Am not satisfied with our mahinadra car i have purchase in 2013 mahindra varito vibe mahindra service is very poor in all cities parts not available in stores. i give it the car for insurance complaint and drop the car in last two week in noida sec-59 koncept services but till todya i dont have any clearty about my car. plz revrt immadiattly for below matter.

    I took delivery of an XUV500 W8 on 18th October 2015, which was allotted to me by my Company. At the time of delivery, the Rama Road branch of the Dealer handed me out some papers, invoices and receipts and were made to sign some papers. I didn't see the vehicle before taking delivery in the evening as this was not possible for me. However, a few days later my driver informed me that there were several mouse droppings inside the vehicle which I myself observed. Also, several fittings and fixtures looked rusted, and without the freshness of a new vehicle. I doubted the age of the vehicle and started enquiring with the Sales staff of the M&M Dealer since none of the papers mentioned this. They have been dodging a response for last several days. Only day before yesterday, I was informed that the vehicle is of April 2015 make (scan attached)! Ever since, I am at a terrible shock since 6 months' old vehicle means a straight financial loss of about Rs.1, 70, 000/- to me on a vehicle cost of Rs.17 lacs. This is a definite case of concealment of a crucial information from the customer amounting to cheating as I am now handed with a vehicle which is 6 months' old and has therefore undergone 6 months' natural depreciation. I started arguing the matter with Sri Durga Automobiles' Customer Care, but naturally their version is that it is a normal. I enquired with other Dealers of XUV500 in Delhi/ NCR, who are readily prepared to deliver a vehicle as fresh as October 2015 make. Therefore, the contention of Sri Durga Automobiles are mal-intended. They wanted to dispose off an old inventory and found a victim in me! Being their exclusive Dealer, M&M should own up the responsibility of cheating a customer and intervene. This is my first step to go public on the matter. I am once again appealing to M&M and Sri Durga Automobiles to arrange to replace the vehicle with a new one immediately. Nothing else will work to mitigate my frustration. Although I do not intend to do it but in extreme situation I would be forced to take recourse of violation of consumer rights and step up giving negative publicity against Mahindra & Mahindra (since the Dealer if theirs) and Sri Durga Automobiles.

      I Chandrashekhar Parate, bought Mahindra XUV 500 W10 (KA-03-MW-4776) in August 2015 (approx. 2 Months old, ran 2500Km). I went to spend my Dussehra vacation at Goa with my family (In Laws (age 72 and 60), Son (4 Yrs old) and wife.
      I travelled to Goa by my almost new XUV on 19th Oct at 6PM from Bangalore and reached Hubli at 1 AM; I stayed there overnight and again started for Goa next morning around 9 AM. While traveling from Khanapur, Karnataka wild life area I noticed some issue in clutch paddle, clutch went suddenly down and was not coming up automatically, I tried to pull paddle through my leg and it came up. As it was a wild life area and single road, quite lonely so we decided not to stop there and continue the drive further to our destination. I tried to call customer care but no mobile network was available, I checked front panel if there is any indicator which shows any danger but no alert light was glowing.

      I managed to reach at Goa- Karnataka border to find out that I was not able to move gear from current gear to any other gear, but when I used to switch off ignition I could move the gears. As I was moving down from Hills (Ghat) I managed to drive my XUV in 2nd gear without shifting gears. After reaching Mollem, I have contacted on MAHINDRAs toll free number and kept driving my XUV by every time shifting gears (when required) in ignition switch off mode.
      After calling 4-5 times (call dropped because of network unavailability) on toll free number, I managed to talk to customer care and they agreed to send pickup truck in 2-3 hours. My family was going through the mental trauma during this 40-50 kms of drive and we all were tired especially my kid and in-laws, we managed to somehow reach our destination around 4PM. Pickup truck came around 6 PM and they took my vehicle to Muktar Automobiles, Verna industrial estate, Verna, Goa.
      Next day real trauma started when I received call from Relationship Manager (Rahul Kotkar), according to him my XUVs clutch plate, Dual mass fly wheel and Cylinder Concentric were damaged and needed replacement. I was told that these parts do not come under warranty period. They asked me to pay Rs 45500/- amount for repairing. I asked them the reason of vehicle failure and the reply I got was “because of bad i.e. Half Clutch Driving”. I was surprised to know that after 15 years of driving experience this guy is suspecting on my driving skills. To mention, I never had any driving or car issues in my old car. I have told him that this type of issues are faced by two of my office colleague and Mahindra has replaced everything at free of cost. I was ready to give them there references but he said he will try but was not sure (All Conversation recorded)

