I have taken a Home loan from Gurgaon Branch of LICHFL, through Area Manager Ashutosh Sood and his subordinate Dushyant Sharma in the month of June'07. and Being a GE employee they said they have given me the loan at the discounted rate of 10.75% instead of rack rate of 11.5%, ( which was not the true scenario) and also have charged me discounted processing fees of Rs 4K+ as compared to actual of Rs 19K as its 1% of the loan approved, which again was not the truth.

And since December as the ROI is continously reducing, they are not telling me the correct ROI which would be applicable in my case and always says that shall let you know.

And now although the area manager is saying that the ROI has been reduced to 10.5%, but he is not telling me the effective date, neither he is telling me when my EMI will be changed.

Now both of them are not picking up my phone.

I have taken loan from LIC Housing Finance Ltd. given 12 post dated from Jan.'2008 to Dec.'2008. In the month of Oct'2008 and Nov.'2008 they have not put cheque in their account.
I have not any knowedge why they have not clear cheque from my account.
I am not a defaulter.
They have issued a letter Nos. FH.23218301.[protected].2625 DT. 22.10.2008 &FH.23218301.[protected].2625 DT. 3.11.2008 with panely of about Rs. 400 lumsum.

I have furnish the detail over phone.
I am very shocked if they can not keep our post dated cheques in order, how I will believe for housing documents are safe.
If they have misplace the cheque they can simply inform about the cheque I can transfer the amount or issued another cheque after the cancellation of earlier cheques.

BEWARE OF CHEATING POLICIES of LIC HOUSING:

I took a loan from them and pre-paid a part in first 4 months. Later, they told me that interest will be charged to the same Outstanding Principal that was before pre-payment. They have such unfair policies to fool you around.

LIC Housing is a very very lousy company. Visit their website, and you will not find any phrase called "Customer Care". There is no care in practice as well. Keep away from them as much as possible.

Actually my house is 2km away from allahbad bank Shastri Nagar branch. I reached there to get a house loan. Mr paul manager the branch manager was not interested to talk about the home loan.
I told him i am woking with RBS and my wife is UP government employee and she has account with your allahabad bank. we want a home load. He said go to any other bank your house is too far from there reach.
but my house is near to LIC which is the center of meerut and approx 2 km away form the branch.
Private bank are running behind me but i want government bank. He surprised me with nowork attitude.

Home Loan — no response after speaking with customer care over phone regardsing home loan

Dear Officer,
I contacted toll free number my reference number is 7042046 last week and this week for enquirying about home loan .I have got the answer from that saying that some will from your bank will contact me very soon but one is turned out.

so kindl ask some body to contact me.

This has reference to my Home Loan. My EMI to be presented on every 10th, but this month EMI
falls on 11th due to 10th sunday. Hence I have deposited the amount on[protected] morning
9.45 AM. But I was shocked that ECS amount presented in the morning 7.30 AM and penalty charges
deducted.
This is un-justified. Hence re-present the ECS clearance and also return the penalty charges
which you have charged.

LIC HOUSING FINANCE — misleading interest rates and faulty documentation

I too applied for a loan of 32 Lac and they were very prompt in giving me in principal approval. They promised me an interest rate of 9.5% on my loan amount but it was really very surprising to see them using formula for interest as 13 - 2.75, which comes to 10.25%. (.5 promised to me was a special rate for next one or two months.

They also told me that I can repay 10 percent loan per annum without any penalty and this thing was not at all mentioned in agreement. When inquired they told me that they can give me in writing but only on letter head of Branch officer, not in agreement.

Thirdly they told me that they will charge me only Rs 5550 for filing / processing but in agreement they mentioned that I have paid Rs 5000 and rest 11000 is balance. Again on inquiring they told me that it is mandatory to write like that, but Branch officer will give me in writing that I don’t have to pay this balance, but again on his letter head (not in agreement, where due was clearly mentioned).

I don’t know what sort of authority LIC has given to these Branch Officers that they can give things in writing on their letter heads. Agreements are legal and binding documents meant for this purpose. Come on LIC we are not fools. I have wasted my Rs 5500 and precious time behind such a fraud organization.
Can any one from LIC address my issue? They have really shambled their image.

I had contacted Mr. Shailender, representative of LIC Housing Finance Ltd., Ist Floor, K-59, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi-24, Mobile No. [protected] for getting housing loan for some Gurgaon Project. I regret to point out that after about 4-5 calls, Mr. Shailender contacted me and that too with a dull attitude. After two calls, sent somebody on 8th May, 2009 to collect the papers (Draft papers) so that he could go through the papers and let me know if there is any shortfall of information. He indicated me that he will revert back to me within a day or two and indicate the position. Surprisingly, till today[protected] neither he has given me any information nor tried to contact me. Today, when I rang up and asked him the position, he told me that he has not talked to his manager as yet. Considering his attitude, I asked him that if he has to deal the case in this fashion, he should return my papers to which that gentleman agreed, without any shame, to return my papers. Is there anybody in LIC Housing to take up the matter to deal such type of representatives so that the prospective customers are not harassed and are not bound to waste their valuable time. LIC home loan is cheating people with wrong inormation.
LIC is marketing its interest rate is 8.75 %, but its not true.
this rate is concessional & only for 3 months & their after the rate is about 10.25-10.5.
this is very serious asey are hiding such information & fooling people who are in real need of loan
i have only applied in May, 2009 with a cheque amount of Rs.1103/- in Lajpat Nagar Branch, Delhi .but i donot want to take loan from LIC, i issued a cheque Rs.1103 in favour of LIC. i told him i m not interested about loan from LIC. when i did not take loan from LIC they posted cheque in Bank and withdrawn amount in my account. i want to back my ammount of Rs.1103/- from LIC.

my house vendor have the loan 1122800, but iam taking loan only 600000 . how to clear the my vendor loan and when should i go for registraion

I agree to the complaints of LIC. I have also applied for a loan which was sanctioned but not disbursed due to some policy changes in LIC. When I approached their office in Lajpat nagar for refund of processing fees, as loan was not disbursed, they denied the refund without any reason.
LIC do not have any email or ph. no. where we can complain. The only way is now approach the consumer court. We should do it together.

We have approached LIC housing finance for loan & they have sent a executive to clarify all the queries. But when we visited the branch for submitting the papers for finalization we are shocked that the agent has given so many false commitments for Loan repay, Rate of interest, & processing fee. Even the branch person says that we don't know the executive, & he is working there & attending the customers.

I had applied for a loan (A/C[protected] of 10L and received 5L and 2 L in two installements. 3L is yet to be received.
my first ECS was cleared for Rs. 1103 againt interest. I was told that your payment had not been received. On enquiring from my bank I could know that LIC had not initiated to ECS payment. Any way I had deposited a cheque and to my surprise late payment charges also deducted.
At this juncture my apprehensions are
1. So far 30% Loan amount is yet to be received and installement is being paid for full amount.
2. Since LIC had not initiated they why late charges
It appears that no body is there to take care customers. loan seekers should also be treated as cusomer.
Can anybody from LIC official look into it.

I have taken a Home loan from Chandigarh Branch of LICHFL .(a renowned house only in name, But not in services).The people of LIC home loan is cheating people with wrong inormation.As happened in my case. I was sanctioned a loan loan of Rs 15, 00000/- for the purchase of a C.H.B flat in chd .At the time of registry i had disbursed the payment of Rs 13.40 lacs by Lic.h.f.l. And the balance payment of Rs 1.60 lacs was required by me for the renovation of the house after the registry.
Mr PARVEEN based at Patiala, concerned executive in LIC HFL CHD branch, has assured me to hand over a cheque of Rs 1.60 lacs (Within week of time ) without any more documentation after the registry (done on 5/10/2009) for the purpose of renovation. and then i started renovation at my new home after getting this assurance and make the expenses about Rs 1.60lacs., , but 15days later Mr PARVEEN, suddenly wake up & start demanding documents like architect report, ownership letter of the flat(even after all the original documents like registry etc were lying with this Branch only ), .I have already applied for the ownership of the flat on 9/10/2009, and the receipt of the same already submitted in LIC HFL CHD branch .The ownership process will take 2-3 months to complete but for this much time i can't wait as i am debted under Rs 1.60 lacs and had to make the payments immidiately to the renovators. I visited LIC HFL CHD BRANCH for further query but nothing has happend.Mr CHARANJIT area manager of this branch was answerless for the false commitment by their staff member (Mr Parveen).
I want to know why such organisation are not training fully their people before entering into their field..I am 100 % agree with the norms by any oganisation .but sometimes inadequate knowledge harrase the customer like me without any reason.
please take care the emotions of the customers.

