We bought one LG Refrigeratorin May 2008 & we have been given small front wheel panel of the refrigerator by the dealer & the cooling of the refrigerator is not good at all, after so many requests on phone nothing has happened so far. Pl help us on this isssue.
We have lodged so many request for our complaints, some of the complaints no are 98c51302181 dated 13/05/2008, [protected] dated 24/7/2008, 72800696 dated 28/7/2008 etc.
Pl do the needful & oblige otherwise we will move to the consumer court.

We purchased one LG Refrigirator from Chennai Kodambakkam Next Show Room on 16.3.2008
last 25day's before some problem arised in cooling. Immidiatly we informered to next. They send one
technisian next day. The problem was solved that day. after 10 days the same problem arised from that day we are following to next and LG service center everytime they are telling sory for the delay.But still nobody attend to solve the problem. We are totally fedup with LG Products.if the service is worst how we will belive the LG Products.How we will buy the LG Products.In LG is there any sincere working officials please take necessary action and try to improve customers satisfaction.

i have purchased on LG Referigerator on 11.11.2008 from your authorised dealer Electric Craft, Kanti Nagar New Delhi in the name of Amarjeet Singh, 14/80 Geeta Colony last 20 days befor some problem arised in colling. I informed to the customer care on dt 3.5.09 & laudge the complaint in the name of Navdeep Singh, 598, four Storey, Vishal Enclave, New Delhi, Tagore Garden, near MCD Office they send one technisian after 4day & he told timer is not working then after 7 days the dt 15.5.09 engineer change the timer but when he go after 1 hour the referigerator not working just like dibba. We again lodge the complaint in customer care they are telling sorry for delay. but still nobody attend to solve the problemm We are totally fedup with LG products. if tthe service is this how we will be LG TOO big company. Please tell me what can i do if our product is not change/repair can go to consumer court or write in media

    I purchase LCD on 3rd June 2008 from Maharashtra Electronics Corporation which was failed to operate from 4th June 2008. I received replacement from the company on 7th June 2008. The same was failed to operate on 22nd July 2008 and again I received replacement on 5th August 2008. The same again failed on 10th August 2008 and waiting for replacement. I dont understand why the LCD failed. I would request to deliver the piece which will not fail.

    I have same problem...i purchased 32LC7D from LG...and after a week the LCD has failed...it looks like the power is on but no picture whatsoever is available...
    Will get in contact with manufacturer asap ...which is a real inconvenience...

    This blog makes me feel that much better ... i thought i was the only one with this issue :D

      This is to inform you that I have purchased a LG DVD player (Model No. LPC-D1000A) from Nikky Electronics, M V Phase III on 27/8/05 and the same have been working smoothly.

      On 30th March 2008 when I was watching a movie through DVD disk the disk got struck and a message displayed “disk error”. I contacted your customer care and they have given me the address and phone nos. of LG Service Center, Patparganj Indl. Area, Delhi and I went there and gave the system for checking. After checking they informed me that the lenses of the system got damaged and is to be replaced. They have replaced the CDM and on 6/4/08 I got the system repaired and the service engineer has put a CD in the system and shown me the picture there itself in the service center. They have charged Rs. 1752/- including service charges also. After that I have seen a movie at my home on 6th April and this is the only movie I have seen after I get it repaired and I never tried to put any CD or DVD in the system.

      On 22nd June 08 I put an audio CD in the system to listen the music but unfortunately, the display card shows the disk error message. I changed the CD and put another one, again the same message displayed. I tried all my audio CDs in the system but nothing happened. So I contacted service center and they advised me to bring the system in the service center. I went there along with the system for checking. Engineer put a DVD in the system and shows that it is working. Then I informed that I was unable to listen the song through Audio CD which was with me. To my utter surprise the service engineer informed me that the MPG card of the system is not working that is why I am unable to listen the song and the card is to be replaced. And the replacing charge of the same is Rs. 2000/- .

      Now I failed to understand how it happened neither I put an audio CD in the system nor I listened a song after I get it repaired. I have done only a mistake that I did not put an audio CD in the system and checked whether it is working or not, when I got it repaired. Since an ordinary customer does not know all the functions of the system, the engineer should have checked both the DVD and audio CD system properly and shown to the customer. Instead of that he has only shown the DVD functioning of the system.

      I try to explain the situation which I experienced with the system then the engineer said that nothing will happen with these explanation and arguments.

      Since I have already spent near about Rs. 9000/- for this system, how it possible to spend Rs. 2000/- extra within 2 months time. I feel better than this, to purchase a new CD player worth about 2000/-

      In view of the above circumstances, kindly look into the matter and do the needful for get it repaired the same in free of cost.