      Later I called Sireesh Auto, Service Head Mr. Sanjay Joel in Bangalore, he told me that it is not my fault and Mahindra would pay for all the damages of my XUV, he also showed sympathy towards me and assured me for help. As per him, he sent an email regarding this also provided me the contact details of Mumbai-Goa CCM (Mr. Rohan) and Bangalore region CCM (Mr. Jiju Raj). He was out of country then and I was told he would be back by Wednesday (All Conversation recorded)
      I tried to call both the CCM but because of Dussehra vacation (both were not reachable). At the end of the day I could connect on Rohan’s number, he told me he has noted my concerns and since it was Dussehra holiday he will not able to do anything and will get back to me on next day (23rd Oct).

      Next day I spoke to Jiju Raj (Bangalore CCM), he told me he cannot do anything as Rohan is the authorized person for same and he will go with his word.

      After contacting Rohan, he asked me to wait for some more time as he was discussing this issue with higher authority, ( I felt it was delaying tactics as I have told everyone that I will be leaving Goa on 24th Oct morning so they have delayed this process intentionally ) and at the end of the day Rohan mentioned me it was my fault not the company fault and I need to pay 45500 Rs for repair. I din’t had an option that time as I had to start from Goa on next morning. As they informed me on very short notice, I asked them that I will pay the dues through credit card and will come to their service station by taxi. I hired taxi for Rs 1100 and traveled 50 Km with my family and luggage to reach their service station, while en route Relation Manager called me up and told me he will not accept payment from credit card, as the machine was not working from last night. It was very difficult for me to arrange 45500 Rs in such short time (withdrawing limit on ATM Cards) but I somehow managed and paid the entire bill. I have asked Xerox of additional document other than bill but they refused to provide it saying it was against the company policies. I feel there should be no harm acquiring any document (at least in Xerox) related to my vehicle.
      I had mentioned to Rohan that when my colleague had not paid single penny for same issue then why did MAHINDRA charged it to me? According to him there is an issue with my driving skills and hence this issue cropped up. He failed to let me know why such an issue would come in a new vehicle and what would be the guarantee that it would not reappear. He had given me a unique solution that one of MAHINDRAs representative will accompany me for 5-10 KM drive and observe my driving skills and will also provide suggestions on same.       I am asking some hard question on this forum.

      1) Why did this issue crop up in 2 month old vehicle (total kilometer ran is 2500Km), I need technical answer? I know XUV recalled some models with same issue, my car was also recalled for some oil filter issue.
      2) People on websites have complained about the same issue and also few XUV models have been recalled, then why this issue not acknowledged by your CCM, don’t you care about consumer feedbacks?
      3) I am mentioning again and again in my conversation that two of my office colleague also faced same issue and have not paid single penny, why the CCM has not taken this into consideration and checked with respective service station?
      4) Why this issue is not reported in front panel light warning, MAHINDRA demo guys mentioned that if any light is not glowing in the display then everything is fine and you can drive your vehicle?
      5) I was in Goa from 20th Oct to 24th Oct and was not able enjoy a single day because of this issue, I bought XUV 500 W10 in Rupees 18.70 Lacks (hard earned money) to roam around the country but I don’t have confidence in this brand after my Goa trip. Now I am more scared driving this vehicle. How can anyone believe that his/her vehicle is has no issues, as brand new vehicles are all giving problems?
      6) MAHINDRA CCM mentioned that this is result of bad driving and he is ready to give 10-15 min crash course on driving skills, if this type of course is required before buying the car then why don’t you make compulsory training for everyone and mention it in your advertisement that “Mahindra Hamesha with good drivers” ?
      7) I have asked to provide me all technical details for failure, according to Mr. Rohan CCM they have all reports which shows driver’s mistake, I asked him to provide the same but he told this is for their internal use and they will not provide any details to me. I was surprised with this statement, why don’t you make it public if it is driver’s mistake? (All Conversation recorded)
      8) Other than bill I have asked service station to give Xerox for all document but they simply rejected my request, but I have taken photos of all documents. Why should MAHINDRA reject such a request?