Very very poor service i had ever seen, especially the atta market branch. People are sleeping, misplacing the papers and ultimately causing losses to the customer.

I have taken loan of Rs. 351000 on Feb.2004.and loan account No.is[protected]. At that time I had given advance cheque of twelve months for every year up to 2006. On 24th November 2006, you send me ECS form for easy and hassle free mode of repayment.But as per my letter on dated 10.1.2007 mentioned that, I had given post dated cheque for the year 2008.After completion of twelve cheques, I will be send ECS form filled with.After that On dated 13.12.2008 I had sent the ECS form duly filled with necessary information as per option given in the form, the option for sr.no.3 was Date of effect i.e.1st, 10th, and 15th. As per my good conveniance I have choosen 10th. Next month I have seen that EMI was deducted before the effective date which was given in ECS form.Unfortunately the balance was low in the bank. and that's effect you have penalty of Rs. 701/- to me due to non payment of EMI. Here I do not understand that if there is option in ECS, and I have given the second one then Why you deducted the EMI before the effective date.Your wrong procedure given me financial loss as well as mentally distress.About this matter I have given the letter to you on 11.1.2008 but still today there no any reply given to me. Let me provide clrification about this matter.
had taken the loan of Rs.5, 00, 000/- ( Rs. Five Lakhs Only ) in 1998 and payment mode was through ECS from SBH, Noida as during the said period I was working with Govt Concern and in July 2009, I got Transferred to Other Department as this department is not having an Bank Account with SBH and In the Light I had transferred my Salary Account to ICICI Bank And got my Salary Account Transferred to ICICI Bank.

Initially I was depositing the Cash in SBH so as to clear ECS Payments of LICHF Limited, Due to which I was forced to intimate LICHF accordingly regarding my New Bank Account in Jan2010, and later in Feb2010 Mid one employee of LTCHF, Noida ontacted me and intimate me that ECS Payment procedure and accordingly I had done and given a letter to Noida Branch on 22.03.2010, along with my due Payment cheque which was cleared well in time. But till dated no further recovery had been done from my new account and now I was contacted by Noida Office and told me that Few more installment are pending which I had paid as Cash along with the Penal Interest as per LICHF Policy.

In the light of above I here regret for delay and assure that as my ECS payment is with my new salary A/C with ICICI Ltd no future payment will be delayed. Further I Regret for the delay cause because of my transfer to other department and change in salary account and delay for the payment.

Moreover I hereby send all the proof of my version and correspondence with LICHF as support of my claim

Further as per proof some responsibility lies with LICHF also.For not intiomasting me earlier.

Moreover as per commitment no copy of my property deed was given till date after 500 time reminders and follow-ups and finally all responsibility was given on LICHF Asaf ali Road by Noida Branch, Which forced me to say that LICHF is not a responsible financial institution and all work at least in NCR region is forced to asaf ali road Branch., which is truth or esquise.

Further am working with Accounts Section and had to check different parties/individuals “ CREDIT ‘ at CRISIL site and was surprised to note has till date my name is appearing in site as all my overdue amount has been cleared as per LICHF demand..

Now I had aapplied for Construction, loan which is refuced as earlier loan was for Land branch manager is telling not to give fresh loan why it is a harressment by LICHF..

I personally do not advice any body to go for LIC Housing. While settlement of Home Loan account they least bother to take care of customers.. I m following there Asaf Ali branch for my documents but no body pick up the call, if somebody picks up the call they just put the call on hold..

they just have an SARKARI Attitute..

also its very strange that their Branch Head do not have Hand Sets.
LIC housing finance is truly sarkari company. If you have decided to take loan, be prepared that you will be harrased every time you deal with them.
Yes, I have been suffered through hands of Faridabad branch- Branch Manager Ashutosh Sood, and Sales Executive Vineet Kholi.

Here you don’t get any service.

1) LIC HFL claims that they disburse cheque against demand letter in 4-5 days,
Fact is: It takes 20-21 days, and worse no one cares to answers when the cheque would be ready.
So dear buyers be ready to pay penal charges for late payment of Installments.

2) They will deposit cheques with builder each time demand is raised. You have don’t have to go to builder office

Fact is: To get new account sales executives give false promise. At time of deposit they would get hundreds of excuses and ultimately you yourself have to go and deposit cheque at builder’s office.

3) LIC Housing finance is truly a sarkari company, where no one responds the phone, no one replies to your query. You get harassed every time you deal with some one in their office.
LIC having good policies. But the working employees are not take care about customers. Dealing with customers very badly. No clear response. If goes like that, LIC future will be goes worst stage.

I have taken home loan from ghaziabad branch. I paid full and final amount on 31-05-11. The amount cleared from my aT ON 03-06-11. After that the office again deduct monthly ECS on 06-06-11. I mailed to the conserned office but no reply. I called so many time to speak area manager but no body picking phone. Please help to get my mony back. I am also waiting to coolect my original documents also. No body is guiding properly.

Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your king attention towards careless functioning of Employees working in the office Laxmi Building, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi-2.

1. My two LIC policies which were deposited during the issuance of Loan in the year 2003 against housing loan A/C No. 89962 are matured in the month of March-2011.
2. In this regard I have submitted request in the office of Area manager LIC HFL, The Plaza, SF-15, M.G.Road, Near Iffco Chowk, Gurgaon. Mr. Sunil, Cashier assure me that he will sent my policies in the LIC Office situated at 20/4, Palm Court, Sector-14, Gurgaon.
3. After 15 days of the submission of my request, I again visited in the office, situated at Iffico Chowk Gurgaon. Mr. Sunil again told me that he has deposited the cheque (Maturity Amount of two policy No.[protected] and[protected] in my loan account, but he fails to issue receipt to me reasoning that he kept the receipt but not traceable.
4. In the month June-2011, I came to know that Mr. Sunil, Cashier has left the job and no payment was deposited in my Loan Account and I was also shocked to know that my above said two LIC policies are not available in the office record.
5. In the month April I also applied additional loan of Rs. 5 lakh through Sh. Naresh Mehta (Agent) and deposited required documents and my loan was sanctioned vide No.[protected].
6. In the month of June-2011 I was asked to submit Sanction letter alongwith Map of property in original. I handover required papers to Mr. Naresh Mehta and he sent the same alongwith others files of the LIC HFL office from gurgaon in the office situated at Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi through currier.
7. On 27.06.11 when I asked about my loan amount from Mr. K.K.Sharma Area Manager of Branch I was one again shocked to know that sanctioned letter and map of property is not available in the office situated at Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi.,

Sir, I request you kindly take action against the defaulters and issue order for tracing out my policies and valuable property papers otherwise, I will file the case in the consumer court for getting relief.

This is in ref to our telecon on 17.11.2011

As has been informed by Lucknow LIC Office, a cheque (no. 243533, dated 28.08.11, drawn on Axis Bank) was issued against money back to the cited policy. The same has been encashed by LICHousing Fin. Ltd.

Kindly response to following queries:

1. LIC Housing Fin. Ltd. had lost my original policy. Such a blunder by an organization of repute ?
2. LIC Housing Fin. Ltd. issued a duplicate policy against the lost policy and given me NOC for full and final settlement of my loan account.
3. After full and final settlement of my loan and NOC given by LICHFL, and my name has been strike-off from the books of LICHFL, how come the cheque been sent as money back amount has been encashed by LICHFL and not handed over to me ?