      In view of the above, a positive response from your side is highly appreciated.

        LG — Freezer Problem

        I have made a number of complaints to LG all in vain. The problem with my fridge is that the refrigerator compartment stops cooling due to excess ice formation in the freezer compartment.

        So far, all the parts except the frame of the fridge have been changed but the problem has not been resolved.

        To avoid such problems, we keep the fridge off for 4 hours a day and set the temperature control to +6.

        Looking for help from someone somewhere to resolve this problem once and for all.

        LG Refrigerator — freeze is not working

        my name is Amir ahmed s/0 Basheer ahmed live in tonk. I bought a LG Freeze model no-GL 185 ABN-ZEBN. Serial no-006NL-QFO55868
        Since the buying date its not working properly. there is a too much moisturiser above the chill tray and the water is falling continiously in all food item in the freeze. i had compalint 3 times at the dealer and also LG Headoffice but they are not listen about it. we are so disturb about this problem. our all food items full of water daily
        I will complain at consumer court soon if they dont care.

          I HAD TAKEN MICROWAVE OVEN, THE DEMONTRATION PERSON CALLED ME AND I TOLD HIM THE ADDRESS HE CAME TO MY HOME HE HAD NOT OPEN THE BOX PACK JUST HE TAKEN THE SERIAL NUMBER AND TOLD ME TO DO THE SIGNATURE I SIGN IT AFTER THAT HE TOLD THAT OTHER PERSON WILL COME BUT TILL DATE NO ONE HAS TURNED.WHEN TRIYING TO CALL THE PERSON THEY NEVER PICK THE CALL AND WHEN I CHECKED THE CALL STATUS IT IS CLOSED .I REQUEST THE CUSTOMER TO NOT TO TAQKE LG PRODUCTS AS THE SERVICE IS TOOO BAD.

          I agreed wid ur point, every big comapny is doing same.
          they adopt aggressive approach only to sell out or to dump their product, having large sales team, but in respect of service they r making fool to customer.
          As long as we are all having fun!

          I called the LG office, was given a date of Oct 29 between 8-12 a dispatch number of D[protected] and the name of the dealer of AAB Tech Electronics[protected]

          Made arrangement to be home, no show.

          I then called in, was told that "they tried to call to re-schedule for Thursday Oct 30 - a clear lie"

          Stayed home again Oct 30 - no show again.

          I called AAB and they laughed at me - we do not know who you are they said.

          I called the LG office again - I was told that it was not AAB, that it was Elite Appliance - so their office really called me a liar and that I invented AAB and their phone number.

          Elite gave me a date of tomorrow Nov 3.

          Then they called me back to tell me it is COD - $ 100 for the call plus $ 9 for gas surcharge( they are 1.8 km from my house)

          A very poor product indeed.
          Just dead in the water.

          I'm trying to reach some one from the customer support end of LG regarding the microwave oven. My brother was gifted with a LG microwave oven by his boss for his wedding. They purchased the product. So he could not check with his boss for the user manual. Is there any way for us to get another user manual?

          Can any folks help out in this regard?

          LG Microwave Oven — irresponsible customer service

          why the customer service is so irresponsible.............after complaining so many times there is no response from the service center. not even a single person came to repair our microwave oven. is this the way you people do service to the customer service....its really sad to see dis response from d LG service center.

            On 10th June, 2007, I bought an LG Refridgerator Model 448JTX, which was considered to be the latest innovation by LG.

            On 24th April, I first expereinced registered the complaint about the Deep Freezer door opening up on its own when I closed the lower door of the frisge. Over the next 3 months, a number of technician came and did various things to resolve the problem but were unsuccessful. Subsequently, one of the senior engineers Mr Pawan Sharma came in and face the same issue as faces by others. He assured of replacing the fridge which then was within the warranty period if he could not find a solution by his next visit.

            However, in his next visit, the quickfix he applied to resolve the issue was to tilt the fridge back to ensure that the door, if opened, closed due to the firdge being tilted.

            When I asked how this was a solution, they said that this is a new innovation and this is the only solution to the problem. They went further to tell me as much as that we (customers) dont know how to use a fridge and this is normally how such issues are resolved and that is the best that they can do in as many words.

            I now want to know if there is a way I can get my fridge returned (I am no longer interested in replacing the fridge or trying to resolve this issue) as more than 1 year has elapsed since I bought the fridge.

            Also, I wanted to know if I can seek redressal from the consumers forum in this regards and if I am correct in what I have put up as a problem.

