Mumbai Metro — Smart Card Users Pay more than Token users

Every Where in world if you are Prepaid user, You get a discount. Even in Mumbai Locals you get heavy discounts on season passes than daily tickets. But for traveling in Mumbai Metro you get a discount for daily tickets and users who have smart card worth even thousand, still pays more. I am curious to know the reason behind this. Rajesh K.