In above circumstances I am constrained to say that first of all I should be given a letter from LICHFL with regard to lost original policy bond and that a duplicate policy bond been issued in lieu thereof (duplicate policy bond was received without any such covering letter).

Further, I should be compensated by money back amount plus interest @ 25% with effect from issue date of money back cheque in my favour till it is received by me.

If your organization fails to do as above I shall be left with no option but to file a legal case against you with competent jurisdiction.

I am not sure who is the responsible person in the LIC Housing finance, as a dissatisfy customer and frustrated by the pathetic customer support provided by your officials. I am forced to share my concern to you, in hope to have justice regarding my case at the earliest possible.
I have taken a loan from LICHFL against mortgage of my LIC Policy no.[protected], which was already paid on 18.06.2010.( copy of receipt attached herewith).

Please note that the following

1- Since then I am continuously following Mr. Satish over phone and personally both. No appropriate answer is been given
to me he only say that in a few days the
Policy will be returned and the same will communicated to lic regarding No dues.

2- When the work was not done I have said the things in writing in 3rd Dec, 2010 and a copy of receiving was with me
(copy attached).

3- From then I am continuously following him and one day he said that the work will be done from Gomti Nagar Office,
When my representative reached Gomti Nagar office they said the work will be done from Sapru Marg office. When
again my representative after some days met Mr. Satish, he said to bring the status of the LIC policy which was mortgage
against my loan.

4- Today when my representative reached the office Mr. Satish was not there, he has contacted Mr. Ashok, for getting the
information regarding Mr. Satish that he is present or not. My representative has asked that if Mr. Satish is not here the
please tell me the Person who is above (Boss) Mr. Satish.Then he said BOSS RAHENGE TO KYA ANDA DENGE YAHA".

5- please process my papers as soon as possible because it is a money back policy and in the month of Aug, I am getting
money back.

LICHFL Lajpat Nagar II, the worst choice for HomeLoan

I am filing this piece of text just to let the people, who are thinking of

applying for housing loan from LIC Housing Finance, know the

shocking reality about the racket working under the mask of LICHFL(Ist Floor, K-59, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi-24).

My friend Mr Sebastiane who had applied for a housing loan from LICHFL Lajpat Nagar 2 on 16th of September 2012. The LICHFL executives, Mr Vikas ([protected]) and Mr Praveen ([protected]), collected the application form with supporting documents on 16th itself. After that the process of enquiry (both at his house and office) and all done as usual. There were no calls or anything from their end after that. When Sebastiane called them and asked the status of loan, they asked for more documents. Every time he called them, they repeated the same (more document). 40

days passed like that. Whenever we contact them, we got the reply "It's done, you

will get the approval today evening/tomorrow evening, the officer is

hospitalised, my dadaji hospitalised so i could not collect the paper" etc. At

last one day we visited their office at Lajpat nagar-2. There we got the shocking

response from their end. Again they started the old drama, asking for documents,

We need this paper that paper etc. Even after submitting all the documents they

asked for, they started on reducing the loan amount From 20 Lacs to 12.5 Lacs.

At last the day came, the executives Vikas and Praveen came Sebastiane's home

with lots of documents along with approval letter. Sebastiane signed All the

documents, Gave them Rs 5000 as their personal charge along with signed cheques

along with a Rs 12, 000/- cheque on favour of LICHFL. They assured us that the

Loan cheque would be ready in 2 days. That 2 days extended to 2 weeks. This time

they came with another drama. They said Sebastiane should close on of his

personal loan which deducts an EMI of 4300/month from his account.

In short, they have taken our quality 75 days and put us in a real hell. Atlast

we took back all the documents and cheques given and said Good bye to LICHFL. We

lost plenty of time, around 17-20 thousand Rupees, and peace for sometime.

So friends, if you thinking of applying for Housing loan, please Keep away from

LICHFL.

By doing such things with 10 cutomers in a month, LICHFL (Officers) can earn more than 1.2 Lacs without paying a penny.

      I have been receiving calls from my agent and Branch managers of LIC and receiving literature showing 30 to 40% p.a. returns on Market plus plan of LIC. They are asking me to take loan on my son's policies and invest the same in LIC's Market Plus. I will receive 75, 000 excess without investing a single rupee from pocket. They are also claiming that this plan is closing on 31st march 2008. Last time during some other plan I was told that any insurance company can only inform 3 days in advance before shutting the plan, rules of IRDA. Have they bypassed the same?
      Now I receive this from a friend as stated below which are the hard facts of the mis-selling being done by LIC. Please check the same and try to save innocent investors who have faith in LIC and have voted it the Best Service brand for the last 2 years.


      Small Investor Beware
      Read before you invest in Market Plus

      • Why Market Plus is closing?
      The reason given by LIC of India is that the fund size has become too big to manage. If this is the reason then why invest in already unmanageable fund at higher NAV, when the better scheme will be available at Rs-10/- after few days.

      • LIC claims that Market Plus is the best Investment Scheme!
      But Market Plus(MPlus) is not the investment scheme, it is a Pension Plan. If it is projected as Investment Scheme, then we must compare it with Mutual Fund (MF).
      • On the very first day of your investment you will loose 3.30% in case of single premium and 16.50% in case of annual premium towards allocation charges in MPlus as there are no allocation charges in MF if invested directly.
      • MFs are managed by professional Fund Managers who are accountable for Fund performance against benchmark index( e.g. sensex, nifty etc), However for ULIPs there is no benchmark index for comparisons.

      • Performance of Market Plus as compared with Sensex and Nifty:
      BSE Sensex NSE Nifty Market Plus NAV
      As on 05/07/2006 10919 3197 10.00
      As on 29/02/2008 17578 5223 12.50
      Compounded Annual Growth 28.92% 29.76% 13.44%

      Growth in NAV doesn’t reflect the returns on your investment. The Actual returns on investment will be as given below:
      e.g; Rs-10, 000/- invested in MPlus in July 2006 @ Rs-10/- in single premium.
      Total Units allotted: 967 (33 units deducted for allocation charges)
      Current NAV in March 2008 i.e. after 20 months is Rs-12.50
      The Total Fund value will be 967X12.50 = Rs- 12, 087
      Amount deducted for charges = Rs- 1, 168
      Balance Payable = Rs- 10, 919 i.e. IRR of 5.28% only.

      • Beware of agents showing projected returns higher then 10%:
      IRDA has made it mandatory to show projected returns @ 6% and 10% only and asked all the Life Insurance companies to get the benefit illustration signed by proposers giving all the details of expenses etc which will form part of the policy document. This is done to insure that no mis-selling takes place.
      Make sure to sign the benefit illustration as per your specifications only.

      • Returns under ULIPs are not Guaranteed:
      Even the projected returns @6% and 10% are not guaranteed. The entire investment risk is yours. Even Government Sovereign Guarantee under section 37 of LIC ACT, 1956 is not applicable for ULIPs.
      As per economic survey report 2007-08, the Indian Markets were most expensive and more volatile then global markets. The government also said that any slowdown in the excess capital flows from last year's high levels could affect the stock market in short-term.
      IF you find any agent showing projected returns more than 10%, then please report to us. We will take up the matter with appropriate authority and initiate action against that agent.

      I am holding a policy No[protected] Dt[protected] with Agra branch of LIC. I got transfer to Bangalore and paid my police premium of year 2003 at your Vijay Nagar branch -61X in Bangalore, and also I paid the same for the year 2004 at the same branch but when I visited to handover the cheque at cash counter I have been asked to collect the receipt later because server was down. When I visited next day to collect the same, the Branch manager informed me that the officer you handover the cheque is on leave today, since today is the last day to pay your police premium so please issue another cheque and collect your other cheque next day.

