Recently I had updated (15/06/2023)my OnePlus 11R device to the latest software version released by OnePlus . Immediately following the update, I noticed the presence of a prominent light on top right of my mobile screen, impairing the overall display quality. Upon researching this issue, I discovered that many other users have experienced the same problem after installing the update, indicating that the light and line issue is a direct result of the recent software update and not a consequence of any physical damage.
When I visited the service center ( Rohini Sector 3, M2K dated on 17/07/2023) to seek a resolution for this issue, I was shocked to hear that my request for a free screen replacement, as promised by OnePlus, was denied. The service center personnel pointed out the presence of a bend in my phone and and wrongly attributed the display light issue solely to alleged that water lock, completely disregarding any possible involvement of the recent software update. However, I would like to emphasize that I have always taken great care of my OnePlus 11R and have never mishandled or subjected it to any physical damage.
It is disheartening to witness OnePlus continuing to shift blame onto me for damages caused by your fraudulent updates, and now demanding payment for a replacement screen that OnePlus itself damaged. I insist on holding OnePlus accountable for this situation and demand a fair and immediate resolution.
The service center’s baseless claim that the damages are a result of alleged water lock.