                I got issue in my LG washing machine from mid of June 08, I have logged complain with LG customer care. after logging the issue there is no update form LG. then i followed up several time and finally one engineer come to check washing machine after two week. That engineer came along with his trainee, he checked all and told there is PCB issue, we need to replace. after that hter is no update from service centre, then i called LG requested for escallation. then there is no update from them i been figthin with LG customer care fro three weeks and the again coame to my place without appoint ment and given common report as PCB replacement reprot.

                whenever we call LG customer care they will apologise for each and evary thing but if the person is apologise they should not repat that mistake again. but they using apologise and irretated me lot.. because progress is null..00000...

                last week agian i called them and figthing then to transfer the call to escalation person.. that peron is not transfering and updating me that they escalation will come in after noon only.. if you ask for escalation person on evening 6pm the will escaltion person will available only on morning..

                Last week i had very tough discussion with LG customer care finnal they sent one person for replacing PCB, its faulty one...

                They commited me the PCB will be replaced in Mid for june but still they answer that waiting for stock. i checked with them they told who all having this modle in bangalore and whoo all logged the PCB .. they are still waiting for replacement. i dont know this statement is true or false... but for same LG model washing machine advertisement is running TV :) :( ... i dont know... whats going in and around LG LG CUST Care and LG Service support...

                I have LG top loading machine bought 5 years back ib 4 years time LG replaced the spinning head at the cost of approx Rs 6500-00 . 2 times top lid magnt at the cost of Rs.600-00

                I had national Japan machine which I used for 10 years without spending a NAYA paise.
                If you compare the machine to National machine LG is 3rd class machine .

                This is to bring to your notice the very pathetic service provided by LG. We logged a complaint with LG regarding a problem with our LG Tromm Front loading washing machine, on Wednesday, 16th September, 2009. The call centre person took almost 20 minutes on the telephone trying to understand the reason for our call and at the end of the conversation he said that the matter would be resolved within 2 hours. Unfortunately, we were not given a complaint number. The next day too noone came. We waited again on Friday, no one turned up. On Saturday, we called again and this time we were given a complaint number and assured us that someone would be visiting our house soon. As expected no one turned up on Saturday. On Sunday too no one turned up. Today is Monday, 21st September, 2009, the 6th day and no one has turned up at our place till 5:00 p.m. If you look at your records, you will find that we have made several complaints and requests but it has fallen on deaf ears. Clothes have not been washed for the past 6 days.

                We do not understand what to do or where to go. Does not seem like the service of LG is reliable. This is very unfortunate!!

                Please let us know if something could be done to resolve an issue that is so urgent.

                  LG — DVD rom is not reading DVD

                  I purchased DVD rom but after 1-1/2 year the problem is accrued, that the rom is not reading the DVD but accept the CD . I just want to know is that can be repaired if yes in how much and from where .

                  I buy a DVD writer(model no.GH22NS50, Super Multi DVD Rewriter) for the price 1300, two days before from "One Zero, Kuthuparamba".Its MRP is printed only1200. But they("One Zero, Kuthuparamba") said, to show the tax lesser amount MRP is like that. After Buying i noticed that on the front panel only "supermulti" symbol is there.No LG symbol.Inside the writer there is a sticker with the above details and also "Mfd. by Hitachi-LG data storage.Inc".My question is, is it surely LG writer? The Computer center "One Zero, Kuthuparamba" said latest versions do not have symbols of LG.In the sticker labeled on the side, Date of Mfg. is NOV.2009.Is it true?                         It's been almost 10 days since lodging of complaint for the LG FRONT LOADING washing machine door not locking causing the machine not functioning. Initially the service engineer did not come for days together.After pursuing with the authorised service centre the company sent an old spare part which ofcourse did not rectify the fault. Is this kind of after sales service this company is providing ? Should cosumers buy this kind of stuff ? Is this value for money spent a consumer ought to recieve ? I will not recommend anybody to buy this machine.

                        LG- FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE — W8C92000171- complaint no .. dated 20th sept 08

                        i would like to register a complaint against poor service of LG ...its been 3 weeks that i registered my comaplaint ...the technician said that motor of the washing machine needed to be replaced. meanwhile there was no feed back from LG SERVICE CENTRE AS TO HOW LONG ITwould take to attend my complaint.After several phone calls from my side i was told that motor was lying inthe godown as an when it come to our service centre we would get it fixed. I AM staying at vadsar which is about 20 kms from ahmedbad. This is not the first timethat i am facing the problem with poor LG service, in the past too in aplce like hydrabad it took 26 days for LG to attend my complaint. i would like someone to help me as i have given up and convinced not to buy any LG prodcut now on wards.
                        THERE appears to be no reaction from LG or similar complaints from IFB etc. Unless these comments
                        are automatically forwarded to respective companywebsites, such complaints oninternet will have no effect. Further complainants should quote a reference number for convenience of all.