      After that I visited two times but I have been told that the Officer is still on leave. To safeguard my money from any fraud I withdrawal all the money from my ICICI bank account No[protected] on 02/03/2004 by leaving amount equal to my police premium. My Bank paid amount 4502 for cheque no-978213 on dated 03/03/2004 and returned the cheque no- 978210 on dated 10/03/2004.later I came to know that the officer started a new policy using my other cheque. I asked the Branch Manager to take action but he refused to listen to me.

      When I visited to pay my police premium for the year 2005 at Vijay nagar Branch I have been told that Agra branch has not shifted FUP for your police and we can’t do anything, when I requested the Branch Manager and shown him my Bank account Statement he asked me to come later, I visited your Vijay nagar branch more than 20 times with a request to update my police and collect the premium but always I received replay that Agra branch is not responding and staff in Agra branch is not working at all better you contact Agra branch only.       My brother-in-law, Late Nirakar Mohanty of Orissa was expired on 1st November, 2001. He has two LIC Policies bearing No.[protected] &[protected] and he premiums are paid by District Inspector of Schools, Hatadihi, District-Keonjhar (Orissa)through G.I.A-609 State Plan Aided M.E.School Teachers.       I am a agent of L.I.C . I have got lic agency in month of march08. I v appointed in jhotwara branch (15S) of jaipur division .my agency code is 11851 till today I have done 56 policies for lic .

      Regarding these policies in month of nov 08 my bonus should be approx.. 20000/- But I didn’t got it so I complained it to officer of lic Mr. Mahendra Sen (asst. sales officer) but he beheaved with me very rudely and said I am not liable for that .

      Respected Sir,
      I have taken LIC of India Market Plus One Life Insurance Policy on[protected] from SMC Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., M-21, Sector-14, Gurgaon -Haryana. Advisor is Mr. Rahul (Mobile No. [protected]).
      But till date I could not recieved my Policy document.I have been contineously following my advisor as well as co.'s Branch Manager Mr. Atul (mobile no. [protected], Phone no.[protected]. They were always procastinating the matter by saying that your Document would come within a week. And now a days they are not responding to calls, they do not recieve phone calls.

      I therefore request you to look into the matter and help me out. As I am worried about the mis-use of my fund {cheque no.509175, Amt Rs.15000=00, ICICI Bank, Sohna (HR)} paid to the Policy.

      i had taken a plan of market plus in LIC with F.D of 25000/- as our agent who is with us since 15 yrs, she says that if you invest in market plus scheme after three yrs it double your amount, so as she say fixed the amount 25000/- on 11/12/2006 and now after 3 yrs when we are withdrawing it from the scheme we get the status that you only get Rs.26000/- instead of 50000/- what she says while investing.       The LIC mutual fund nav is not updated since 13 march 2011. This affects hugely on my financitial plannings. As a policy holder I expect LIC to update their NAV details daily in their web site.

      I got a phone call on 4th or 5th March 2014 afternoon from LIC New Delhi who quoted my name and residential address. She told me that money against my "money back" policy was lying with LIC since 1998 and would be confiscated since I had not claimed it. She wanted me to give her my Policy details (number, premium amount, start date) for verification. I asked her name which she said was Anjali Sharma. I said it would take me time to look for the document and would call her back. She said she was from a Call Centre and there was no incoming call facility so she would wait till I found the details. I am a senior citizen with no current life policy but only Jeevan Dhara, I gave her the JD details. She gave me a File No. IR/72/51 which I must quote when I speak to her Senior who would come on the line next.

      One Ankur Mishra came on the line after that and verified the File No. IR/72/51 and told me that a Bonus of Rs.150, 720/- was due to me towards my 2 JD policies and my Agent had been informed and should have told me. I don't remember who the agent was for the JD Policies but the only agent I remembered had died about 2 years ago. He said LIC would send 30% of the amount to the agent, some more %age would go towards processing and other charges and I would get about Rs.30, 000/- only as my Bonus. Ankur Mishra then asked me if I had any type of Birla Sun Life insurance cover. I said I didn't. He then tried to tell me about Birla Sun Life. I told him I was not interested in Birla Sun Life. He said he would need to speak to his "Senior" and to hold on.

      I told him all these details were too much for me to understand and to send me all the information in writing so that I could read and understand it. He said it would reach me within a week. It is not yet a week so, if this is a genuine call, the informatoin may still reach me.

      I have been thinking about this and wonder if it is a genuine LIC initiative or is it a hoax?

        SUBJECT: COMPLAINT OF LIC OFFICIALS FOR CARELESS.
        Respected Sir,
        I have an Insurance policy whose policy No. is[protected], issuing branch code is 318, Agency code is 00515318 and date of commencement is 28/8/1999.
        The service branch issue a cheque no. 0455249 dated 28/8/2007 of Rs. 10000 in favour of me in c/w S/B due on 18/8/2007 but I didn’t get the cheque till date.
        So please, I request you to find out the guilty official of LIC NARNAUL Branch (Haryana) who didn’t send the cheque to me and misplaced it anywhere. Take necessary disciplinary action against the careless employee along with Branch Manager, NARNAUL. I also request to issue me a fresh cheque of Rs. 10000 Plus Interest @18% and charged the interest from person who makes fault.

          Dear Sir,

          I am Prof. Aluru Subhas Babu, father of Dr. Aluru Venkata Narayana Rao, a resident o[censored]SA. I am legally authorised by my son to represent the matter.

          My Son Aluru Venkata Narayana Rao took two policies from LIC of India

          1.[protected] dated[protected]
          2.[protected] dated[protected]

          We are very regular in paying the premiums since then. My son Aluru Venkata Narayana Rao did his higher education of M.S., and Ph.Ds in USA and presently working as a Professor in University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign in USA.

          My son took American Citizenship in July, 2007. His name as per all the records is Aluru Venkata Narayana Rao. While taking the citizenship he deleted Venkata from his name for his personal and administrative convenience. This has been approved by the United States District Court Central District of Illinois.

          My son has represented to the Sr.Manager, LIC, Vijayawada alongwith notarised copies of court's approval and Indian and American Passports on[protected]. He received a reply after more than two months stating that the competent authority did not acceed to the request regarding change in name.[protected]

          Here the question arises whether your Branch Managers or Divisional Managers are vested powers to over rule the decisions of the courts and the Govt. of India (see the enclosed documents). I am afraid this was simply rejected without taking to the notice of the proper authorities. They should have obtained directions either from Zonal office or Central Office.. Hence we have decided to bring this matter to your notice before submitting the same to Ombudsman. I have tried to contact the District Manager thrice but in vein.

          All the relevant copies are forwarded for your perusal as an attachment to this letter.

            Sir/Madam,

            With due respect, I would like to draw your shining attention regarding some unnecessary slow down processing of LIC especially in Branch level. In this connection, I want to offer myself as an appropriate example before you that I am a Policy Holder Policy No.[protected] from your Buxar (Bihar) Branch No. 502. Under this Policy I got bonus cheque No. 019602 dated 19.02.2007 for amounting Rs. 12,500.00 from LIC Buxar by authorized LIC Agent in about Feb-07 and deposited the same with UCO Bank New Delhi dated 23.03.2007 in my SB Account No. 21831. which supposed to be credited in my account within month. But after the month when I tried to withdraw the amount than bank authority told the story that the bank sent the cheque for collection to Allahabad Bank, but unfortunately the cheque lost in transit by the courier. In this respect UCO Bank assured and gave me a letter dated 26.09.2007 in favour of Branch Manager LIC Buxar Branch to issue duplicate cheque in the favour of me (Raju Kumar). The same Bank request letter has been given to LIC Branch Buxar dated 15.11.2007 for issuance of duplicity cheque. But sorry to say that after passing more ten months neither received duplicate cheque nor any positive response regarding till yet. Although I have many time approached verbal and telephonic in concerned Branch Authority but nothing result came out except vacant assurance.

            I surprised in view of casual approach of Branch level LIC employees and feel how will survive in near future in to much exploring competition in insurance sector. It is thoughtful matter not only for LIC top Management but also in lower level.

