giri is still not moved and is rude and not ready to come and fit the board.
                            It is very evident that technicians from Golden enterprises has been dealing customers personally
                            I can give you another example
                            We have a LG Micro WAVE SOLO 20L MS-2049UW and we created a RNA[protected] for a broken front glass, a technician turned up and without doing anything he closed the ticket. I had to call the customer service again and create another ticket RNA[protected] and a technician turned up and he said LG doesn’t have the parts and dismantled the front door and left it as it is and asked us to get the glass changed and we had to get the glass changed ourselves
                            We got it changed in a local mirror shop and we called him to attach the front door he came after 8 days attached the door in 10 minutes and said that he needs 200 rupees as he did it personally. I do not understand why these technicians do it personally themselves and mr.swaminathan is solely responsible for this I have purchased a 1 TON A/c from LG and was planning to buy a LD LED 3D TV however I have changed my mind now and will probably not prefer LG anymore and I might inform my friends and family members about my awful experience with LG

                            As long as you have technicians like GIRI and people like swaminathan supporting him, LG’s reputation will be spoiled

                            I bought the LM 6410, 42" 3d LED Cinema Screen at GIRIAS in Nov 12, 2012 and LG's tech wall-mounted it. I had a picture problem with my TV, some light and some darker, started appearing by Oct 12 th 2013, in the top right quadrant, and began to spread.So i logged a complaint with LG helpline[protected] on Oct 12 th 2013 and the Request id is RNA[protected], and the Technician came and solved the query by placing PCB board failure and still the same issue again on the next day onwards and i registered a complaint and the Request id is RNA[protected]

                            By October 13th 2012, the grains/blurr started again on the screen.

                            and i raised a complaint to Mr.Vishnuvardhan to replace my Product as its in warranty period

                            LG Electronics — Refridge is not working

                            Hi, I am staying at Charkop Kandivali West. I have lodged a complain today morning about my fridge not working. but no one has come in yet. Please check what is happening? the technician is saying that since he could not locate my address so he is doing other duty.

                            Split Ac is not cooling

                            I had a service contract dt. 1.6.2013 No. HLP:ND015025. for three years. Presently the AC is not functioning properly as it is not cooling. Pl. get it rectified.

                              hi,
                              myself sohil shah staying at andheri in mumbai.
                              we bought a LG refrigerator 405 double door fresh peice from Panavision televideo pvt ltd opera house mumbai on 7th april 2008
                              in name of my mother meena lomesh shah

                              the thing is that we tried to lock the fridge once after locking
                              it was not opening...we immediately called called Lg centre they
                              send ur employee who solved it
                              but said its not proper needs to replaced.even the light inside its not working properly
                              we had many complaints since 2nd july and have asked for a door replacement or replacement of the entire piece but still
                              nothing has been done..its high time now almost 4 months no action taken that too for a brand new piece ..kindly do the needful

                                Mobile Model no. LG RD 6600, Sr. No. 804CY JZ0077964

                                The above mobile was purchased by me from Mobile Store vide their bill No. GJ / 01090/00001/4518
                                on 6.7.2008.
                                I have found that the mirror effect adversely affect the visibility of the mobile as during day time it can not
                                be used. No digit or any thing are visible on the screen except that of your own face. This draw back of
                                the mobile was not explained to me by the Mobile Store people. Hence I am forced to suffer.

                                Moreover the keypad is totally faulty. I was constrained to get the key pad repaired on three occasions
                                due to non functioning of one or other keys. The problem continues and I am forced to approach your
                                service centre very often. It is surprising that within 3 months of its purchase there are already 3 repairs
                                to the key pad.

                                There is also net work problem. There is continuous intruptions.

                                Looking to the severe problems being faced by me I have rather no alternative but to request you to make
                                replacement of this mobile by another suitable running mobile model. The diferential amount if payable shall
                                be borne by me.

                                It appears that the concerned model cannot be relied for proper communcation and correct mobile operation.
                                Since last 3 months I am being subjected to many difficulties and handicaps. Hence please consider my
                                request favorably and allow me the option of taking another mobile model of your make.