                        Actually i wanted to buy a washing machine but find similar lacksidical attitude of every supplier. Maybe
                        National Consumers' Commission should make it obligatory for all manufacturers and suppliers to have a part of their website set apart for complaints.

                          i am reporting to the dealer, Dealer send his person & said that
                          the setting is not proper &he done it according to him.Then also the fridge was not working properly.So we asked the dealer for the replacement, after that LG representative came &he told
                          that thermostat the part which deceides the cooling is faulty.
                          That means dealer have given deffective fridge to me .
                          From last 3 months i am suffering everyday.
                          I am now regretting my decision of trusting the LG brand.
                          I also have objection on behaviour / language of LG representative with my mother.
                          I am not ready to accept the defective refrigerator.
                          Please help me to get Refund / Replacement of refrigerator.

                            Our educational Institute is Government Polytechnic College for women, Madurai-11. We bought 2 nos of LG 1.5 tonn air conditioner in Ambigai Airconditioner, Madurai, India on 31.10.2007 and warranty period of one year. For the past 3 months 2 nos of LG Aircon are not working. Both of them are in within warranty period. We gave complaints to Ambigai Airconditioners (Dealer of LG Aircon) more number of times. But there is no response from Ambigai Airconditioners (Dealer of LG Aircon). In our computer lab, Students are very difficult to do the computer practicals because 2 nos of LG Airconditions are not working. I request that kindly make necessary arrangements to service 2 nos of LG Airconditions as early as possible.

                            I bought a split 1.5 ton AC from Vasanth & Co West tambaram. They said installation is free. Two guys came to my home after two days for installation and they checked my house. Then they said split is not possible in ur house buy window AC. I got shocked. I called LG for more than 10 times on that day no response. Finally one guy picked and I told him the issue. He said will send one expereniced guy to your house for feasibility. No reply after that. Still my AC lying in my house with out installation.

                            LG — No response for warranty service

                            For the past 10 day's i've admitting my complaint regarding my LG 240 litre refrigirator service. I've bought it on may 2011. Still it is in warranty period, but whenever i admit the complaint to customer care, they are saying that "complaint has been registered, our service eng. will come for service".                               I would like to share an absolute horrid experience I have had with one of your dealers M/S PanaVision at opera house.



                              Let me inform you that Im an absolute LG customer, All 3 AC’s, Refrigerator, Microwave are all LG products.. We were just about to buy a 560 litre new refrigerator and a new LG washing machine( But now are in 2 minds)



                              I have a common friend Mr.Rakesh Mehta who I spoke to install a 1 ton AC at my residence on Monday 14th ..Panavision the dealer was informed accordingly for the delivery. Monday passed, whole day my carpenters and electricians waited but no one turned up.. I was told that the delivery will be done at 1pm on tuesday 15th..once again my carpenters and electricians were present at my residence at 1pm.. I was told that the AC had left at 1230. From 2 pm till 6.30 pm I must have given 20 calls to find out and every time I was told they are just 5 mins away.



                              The AC eventually landed at my residence at 7.30pm..I did not accept the delivery and send it back as I was totally disgusted with the delivery. On asking the loaders I was told that “ Our Boss fools the customers like this everytime and that we are also fed up of him” “ He thinks he does a favor on us by paying us Rs.3000/- as salary.



                              When I called up the showroom no one responded to me, on asking them for dealership details I was told that “ We don’t know where we are working, and you can do what you want” Eventually I got hold of the owner one Mr.Rajeev Chawla who tells me that “if you don’t want the AC send it back and stop calling me up”.. Please note that this the 2nd time I have experienced this horrible service from the same person in the past.



                              The trauma that me and my family have gone through is un imaginable.



                              I think these guys are required to go through a complete course on customer service and customer training programme to improve their skills and know more on how to deal with customers who are their bread and butter.



                              In these times of crises all over where one company is striving to better the other, these things do matter a lot. I know it would be extremely difficult, but would appreciate if you could look into this matter personally and pull up the concerned people.



                              I would be highly obliged if you could kindly revert back to me favorably.

                                This is regarding my LG mobile, model No. KP220.

                                I had bought this mobile 2 months back.
                                But started facing the following problems after a week or two :

                                1> Mobile getting discharged very soon
                                2> When I put on charge, sometimes I get the message : "Battery Temperature Out Of Limit" and thereafter mobile shuts down
                                3> If sometimes, it gets charged by any chance, gets discharged after a call or so.
                                4> When the charge is low, screen becomes GREY

                                I have shown my LG Handset at the Ameerpet Service Centre thrice.
                                I wasted my time, energy and money on this.
                                But they could do nothing.
                                Sometimes I doubt what they have repaired.