            It is very clear that I am lower level employee of private sector so such amount is much valuable for me. At this situation after knocking every concerned door I am hopeless and feel lost of cheque lost my fortune. My intention is very clear neither I balm nor complain.
            It is therefore, you are requested to please look into the matter and instructed concerned people to issue a duplicate cheque in favour of me.

              AS A INDIAN WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU LIC SEEMS TO BE BANKRUPT THEIR CHEQUE OF RS. 300 IS GETTING BOUNCED AND NOT ONLY THIS THEY ARE NOT SINCE AUGUST 2007 THEY ARE NOT SENDING ANYMORE CHEQUES.

              WE HAVE CONTACT SEVERAL SUPERIORS OF LIC UNTIL TODAY THEY ARE NOT REPLYING TO US.

              KINDLY MAKE SURE BEFORE INVESTING WITH LIC, GOVT IS PLAYING GAMES.

              WE HAVE MANY POLICY MATURED WITH LIC AND THEY ARE NOT READY TO PAY US. SO PLEASE DONT INVEST IN LIC.

              I have policy with LIC Jeevan dhara annuitypension and I used to deposit Rs.852/- everymonth cheques(PDCs) receivd from LIC.Chennai.

              But the last two to htree cheques were got bounced. It is shameful on the part of LIC returning cheques. My complaint over telephone with many including srinivsasn of LIC chennai took no help. What shall I do. Shall I approach an advocate and resolve the issue with LIC?
              Lic is delivering post dated cheques before the maturity of policy when receiving the policy bond and forms from the party.
              Tell us your policy number and branch.
              Don't tell in common.
              Tell particular with the details of policy e.t.c.

              i purhased a BAJAJ XCD125 bike from PUSPA AUTO SALES (P) LTD. at LUCKNOW U.P. before one month i go for servicing my bike when service completed i check my bike and fault in digital tachometer meant the meter do not display kms. and fuel meter /when i said to mechanic meter why not works while i come in workshop meter was in right condition /serv. advisor said i do ok after 3days /but do not respond me /i have been went again and again in his workshop. pl. action (my bike reg. no.                 I had two policies in my name [protected] and[protected]. one of the policy had since been surrendered. the second one had been submitted to their branch at meerut, sadar bazar t o avail a loan of rs 50000 in the month of oct-nov 2007.i had requested for tr of the policy to their office at sec'bad ( AP ) . it is however steated by their office at sec'bad that the policy in question is taken of the record in the intranet. i am worried . Lic MUST CLARIFY.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I have taken a 15 year loan from LIC Hsng Finance in Jan 2007 for Rs 27,00,000. I was told by their representative Ms Hemlata Suvarna that since yours is an exhibition case, you will be eligible for a concessional rate of interest of 9.25% for a floating rate. However, in Aug 2007, I got a letter from LIC Hsng that the rates have been increased to 10.75% and my number of EMI's will go up from 180 to around 250. I wanted to ask that can a housing finance company increase rates in shot by 150 basis points for a customer who was promised a concessional rate? If their PLR had increased by 25 basis points, I should have been charged 9.50% and not 10.75%. What was the point in alluring me with a concessional rate initially and then jacking it up so steeply.

                    You can complain the National Housing Bank which happens to be the nodal agency for the housing finance sector.Infact the general attitude of LICHF is not customer friendly. In my case also after giving the offer letter of 7.75 lakhs they have disbursed only 6.40 lakhs saying that my case is a high risk one. I am planning to approach either NHB or consumer court.
                    i had applied loan for Rs 500000/ . last week i got message from ranchi that it has approved for 20 yrs with interest rate 11.25%. why it is? but in site rate of of interest is 9.25% floating.
                    This new rate will be applied on new customer whose loan has been approved..

                    Agree with you Mitish; they have 'Festive' schemes like 'Griha XXXX' etc using which they cheat people in a hurry to buy the house.

                    Even I have been cheated by LICHFL having lured by 9.25%, promised 9.50 at approval and charged 10% at loan disbursal!!! My only weak oint was I wanted to buy the apartment in a hurry and was involved in lots of imp. activities at that point in time.

                    I think we all customers that have been cheated by LICHFL should unite and pull them to consumer court. I think they are worse than HDFC / ICICI because the latter charge higher rates, but at least they are transparent to the customer; not cheaters like LICHFL

However when i got the communication from the LIC HFL, the interest rate shot up to 10.25% instead of 9% (which i was expecting). LIC HFL site also says that the interest is slashed for exisiting customers.
                    When i enquired this with the loan representative and the area manager, they are re-directing me to multiple places instead of trying to help me to understand the sudden rise.
                    We all should unite against LICHFL and take strict action against them. Otherwise they would think that we cannot take any action.
                    I would urge all who had taken loan from LICHFL to participate in this forum and take it with the right people to resolve our issues.
                    I don't think we do the legal here as they LIC is smar enought the "Legally" Cheat the consumers.

                    I am planning to go for LIC housing loan from my existing Citibank, i have been offered at 8.75% intrest rate and have been told it will be reduced further.I also heard from others it is just for 3 months.Should i go for the loan with LIC housing loan or stay with Citibank.i have one loan for 16.5 lakhs for which i am paying intrest at 11% and another top up of 14%, i would be paying forclosure charges of 2% on my housing loan and 4% on top up loan, is it still worth while going for LICHL considering they might move up to 10.5% after 3 months??

                    Even i have been cheated, I took over home loan from IDBI to LICHF, initially they gave me at 8.5%, then after 3 months without any notice they raised to 10% saying that every 3 months RBI fix new rate. It is not a robbery. We should do some thing for them.
                    lic housing finance is a big cheater. they cheat in everything starting from loan processing fees, PLR, spread to repayments. lic agents gives all false promises at the time of applying for loan and when loan is approved some different things are put in loan approval letter. lic agents just want to make money and lic is not bothered to entertained customers complaints later. so i would like you request you all please dont go for lic housing finance loan and also discourage your friends to go for home loans from housing finance.

                    Please don't go for LIC housing finance. very poor service, their interest rate much higher comparing with others.(much different between internal customers as well) They have increased my interest rate 10% to 13.75% in three months, my personal loan interest only 12%. while calling my agent he is not picking my call. i called to branch they said, they are don't know anything about that we just saying what we have. they also said close the account if you not satisfied.

                    I have a very bad experience with LIC Housing Finance Ltd. especially their customer service is far from satisfactory. They lack transperency and charges high rate of interest without consonance with the BPS points. They do not even bother to communicate the change in interest rates to the customer and very casually replies that they already send a courier which I never received. They also clandestinely increase the number of years without our consent. They are doing an unethical business. Even if you pay part payment, they dont provide the new EMI or send the refixed EMI later. Their phone numbers are always unattended and they do not have the facility to contact the customers through email. Very poor service and the rate of interest so higgghhh without any base. Even If i send any mail to their given email ID no response. I plan to drag them to the consumer court. Please advice me.

                      i have 5 policies of this company 3-8 years old. being in ARMY we are constantly on the move like the Gujjars.

                            I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST UTI BANK CREDIT CARD OFFICER THAT NOT TRANSFER ANY PAYMET TO ALLIANCE BAJAJ FOR ANY POLICY AS I HAVE NOT GIVEN CONFIRMATION TO THEM TO START THE POLICY.

                            LIC site is pathetic. Online premium payments are not at all reliable. I've paid premium couple of times. All the time it got timed out and didnt generate bill. But money got deducted correctly from my bank account. When I sent mail to grievance cell, they are not responding. I'll not join on any policies in LIC anymore.
                            Yes i agree, now we can see how govt. machinery is functioning.
                            I am trying to access this web from last 1 month but fail to do so.
                            I can't trust this web site and loosing my trust in LIC too.

                            2) I have not received the money back of Rs5000/- since Yr 2005.

