I had booked a ticket for my realtive from Mumbai (Mulund ) to Alibag of Shivshahi bus using MSRTC online booking portal. The seating arrangement was showing seat No. as 43 ( The seat just behind drivers cabin) since the realtive is senior citizen. However after actual boarding the bus we came to know that the seat was far behind and not as what shown in seating arrangement / selection chart. I really fail to understand whether any department exists in MSRTC which checks if rthe portal is working as desired. typically in every organisation, IT wing always keeps monitoring/test if the software is working as expected. Seat selection funtionaly is basic functionality which has to work perfectly for any public trasnport service as majority of the public use the same (especially when booking for Senior Citizens are travelling). I don't have much expectation from MSRTC to reduce troubles of common people. This is just for information for the common people like me.