                                An immediate action in the matter is highly requested.

                                i purchased LG6600 3 MONTH AGO.i found keypad is difficult to operate, loose battery backup, bluetooth problem, internet problem and so many problem...i requested to reliance please change my mobile but they can not pay attention.i m agree to give balance amount if they change any higher segment mobile like nokia...kapil vijaywargiya, GWALIOR, MP.[protected]
                                my problem is that I am not able to connect this phone to internet the driver i am getting in the market are not able to communicate with the phone on net i found that I required USB to serial converter driver but I am not getting it from anywhere on net if you can please mail it to me by EMAIL.

                                The LG Authorised Service Centre at Gwalior namely Varsha Sales & Service (Phone No.[protected] is not fully equipped resulting into harrassment of customers. Just to give you an example, I had given my KE 970 for change of socket on 31.01.09 which is a very common part but the service centre says that it will take minimum a weeks' time. I request LG authorities to kindly look into it as LG is known for its customer care but due to some small things their images gets maligned.

                                  Purchased LG TV set model:29FU3AG on 2/08/2008. I noticed an errant and violent sound from speaker randomly.The complaint numbers I booked with LG customer care are:W8C83004439,
                                  W8C82605431. The service engineer came and done something but the problem did not resolve and additional problems such as continuous humming sound, out of frame picture, darkness etc. started to appear.
                                  I have approached LG service by email either to replace the set or refund the money.Waiting for their response.

                                    I have purchased one semi auto Washing Machine from Ramesh Corporation - C.G.Road, Ahmedabad - Gujarat - India, the Authrised Dealer on LG's Home Applinces - in Nov-2007.
                                    Subject matter of payment was EMI through Consu.Durable Loan from CitiFinancial - Ahmedabad. The Loan A/c No.is13990931 & Payment was made by giving 8PDC of rs.700 each falling on 5th of every month. At present all the PDC's are cleared for payment in Aug-2008, & payment of Loan is made in full. Till Date I Have not received No Objection Certificate - NOC agst.the product. from the CitiFinancial. I aproached frequently in all the branches of Citifinancial at Ahmedabad, but no response is given.
                                    Please look at the matter & Do needful in this regard.

                                      I contacted LG Electronics a few months ago regarding a television I had paid a huge price for in 2006. This television was already breaking (halogen bulb going out, etc) and I had hardly had it—plus most of
                                      They agreed to swap my television because it was recalled.
                                      On September 4, 2008 a delivery company showed up representing LG Electronics. They took the defective unit and came in with the new telling me there was no power cord, manual, remote control, or 75 round cord. They only had the screen. The man called LG Electronics. LG Electronics told him they would overnight the above items to me. An hour after I got a phone call but didn’t get it because I was in the restroom. It was LG affirming they would overnight the items---the problem is is that the employee only said the remote and the manual was being sent. I called her back within 2 minutes to correct her. I got a machine—and left a message. On September 5, 2008 I received a package from LG Electronics. Inside was only the remote and a manual.. I called LG Electronics. The employee said that he could not help me. I insisted that he let me talk to a supervisor—he refused. My husband talked to him after I became frustrated. He told my husband—after some time he would send the cord (at least) overnight. Nothing came Saturday, Sunday or Monday. I have called every day since the cord did not arrive—one time I am told it will be sent—other times I am told I have to be transferred—I am and I get a machine. I have been told many times it was sent—but I never get it. I have been being given the run around and as of yesterday the guy actually laughed at me when I explained my frustration. He would not transfer me to his supervisor. Today I called and the guy said he will send it after five days. I told him I have waited long enough and I have already been told it was sent—several times—when it wasn’t. This fella said, “I don’t know what to tell you”.
                                      I have never been treated so poorly and this company has failed to help remedy my issue. Each time I call they act like they do not understand and I have to repeat myself over and over. When I leave messages no one calls back. No power cord—a television that is worthless.