                            I have a policy (Money Back) bearing no.[protected] which started in March'88 for 20 years and due for matuaration in this month. This is a salary saving policy for which always the amount of premium were deducted from the salary and sent to the particular branch. But unfortunately a few premiums were not deposited in time by the salary deducting authority in the year 2001 and 2002 though it was deducted from the salary bill. However, the same was materialised after depositing the money by the policy holder with interest in September'05.
                            The policy holder's money back was due in March'2003 which was not released due to the nonclearance of above stated dues. However, the LIC personnels stated that the said money back amount will be realeased within the same month i.e. in September'05 when the dues was deposited with interest by the holder.
                            However, the true fact is this : the money was released on 6th March'08 (delay of almost 2 and 1/2 years) for which practically there was no reply from the officials.
                            May I have the opportunity to know why I will be deprived to get the interest @ 11.5% (As LICHFL is taking from loanee)on the money back amount for the delayed payment while the department is claiming interest as and when the policy holder delays and whether it will not be appropriate to go to the Consumer Forum for this harrasment?
                            Please reply early.

                            Friends, i am an insurance agent with LIC & would like to inform you the following things:

                            1. LIC site is under repair for some time now & will be back in function soon. For the time being, if you have to get your premium payment certificate, you can send a written request to your respective LIC branch where from you were issued the policy or you can contact ur respective agent in case he/she is in contact with you. If you need any particular format you can mail me at bahuguna.[protected]@gmail.com. For all the payments maid through internet from anywhere, payment receipts are issued through a centralized place (in mumbai). So, you will receive your respective receipts through that channel but for the time being for i-t purpose, you can send request to the branch.

                            2. The cheques issued by LIC clearly mention that they are "valid for 3 months" & if you cross the deadline, you will have to go for the fresh one.

                            3. Those people who are having any problems relating to their policy servicing, like not getting premium intimations on time or not able to know their status, plz register your policies with me, i will provide you the following services:

                            Self has got similar Policies with ICICI Pru, Bajaj Allianz but there is no problem there and the response for any grievance is overwheming,

                            This is customer delight.

                            LIC has to pull up its socks to be more competitive and be Customer friendly ...

                            This is the Problem with the Govt Insurance companies.

                            link is fail you have to wait, I have waited another 15 minutes & after lots of request to other customer I again deposit the money the cashier again saying link is failure but surpringly one Bhadrak branch policy amount deposited, cashier is saying as this out of station Branch so it is taking time & he refuse to accept the amount.

                            Then I move to higer authority Asis Kr pal who said ABM -Sales rather helping me he told me why do not u deposit the amont through "AXIS Bank".
                            Other person come Named Mr.Ashok Kr Patra he said him self Branch Manager, he is declairing the statement customer like me sgould not opt lic & do whatever I can.

                            I am really stunned this is the way the employee of LIC harrases customer, if in the time of depositing money this kind of harrasment I faced then what will be in claiming the money.
                            Request to GM of LIC pls take the issue seriously to take proper action & kindly educate the employee of customer handling soft skills & punctuality.

                            Mean while I relocated to some other place. Therefore not getting any mails or communications from LIC since than.

                            Subject: Immediate withdrawal of all policies prematurely-reg.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

                            This is to inform that I have been a regular subscriber of LIC, Port Blair branch (Br. No. 429) since 2000 and accordingly inventing in various plans. This March a sum of Rs. Twenty Thousands only (Rs. 20000/-) has been due against ‘money back’ skim in respect to “Jeevan Surabhi” (T-T 108-25 & No.[protected] policy. I am sorry to express my annoyance that till date I have not been received the same yet either directly or through my agent from the local LIC authority.

                            In continuation, I also would like to inform my awful experience in regard to the same. During my tour to Calcutta in March, 2008; in connection with a National Conference on “Abnormal Haemoglobin Disorders in Human”; I received a call from Mr. Dhruti Sundar Jana (Mob. [protected]/[protected], claimed himself as ‘Authorized Financial Consultant, LIC, Port Blair’, informing that my ‘money back’ is already due and that would be sent to me as soon as I would resume duty at Port Blair. It was first week of April, when Mr. Jana personally met me at my office (Anthropological Survey of India) and proposed for re-investment of that ‘money-back’ amount into Market Plus scheme. However, I declined his proposal, as I do usually invest in twice - September and February; through one very particular agent. The same also conveyed to my agent and on inquiry it was known that my cheque has collected by some other agent. Telephonically this was informed to the local authority of LIC, Port Blair but the reply was inappropriate to his position rather skeptical. In May, an unknown boy of an age 20-22 appeared to my DNA-Laboratory, Port Blair carrying a cheque of that value and requested to receive the same. On inquiry, it came to know that boy is an employee of a local civil contractor and pre-instructed to handover the cheque. I readily refused him, as I am not intended to receive cheque from any person except my agent. However, I asked that boy to meet his employer with me immediately. Unfortunately that person (who sent the cheque) not appeared till date, which was inevitable. Simultaneously, the local authority of LIC, Port Blair is keeping mum on the issue. Meanwhile, I understood from various reliable sources that the cheque was collected by many agents(!) and returned undelivered to LIC office on several occasions since May, 2008. In this connection, I also would like to inform that the same also happened with two of my colleagues also, even with many persons at Port Blair.

                            I always preferred LIC for any possible investment, because of its’ half a century old traditions and reputations in the arena of ‘Life Insurance’. However, our recent experience fails to differentiate between Life Insurance Corporation of India and other Chit Funds. Moreover, the local authority is indifferent towards investors’ security. During the courses of time, I tried to analysis that incidence very critically and could not found any satisfactory reasons for delaying the matter. These are still astonishing- (a) how did Mr. Jana (the authorized financial consultant!!! and unknown to me) get my contact (mobile) number? (b) if hypothetically the source is office record -sharing personal information with some other person who is not the actual agent of subscriber seems to violation of privacy of subscriber. (c) Why did the LIC, Port Blair avoid to entrust the same to the concerned agent? (d) Is any agent allowed to collect subscribers’ cheque bypassing the concerned agent? (e) What circumstance another person was allowed to deliver a cheque while one was failed to do so? (f) What were the specific reasons for undelivered cases for several attempts, that too in a small township of Port Blair? (g) How long that could be in practice on trial and error basis? (h) What were the specific reasons for non-availing of Postal /courier services? (j) How did recurrences o[censored]ndisbursed cases followed-up at management level? (j) What were the initiatives taken from managerial level since disbursement of a cheque that too within a distance of mere 300 mts. could not possible for almost five months? (k) Why did the concerned agent not asked for intervening into the pending case? (l) What made this case keep neglected for a prolonged period- overcastting illicit elements on management level or inabilities in making decisions at local level? (m) Does this incidence not enough to establish the incompetence and irresponsibility at managerial level? And for your kind information there are sizeable incidences happened in A&N Islands this year.

                            Yes, I could ensure that LIC, Port Blair only could make cock and bull stories in support of their mischievous attitudes towards customer rather reply satisfactorily.                             Dear Sir/Madam,

                            This is to inform that I have been a regular subscriber of LIC, Port Blair branch (Br. No. 429) since 2000 and accordingly inventing in various plans. This March a sum of Rs. Twenty Thousands only (Rs. 20000/-) has been due against ‘money back’ skim in respect to “Jeevan Surabhi” (T-T 108-25 & No.[protected] policy. I am sorry to express my annoyance that till date I have not been received the same yet either directly or through my agent from the local LIC authority.