      I am expecting a refund for my bill and the extra expenditures incurred by me in absence of my vehicle.

        Dear Mahindra Customer Care,

        I have recently purchased a brand new Mahindra Scorpio Getaway 4WD from one of your dealer "Luxmi Switchgear's Pvt. Ltd (Spead link)", Panchcula haryana. I took the delivery of the vehicle on 13 oct'15.

        On the time of delivery I reported a defect with the vehicle as it was getting pulled toward left side while driving. One of your service engineer suggested me to come back again in 4-5 days so that he can rectify the problem.

        As discussed I visited again on 21st Oct' 15 in Speed Link, Panchkulla to get the problem resolved as vehicle was still getting pull towards left side and to fix the issue your service engineer putted SIM inside it chamber.

        But still it was not fixed and due to same malfunctioning while driving the vehicle i met with an accident as I tried to turn it towards left a bit to give the way to a tractor which was coming from the opposite side and It got pull extremely its own and entered into a pit.

        Now I had to drop the vehicle in "Shiva Auto" Ghaziabad for the insurance purpose and their service engineer also telling me that the vehicle is still getting pull badly toward left.

        I am extremely unsatisfied with the Mahindra. I spent almost 11 lacs to buy this new vehicle from you and the brand new vehicle came with the manufacturing defect due to that I met with an accident and my new vehicle got damage.

        Expected a positive response from a brand manufacture like Mahindra.

          I purchased scorpio UP 14 CH 1122, from koncept automobiles lajpat nagar, delhi in july 2014.. my car alloy wheel got totally damaged four months ago .. and when i approached the mahindra they are saying they will not change it even after my car is in warranty . first they gave a defected piece and now they are not changing . i faced lots of difficulties just becoz of this. whenever i approached the mahindra, all the time they gave different different excuses to me . that go here there and all . and they are doing the same thing since last 4 months . i request the head officers of the department to look into the matter . this is my worse experience with mahindra and i will never deal with mahindra in future .and will suggest everyone not to purchase cars from mahindra

                Hi, My name is nitin tyagi [protected] i took my car mahindra Scorpio up-14-bz-2900 today 22/10/2015 to shiva service center ghaziabad lohia nagar & as they treated me like an illiterate person first they said that your part is not in warranty but according to me i have three years warranty which their system is also saying but now they are teaching me the conditions which was not told to me while purchasing car with warranty & then when i talk to General manager they says that your 1 product is in warranty another is not then again they call me sry this another part is also in warranty but few more parts we have to change those are not in warranty now i can't trust them they are really making fool just to fill targets & money by fraud suppose if i would have paid for those warranty covered parts also that is really a scam this will directly affect mahindra why i should go to authorized mahindra if they only believe in money no customer service will go for legal action on mahindra now..

                    Parts are not available easily in the market and dealers are charging more in respect all the parts. Service provided by them is not satisfactory even I can say below bad category. I feel that It was a great mistake done by me when I purchased the said vehicle because each and every time I was cheated by their dealers by charging more. For example - For a simple clutch wire - they are charging Rs 250.00 which is about 10 times more that ordinary clutch wire,

                      I own a Mahindra Quanto C4 car. Fom last 2 months i.e from 1st Aug 2015 I am facing abnormal complications in my car. my driving is smooth no issue. Problem started with engine. engine makes noise which was never heard before. also while driving the vehicle leaves its pickup suddenly and then after sometime it retakes its pickup. I complained the Service center twice. But they say that they are unable to find the fault as they dont have Qualified /Trained staff.

