I Bought a Morphy Richards Optimo 1.0L Electric Kettle from Khosla Electronics Pvt. Ltd Golpark showroom on….November 2013, with Product serial no. X[protected]. Guarantee card dated 29.12.13. Assured of 2 year warranty on the product and that I would be provided service at home in case of any problem.
The kettle stopped working suddenly morning of 1st August 2014. Complaint lodged with Khosla who forwarded complaint to Morphy Richards service centre. Docket no.[protected] Service Plaza, Kolkata ph no. 24656659 on 2.8.14. On 7.8.14, Mr. Amit from the service centre came and saw the kettle and said it could not be repaired on site. He said he would go back to service centre and give his report and then they would let us know what is to be done – repair at service centre or replacement.
Since there was no call from the service centre, we called up and asked them repeatedly what is to be done. On 9.8.14, I received a call to go and give the kettle to the service centre as soon as possible. The kettle was handed over to service centre personnel on 11.8.14 – after that there has been no news and it has been extremely difficult to deal with the service centre...no one picks up the phone most of the time; when they do they say they are in a meeting and will call back; they never do; if by chance I manage to extend the conversation they say they will find out about the status and let me know...but still I am without any idea what is being done.
On 11th August I called your helpline and registered another complaint docket number[protected] and the person on the other end said he would send someone to my house. I had to explain the problem to him once again and he provided me with the mobile number of your State In Charge. However the story is the same...will call you back...will find out...will let you know... NO KETTLE...NO INFORMATION till today...I have been calling everyday...
On 3.9.14 I received a call from your SIC (after having called him nearly 10-12 times) who informed me that the spare part for the kettle would be received the same day and the kettle would be repaired and handed over by the weekend.
Since as usual, I did not receive any call, I called them today 9.9.14 at 11.45 to find out the status. I was asked to call after 2 pm…..this is how it has been in the last few weeks.
Now I want my Kettle back - is its non-working condition so that I can do the needful with my own resources...since yours are of no use.
Hope you will help me to retrieve my non-working kettle.