                            In continuation, I also would like to inform my awful experience in regard to the same. During my tour to Calcutta in March, 2008; in connection with a National Conference on “Abnormal Haemoglobin Disorders in Human”; I received a call from Mr. Dhruti Sundar Jana (Mob. [protected]/[protected], claimed himself as ‘Authorized Financial Consultant, LIC, Port Blair’, informing that my ‘money back’ is already due and that would be sent to me as soon as I would resume duty at Port Blair. It was first week of April, when Mr. Jana personally met me at my office (Anthropological Survey of India) and proposed for re-investment of that ‘money-back’ amount into Market Plus scheme. However, I declined his proposal, as I do usually invest in twice - September and February; through one very particular agent. The same also conveyed to my agent and on inquiry it was known that my cheque has collected by some other agent. Telephonically this was informed to the local authority of LIC, Port Blair but the reply was inappropriate to his position rather skeptical. In May, an unknown boy of an age 20-22 appeared to my DNA-Laboratory, Port Blair carrying a cheque of that value and requested to receive the same. On inquiry, it came to know that boy is an employee of a local civil contractor and pre-instructed to handover the cheque. I readily refused him, as I am not intended to receive cheque from any person except my agent. However, I asked that boy to meet his employer with me immediately. Unfortunately that person (who sent the cheque) not appeared till date, which was inevitable. Simultaneously, the local authority of LIC, Port Blair is keeping mum on the issue. Meanwhile, I understood from various reliable sources that the cheque was collected by many agents(!) and returned undelivered to LIC office on several occasions since May, 2008. In this connection, I also would like to inform that the same also happened with two of my colleagues also, even with many persons at Port Blair.

                            I always preferred LIC for any possible investment, because of its’ half a century old traditions and reputations in the arena of ‘Life Insurance’. However, our recent experience fails to differentiate between Life Insurance Corporation of India and other Chit Funds. Moreover, the local authority is indifferent towards investors’ security. During the courses of time, I tried to analysis that incidence very critically and could not found any satisfactory reasons for delaying the matter. These are still astonishing- (a) how did Mr. Jana (the authorized financial consultant!!! and unknown to me) get my contact (mobile) number? (b) if hypothetically the source is office record -sharing personal information with some other person who is not the actual agent of subscriber seems to violation of privacy of subscriber. (c) Why did the LIC, Port Blair avoid to entrust the same to the concerned agent? (d) Is any agent allowed to collect subscribers’ cheque bypassing the concerned agent? (e) What circumstance another person was allowed to deliver a cheque while one was failed to do so? (f) What were the specific reasons for undelivered cases for several attempts, that too in a small township of Port Blair? (g) How long that could be in practice on trial and error basis? (h) What were the specific reasons for non-availing of Postal /courier services? (j) How did recurrences o[censored]ndisbursed cases followed-up at management level? (j) What were the initiatives taken from managerial level since disbursement of a cheque that too within a distance of mere 300 mts. could not possible for almost five months? (k) Why did the concerned agent not asked for intervening into the pending case? (l) What made this case keep neglected for a prolonged period- overcastting illicit elements on management level or inabilities in making decisions at local level? (m) Does this incidence not enough to establish the incompetence and irresponsibility at managerial level? And for your kind information there are sizeable incidences happened in A&N Islands this year.

                            Yes, I could ensure that LIC, Port Blair only could make cock and bull stories in support of their mischievous attitudes towards customer rather reply satisfactorily.                             I am holding a Pension Policy No[protected] at your Dist Branch Office Allahabad. The policy has taken from Allhabad and subsequently I had been transferred to Bhopal MP State. The policy matured and the 1st instalment of pension was due on 05.05.2008. After a great persuation both by letter and telephone yesterday I got a cheque dated 11.09.2008 equivalant to the amount of the 25% of the sum assured which I was not asked for that too a local cheque at Allahabad sent to me at Bhopal.Kindly clarify the following:
                            1. Why commutation amount has been sent to me with out my option,
                            2.Why it took 4 long months to settle this claim despite of submitting all the documents,
                            3.What was the logic of sending the local Allhabad cheque to Bhopal? You want me to spent some more amount on clearing charges and wait for another one month for getting the cheque cleared?

                              My policy no.[protected] is assign to Union bank of india, kota (Money back), its money back amount was due on feb, 2008 Rs 5000/-, but they had not sent cheque/ any information to union bank/my self, In dec 2009 I went to LIC office kota, then they prepare cheque no.328521 dt 18/12/2009 but still they did not send, again I follow up on 22 feb 2010, they gave me cheque by hand Rs 5000, In this period between feb 2008 to feb 2010 i should get interest but they did not give me. who will be responsible for interest amount, when i will get.

                                I have taken a new policy from LIC from an agent of Ahmedabad but had to move with my wife to Gurgaon due to new job. Now it is required to do a medical check and LIC is not able to help me in this regard. No doctor details. My money is off my account. All bogus numbers on the website (try it your self). I am completely pissed by the service but they have my money and I am completey shocked to see LIC of india in such pathetic condition. Can you help me?

                                I want to Do Medical claim, so plz solve d my problem
                                I have chosen LIC Amulya Jeevan policy for 25 lakhs. Pure term insurance cover for 35 years. When i did my blood medical checkup my fasting blood sugar was 110 which according to the range 70-110 is on the upper limit.

                                We got suspicious and then had a recheck up of the complete package. So now the report showed fasting blood sugar at 84, while LDL cholestrol in blood level was 94 instead of 100 (lower level). pH in urine was also lower than normal as suggested.

                                Due to this the Underwriter states that either i shall pay 2700 per year extra or the policy will be dissolved. I think these are minor shifts in body which might have taken place since i travel for over a week to North India and had a hectic night before the test. Is there anyway that i can get the poilicy in normal terms and normal premium.
                                LIC is not willing to serve Jeeven Ananad. As it is only interested in making big amount and returning a small to insurer.

                                It has only [products with high insurance premium and low coverage. only helpful for its agent. Think twice and compare at least once with other insurance company. If others are not given chance than how they will prove that LIC is not best.

                                    Last week I paid my premium through the www.licindia.com/ web site. After that when I am trying to get my duplicate receipt, I could not get. Though Acrobat Reader version 7.x is installed in my system it showing the empty new window. But it showing my receipt number PR[protected]. Regarding this I want to send the email to [protected]@licindia.com but no reply. So I decided to register the complaint through call center, I used the numbers which is given in the site 28602626 and 28602629 for Chennai both are currently not usable.
                                    A most reputed company in India is giving services to their customers in this way only. Then how we can trust these type of companies ????.

                                    yes, the site is not working from last few weeks. i tried a lot but very slow performance @ my office. it will def. will not work with broadband and surely not with dialup.

                                    at the yearend when people try to pull out investment proofs , this site should be functional but as of now its pathetic...
                                    The site is not working for past 3 days. First I thought, there is some problem during daytime when server is busy. But now when I am trying from home at 10.30 PM, even home page is not opening. My premium is due this month, I am not sure what to do since Online Payment is not accessible. Is anyone working on the problems in the website ? It's high time they too some corrective actions with respect to online services.
                                    I am trying to download the premium payment statement for past one week. Even the home page is not opening. It seems that no one from LIC management is looking into this problem. Very pathetic.
                                    Yes. It is pathetic. It proves that Government Enterprise companies won’t much care about customer services. And nobody would be there to take responsibility for this. I think it is due to old aged people in their computer departments. If it would have been private sector, they would be fired by this time for not their technologies up and running for such a long time.
                                    The LIC India website is not working, this is ridiculous, even they have not given any notice to the customers, the management is whole and sole responsible for this. Even they have not inform the customers all over India.

I surprised that where my policies have gone. I registered a complaint but their is no reply. God know what these people are doing. I think there is no responsible person in LIC for looking these issues or the site is just a dummy for showing other companies that LIC also have a website.

I have received second servival benefit of Rs 15, 000 in March 2008, but I have not yet received first servival benefit of Rs 10, 000 which was suppose to be pay in feb 2004. On enquary @ Raichur LIC branch, were I am employing, I have been told that, my file was not yet received at Raichur on transfer from Bangalore to Raichur. I have corresponderd so many letter to Residency Road Bangalore LIC branch office in this regard, but went in vein. Not only myself but also the concerner officer in Raichur LIC branch also sent E-mail to the Residency road LIC branch on several occations, but my file is yet to be receive @ Raichur LIC branch. It is surprise to notice that, eventhough the communication is made form the concerned officer of the organisation & the responding officer is yet to act.