                        I bought a Mahindra Bolero ZLX White bearing vehicle serial no. FSH73623 and Engine no. GPF4H80783 from the Imphal(Manipur state) dealer, Shivz Autotech Private Limited on the 10th October 2015. It was brought home at around 3 PM and was found to be having a faulty Air-Conditioning system which was not working at all. I complained on phone and I was told to bring the vehicle straightaway. I sent my driver to the dealer and they could not get it repaired that day and was told to bring early morning on the next working day 12th October before 8 AM. I dropped the vehicle personally at 7.30 Am today the 12th October 2015. I went to check the vehicle at 4 PM to day and they said that it was not yet ready and not repaired. I really wonder how serious the problem is because the mechanic cannot fix a the air-conditioner in a day, that also in a new vehicle. Or, it could be that the dealer in Imphal is not equipped well to give proper service to the customer. I am very much disappointed

But on date when I again inquired from concerned officer, he casually informed me that procurement is still under process and it will take some more time, as a result my car is stranded since last fifteen days. You are, therefore, requested to please take up the matter with the concerned officials immediately, so that my car is repaired without any further delay and let me know by return message.

                            I booked a XYLO H4 ABS by providing the booking amount of 50000/. I had also got my old car exchanged which Mahindra has already taken and sold it. I got a message from Mahindra on 25th Aug, 2015 confirming the booking. After that I have been continously talking to them for delivery. I came to know on 28th Sep, 2015 that the vehicle has not been allotted to me yet and there is an indefinite delay. I have not received any responses to multiple mails sent by me to customer care and their area sales manager. If this is the attitude of Mahindra even before they give the delivery of the vehicle, what will be therir attitude after the vehicle is sold. I have not got delivery or confirmation on when my vehicle will be delivery even today(29th Sep, 2015).

                              I have Scorpio crde 2006 model and had a terrible experience with customer service recently. I was in Rajapur, Ratnagiri, Maharastra at my home town and my car was not ready to start. I tried local mechanic and he suggested to visit service center to get it done. I towed my car from Rajapur to Ratnagiri Mahindra Service Center at cost to 7000 just to hear that we cannot repair such a old model. If service center will not repair my car who else will repair. I think I made a big mistake purchasing this car brand as they are not ready to support once the product is 5 years old. The reason they gave me, parts not available, you have to keep the car for 2 months.

                                I have bought xuv 500 in april 2012 and had a problem regarding headlamps since then. 1. Mahindra dealer and employees who work at garg motors sirsa, are misbehaving and are literally abusing, when asked that why headlamp bulbs are fusing so frequently. 2. They are unable to find the cause that why the hell my car's headlamp bulbs have fused 15 times (approx) in three years, even though replaced from their workshop everytime. 3. I have compained about this to mahindra customer care several times by calling and by email also but got no satisfactory response. 4. I am feeling helpless and very frustrated regarding this matter. I suggest everybody must avoid buying mahindra vehicles. If i dont get any help on this matter from mahindra I will go to media and court.

                                  I have purchased a Mahindra Bolero SLX from authorised dealer of Mahindra in March 2015. This vehicle is causing problem & i have talked to dealer as well as with customer care, but no help is received. My vehicle is in warranty period & the dealer is demanding charges for getting repair. My vehicle is stationed at GITI Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, HP.

                                    I ajay chand purchased Mahindra bolero fb HP 37 D 5682 in December 2014...My vehicle met with an accident after 7 months...when I asked for claim they are saying its not that insurance which provide full claim...As per them I will have to pay 50 percenct of the amount...This is the way how they make business by making the people fool...But I will file case against you guys...I can bet on it

                                    i went to Mahindra station and had word with the GM Mr. Koundal and now I am okay with the solution which he provided...i hope it will give good results

