I Purchased One plus 10T (16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage) in One Plus store website on 28th of September 2022. Received the product on 01 OCT 2022 thro courier. When I started to transfer the data the phone started to heat up abnormally. There was even more heat dissipated while charging as well. I spoke with Customer Care on 3rd october and submitted it to the Velachery customer service center in Phoenix market city, Velachery, Tamilnadu as per the advice from the customer care executive. Customer care confirmed that since the issues are there, the phone will be replaced since there is a 14 days replacement warranty. But the service person was not ready to accept the heating issue and confirmed that it is perfectly alright for the phone to heat up to 45 degrees. We had a minimum of 4 to 5 conversations with the customer care executives, who just mimic the service person. Both the customer care executives and the service persons confirm that it is very natural for a oneplus phone to heat up. This is really a bad experience and very bad service has been provided by the one plus team. Even the service person agrees that the phone is heated more than 43 degrees and the charger to a temperature of 48 degrees(Attaching the evidence and the service report). I bought this phone after verifying the phone specifications and the performance level. As per the oneplus site, 10T gets heated up to +/- 25 degrees. But this phone does not live upto the mark. This could be a manufacturing defect . Kindly do the needful for the refund as I was denied replacement of the phone by oneplus service.