                                    I've been paying all my LIC polisy premiums online since last year. I've not faced even a single problem since then. Just one time, I was able to view the due premium against my policy. At that time I had jest sent a mail on Pune Divission mail ID ([protected]@licindia.com). I received a call on the next day and the problem was solved.

                                    I don't know how you all are facing these problems. My friends also told me that they are facing some problems while accessing the site. There may be some problem in the network.

                                    But I agree that the Customer Care Service of LIC is worst.

Once the payment is confirmed, the digitally signed premium receipt is generated and sent to my mail id that is registered with www.licindia.com. You can either use your mail or can use to download from the LIC website to get the premium receipt. Both are working fine, the site is comparatively faster than last year (i.e.[protected]. Good luck for next time.

                                    I am having two policies in the name of Piyush Kansal –[protected] for quarterly Premium Rs. 1149/- and policy no.:[protected] in the name of my wife Anchal Kansal for quarterly premium of Rs. 1141/-.



                                    In the year 2007 November 26, I had paid my premium through axis bank cheque into axis bank Gurgaon (HR) branch at Seco-29, Sctror-25, Gurgaon for Rs. 2290/-, but on 23.01.2009 LIC has reversed my premium by saying my cheque was bounced from bank, immediately without any delay I paid my both the premium against through axis bank net banking with a fine of Rs. 15/- each as late payment charges to LIC.



                                    After this payment I contacted my branch to ask why my cheque returned unpaid, but they informed me that that cheque was paid well on time. I again contact my branch -11B as well telephone support and write letter to LIC PCMC cell and branch to return my excess payment to me with interest, but my own branch fail to get any reply from their systems of operations.



                                    After a very long conversation with my bank and LIC offices, on 07.05.2008, I got one mail through LIC office 11B, from CBK1, (Premium collecting branch through net or bank payments) that they are having excess payment against both of my policies,



                                    But till date i.e. 11.03.2009, I am not able to get my premium/ amount bank in the form of cheque or direct credit in to my policies. I am paying my premium to LIC with a faith that I will get my amount whenever I actually required that same for me or my family.



                                    LIC Branch office 11B is not listening anything and the need amount in the form of cheque and CBK! And CRM branch telling the are not able to update my policy at their end, and I am the sufferer.



                                    If this kind of an insurance office of the Government Company deals with customers who can we believe that after me my family get secured through my Life Insurance Policies.

                                    Not receiving the Money for the Policy No.[protected] – (Jeevan Surabhi money back policy) which was supposed to be issued in October 2008.
                                    Many times phoned to the branch, and send mail also.
                                    They are telling already send the cheque.
                                    Last week also i send my representative, they told again we will send the new cheque freshly,
                                    but still we did not receive the cheque.

                                    Two of my policies have expired and I have received the final payment also however, inspite of several reminders I have not received the final statement.It is necessary because the calculation appears to be wrong.
                                    it is ridiculous not to get any response from such a big Govt. undertaking.

                                    It's really frustrating that facilities are not upto the mark and I am upset about all my LICs and can't resist myself to say "Oh Man Why I went for LIC schemes"

                                    I started paying yearly premium since 26/08/2003 till 26/08/2008.The amount paid Rs.129131.
                                    ie.The TOTAL Amount paid (129131x6) = 774786.00.
                                    But LIC of India, P M G COMPLEX, P.O.BOX.No 10, CHAGANACHERY, 686101 . I had received
                                    a Discharge form to be filled dated 11/06/2009 said that the policy is due for payment of SURVIVAL
                                    BENIFIT on 26/08/2009.
                                    The details given in that showed only Rs.605500.00.Where as when i contacted their office informed that
                                    payment due is Rs.721545 and i paid Rs.774786.00.There was NO Claim or deduction so far.

                                    I had send mail to Kottayam Divisional Manager and copy to Manager Chaganachery in due course.
                                    The Div.Manager replies as the case is of Chaganachery and will be settled by them.
                                    I send repeated mails to Chaganachery, so far no response.
                                    LIC is a big organisation and how come they do such VERY High amount can deduct from the total
                                    amount.ie.Rs.169, 224.00.
                                    Pl. do the needful to get my maximum benifit and reissue the dispatch form.

                                    I have paid the amount login in LIC portal thru LIC on-line payment option.Policy Nos are[protected],[protected]. But earlier in the same day when I have tried it from SBI net banking, its showing the amount for both the policies are debited and transferred to [protected] account. The account is for INDIAIDEAS.COM PRIVATE LIMITED. In LIC also there was no update in time for the premium payment. So I need to log in to LIC portal to pay the premium. Now I need my money back as the premium was already paid and the mentioned account is not for LIC.

Once we have started paying, we are not too sure of its guarantee of return / refund.                                     I (Abhijit Majumder) a policy holder of L.I.C.I Rampurhat vide Policy no:[protected] Plan/term: 107/20 D.O.C 28/02/1994 off late have found that I did not receive my money back cheque for the period of 02/2002 which was issued by L.I.C.I on 07/02/2002 cheque no 01 38474 cheque date 12/02/2002 for the amount of Rs.12500 (twelve thousand five hundred) due to mislead of records.I have already inform the matter to the concerning branch, but the concerning branch neither give any reply nor entertain my representative .

                                    I have taken above mentioned Jeevan Surabhi policy from your firm and due to some reason i was unable to pay the further premium and i surrendered the policy after completeing 4 1/2 years and send to kochi ernakulam address. I recieved a letter from your firm mentioning the " if you hold the policy for further three months and then send the original copy to this office you will get a good amount". I did it and send the original along with covering letter to your office at kochi, kerala address. But after one and half year i still waiting for payment but i did not got neither any letter nor check or demand from your firm against surrendering the above mentioned policy.
                                    In view of the above it is request that neccessary action be taken as earliest to avoid further delay and kindly also change my address as i transferred to Mumbai at present on my following address -

                                      I am serving in CRPF as Sub-Inspector and purchased a Money Back Policy No.[protected]Agent Code[protected]A DO code 0328976) during my stay at Ranchi(Bihar), this was transerred by me at my Home Distt. Sultanpur(UP) during 2000-01. Second money back of said policy was due during March 2007 & Rs 7500/- on account of money back is required to be paid myself, whereas only Rs 6789/- paid by the LIC vide cheq No. 0003932 dated 18.3.07 and in details it is mentioned that Rs 711/- have been deducted from my above due amount as a pending premium of 12/06. Whereas the said premium (i.e. 12/06) has already been paid by me vide receipt No. 1010035 dated 10/3/07 at Rati Ram Park Nazafgarh New Delhi.

                                      On the above matter and adjustment of double paid premium, we have meet three times with the branch Manager Sultanpur and his administrative office during March to April 2007 and requested with them the excess paid premium amount as mentioned above may be adjusted against the pending premium of said policy of March 2007 & they have verbally assured me that many other similar type of cases are lying pending in their office and it may be settled by end of April 2007. Despite of my repeated requests and also my written applications dated 24/4/07, 12/9/07 & 30/11/07 neither any action have been taken by them nor any reply sent to me till date. To avoid surrender of my policy i have paid premium of March 2007 vide receipt No.0197180 dated 8/9/07 at Rati Ram Park Branch Nazafgarh New Delhi with late fee of Rs 28/-. Due to pending of adjustment i unable to deposit my premium of 6/07 to 12/07.

                                      Request necessary direction may be issue to concerned that the double paid premium of 12/06 may be adjusted against my due premium of 6/07, so that i can able to continued my said policy.

                                      I am paying my nephew's lic quarterly premium of Rs.492/- against LIC Policy no.[protected] through my Citi Bank Credit card. The last quarter premium due on 19 01 2009 has been paid twice on 31 12 2008 through my Citi Card and on 19 01 2009 through my ICICI Bank SB A/C no.[protected].
                                      Kindly arrange to refund the amount or adjust the amount against premium due on 19 04 2009 under intimation to me.
                                      The receipt of double payment by LIC has been confirmed through LIC IVRS service please.