                                      My name is Harish Saini, I’ve purchased Mahindra Quanto in Feb-2014. After taking Delivery, I got a welcome call from customer care then I have informed that my car is having so much vibration and its having some clutch issue due to that car is not taking proper pickup, same way I also informed to Sales person (Mohit) that he told me to visit service center, I visited at service center and met with Manish (Service Advisor) he told me that all Mahindra cars having vibration and there is no issue in Pickup and Clutch. I visited on workshop on workshop for 2nd service and inform about same condition but they didn’t listen anything and reverted my car after 2nd service with same condition. After some time I again received 1 call from another Mahindra service center and had taken an appointment and visited on that Mahindra Workshop (Mohan co-operative, New Delhi) they told me that your clutch is hard and if you want to change appx Rs.14000 amount you need to pay for change and for pick up and vibration they did some work, post that some pickup had increased. Post that appx 19500 kms my car was breakdown at mid of way in morning at 6.00 a.m. at Pragati Maidan, Delhi while me and my family returning from marriage. I called up to Mahindra tollfree number 1800, and they told me your car is 1 year old (But as per delivery 1 year is not over) and they referred it to service center (Koncept Automobiles Okhla Phase-2, New Delhi). I towed my car by Crane from Pragati Maidan to Koncept Automobiles Workshop Okhla Phase-2, New Delhi, and Paid Rs.2000 as towing charges, but that amount was not reimbursed. They checked my Car and replace the Clutch. After changes I have started my Car till Appx 27000 km and again I am facing another problem that 1 ignition “Check” is showing on speedometer, I visited Service Center again < >, they checked and repair the car and handover it to me, but on < > same issue will occur again and I visited with same problem, they again checked and change some Vacuum part and handover to me again, but after 2 days that “Check” light again appears on car, now they picked up the Vehicle from me and checked thoroughly, they observed it till 5 days and finally they changed “Turbo-charger” spare part in my car. In this period I borrow the private cab and reached office but they never arranged any other car and reimburse the amount whatever I had paid for private car. Disputes: While purchasing the car below items are given me on different date, 1) Insurance date, 2) Car Delivery 3) Bill Payment date is different, 4) Manufacturing month is showing 01/2014. due to that I didn’t get the towing charges back as per advisor. Issue with Showroom/Workshop Not listening about my Car Issues, Vibration and Pick up issues, balance/alignment issue while turning. Wrong Commitment and issues After so many complaints, finally 1 guy Abhishek comes and told me to visit Workshop/Show room, they will assist you and resolve all your complaints, and he also given me 1 voucher and taken Rs.799 for that voucher and told me that your 4th service amount will not exceed with[protected] max. He also told me call him before visit Showroom/Workshop, but till date he is not picking up my phone, and I have paid Rs.13200 Appx amount for 4th service. I Purchased the Car in Feb-2014, but card model is 2013. Major part (Clutch) was changed in Before1 Year (19000+ km). Major part (Vaccum jet) was changed in 1.5 Year (27000+ km). Major part (Turbo Charger) was changed in 1.5 Year (28000+ km). This Car is having Manufacturing defects, till now I am facing lot of problem with this car so request you to look at my above problems and arrange to replace my car.                                         It has not been 2 weeks since my last post regarding "Three Breakdowns of the vehicle in five months", it has occurred again. The vehicle was last repaired at Koncept Mahindra, Noida on the complaint made through an email, sent on 21st August, 2015. Yesterday (2nd September, 2015) while driving to my home around 9PM, a noise started coming from the engine section followed by black smoke from the bonnet. As I tried to park the vehicle to my left hand side of the road, within 4-5 seconds the air-conditioning system stopped working, the steering wheel jammed followed by battery sign emerging on the instrument cluster and soon engine heat up sign (all red bars) started blinking. All of this occurred in merely half of a minute. Milometer displays 41900kms. All of these breakdowns are getting bigger and horrifying after one another.

                                        The vehicle is a complete lemon. I seek no Safety, Security and Assurance driving the same anywhere, anytime. The manufacturer should recall the vehicle and replace it with a new model and also compensate for monetary losses and mental injuries suffered by me and my family. In the present scenario, XUV5OO is a high-end product of Mahindra and Mahindra Limited and I'm sure the company will be concerned for manufacturing a high-end lemon too.

                                        I'll soon be filing a complaint at district forum for the same if the solution doesn't looks favourable.
