I’m a Third officer in Merchant navy. I received an email from ocean pride services whose office Address is 102-B, Pavapuri apartment, Borivali East, Mumbai.saying that they have urgent requirement for a vacancy. In the email they also put false details showing that they have Valid RPSL number from DG shipping of India but it was been canceled by the shipping ministry due to their negligence in recruiting mariners.
They took my Passport and CDC and asked me to pay rs 2.25lacs for the job. They took an advance payment of rs 75000 from me and told me to pay the rest after signing the contract.
Now it’s been more than a month and half and they don’t have any vacancy. They cheated several other guys like this and took money from them.
When I went there to ask for my money and documents, they just returned the documents.
The owner Mr Mohit used false language to me and said that he cannot give me the money and I’ve to listen what he says.
He is a man of power in high places and I cannot fight back for my Money.
How can I get my money back without I being harassed by him as I’m scared of him.
I’ve the screenshot of the online payment I did to him to his company.
Please help me through this.
