I've hired NTL taxi yesterday(19th Dec 2014) night (around 10 - 10:30 PM) for next day early morning pick @ 6:30AM from Medavakkam to K.K childtrust hospital, Nungambakkam. Booking ID: A[protected]
I have received driver details via SMS only next day (20th Dec) morning 5:45AM. Having complete trust on NTL, I'm not much upset over delayed confirmation on booking.
I called up taxi driver at 6:45AM as he has not arrived for pickup at 6:30AM. He replied in few mins he could reach pickup point, instead he arrived only at 7:25AM which is about 1hr late . upon questioning for delay, he casually replied type punctured on the way, hence delayed.
When he can't make it on time to reach customer, if he would have informed me on the same, i would have made another booking or another taxi service for quickly. My nephew (1month baby) operation was scheduled at 9AM and surgeon advised us to reach before 8AM.
Because of the driver's negligence, we could reach hospital by 8:30AM and our plan of pre-operation formalities were messed up.
I'm totally disappointed by the way NTL handling its customers and Bookings.
I urgean explanation and apology from NTL. This would be my last booking to NTL; i will suggest my friends and relative not to take service from NTL in future.