                                I had purchased one L.G Make mobile phone model KP-220 from Croma center, Iscon, Ahmedabad on 27/09/2009 on 02/04/2009 Mobile was hanged and I had given it for service in Mishree communication (Authorised service center of L.G) at Ahmedabad on same day (02/04/09). They had not given me any stand by mobile after demanding. They replied that they have no spare mobile and they can’t provide mobile to every one. After two days on 04/05/09 I had received it back, after few days on 25/04/09 same problem occurred second time and I had given it for repair at same L.G service center. This time also I had demanded for stand by mobile but they had not provided. I had got it back on 28/04/2009. same day with-in 10 minutes same problem occurred I had given it back and got it back on same day. Now since last two day I am facing same problem. Now all ready more then 500 Rs. I had spent for petrol to go at L.G service center, now I can't want to spend any single paney for the same for under warranty mobile for such repeated problems. Now same problem occurred continuous and I can't want to repair this mobile. This is under warranty and I want free replacement of this mobile hand set or any other model of the company which is same or higher price from L.G. Other wise I will go to Grahak suraxa for complaint of the same. Also I want to mention that attitude of your service center persons are not good. Also they will keep our mobile for two days and we are handicap for these days. They are not providing any stand by mobile after demanding by us.

                                LG MOBILE ,MODEL KP 220 — BAD SERVICE

                                I bought my lg mobile handset on 01/02/2009 & after 3 months started some problem with headset.It was not working properly something like looscontacts .So i went the service centre in CHENNAI , Near Eaga Theatre .They told need to change the mother board & i waited around two months to get the board changed.And i got a new IMEI number for that .Then the next month i got problems with the dispaly & mobile is getting switched off automatically in all times .That time they told i need to change the mother board again.From the first service itself i got some problem with the front pannel .They destroyed the screw thred & the body is now shaking.But i went to different service centre & they changed my the display only & its working properly but they said mobile getting switched off is becos of the problem of front pannel with is damaged by technician.They told it will be chargd around rs 400 to change the front pannel.So im asking why i want to pay to change the front pannel .And my mobile is in warranty period.So pls take an immiediat action on this.Becos the service people made me very angry to LG Products & i want to get the front pannel replaced without any charge .

                                    I have intellowave 20 litters oven. Some 30 days back the glass turn table had broken. When I contacted the local LG Customer service at Tambaram chennai, I was told that they do not have stock at present may be contacted after a week.
                                    After a week I had approched the customer service, again I got the same reply "no stock".
                                    The oven is kept unused for more than a month now.
                                    Pl let me know where can I get the glass plate.

                                    Pl advise all your customer service centres to keep enough stock of spares hereafter.

                                      i totally agree with you...we r trying from th elast 3 days to get gprs connected...no use...
                                      Same problem unable to connect to the internet thru my airtel conn.
                                      I bought a LG KP 110 mobile phone in before one month.It is RS.2, 800.But it not receive settings of GPRS connection. I want airtel live activation.please help me. My phone no. is [protected].pls hlp me.

                                      LG KP110 — Poor Battery Backup

                                      LG KP110 manual shows that it's talk time is about 4hours. They teals lye. This mobile have very very poor talk time & battery backup. I bought this mobile and now I am suffering. Be sure it's battery backup before you buy any LG mobile.

                                        Our Television LG 21inch flatron 350W ctv, product code LG-CTV-RF-21Fc80E is not working properly.

                                        my problem with LG started mid-Feb of this year. without reason the LG CTV RP-29FC1BL television bought Oct 31, 2007 from a reputable store here in the phil started to turn black and white and the screen began rolling!! i called up LG customer service and was told to get in touch with an authorized service center in qc. jhemma electronics told me to monitor the unit, it was march 14 when they first came to fix my unit..march 19 they came back because it rolled again. they wanted to pull out the chasis board for testing, jhemma took it out march 26 and it stay with them until april 8, they changed the vertical ic but when the technicians delivered and installed the chasis to everyone's surprise the screen started rolling right away!!! i then contacted LGE head ofc and they agreed to handle my concern. people from LGE came and pulled out the entire unit april 16. finally it was delivered april 25...and since then to this day may 6, 2009 my unit is still not working. sad but true, paid jhemma for check-up and fixing, paid LGE for the resistor or somethin including the handling fee BUT TV STILL NOT WORKING.

                                        i will never again purchase an LG.
