Dear sir .I have purchase luminouus [protected]@exide invatubular battery total expanse rs.19000/-from new tyre battery and service.Dated 27/7/2011.Address:shop no:106.42/2, silver point building, near union bank, g.I.D.C.Umbergaon, dist-valsad.Gujarat396171.Battery is total under warranty.It is now not working . Dealer demanding exide warranti card which he had not given at the delivery time.He had given tax/retail invoice only.Thats i have available.Three years replacement warranty will be finished next month.Please give the guideline what i have to do now?My contact no.[protected], [protected].Dealer contact no is [protected], [protected].[protected].My complaints is against dealer.He denies toreplace the exide battery.Battery is not working since two month.Dealer has recharge the battery with taking 500rs before two month but no result.Now dealer said without exide warranty card battert will not be replaced.

    Dear Sir\Madam I have purchased a battery (EXIDE Inverter Battery, Model No; Mega 1500, Sr. No; 3K1, 09055) from Raj Electronics and Electricals, Kakarmatta-Varanasi. After Half an year, the battery was not working. So we have given it to EXIDE Service Center, Pama Complex, Lahartara-Varanasi. After chekking battery, service center has reported that your battery is dead, and you will get a new battery because the warranty period is still remaining. But the problem is that, center is saying to go us to dealer (Abhishek Automobiles, Nadeshar-Varanasi.) Dealer is sending us to Raj Electricals and Raj Electricals is sending us to Service Center to get new battery. In this Summer, i am wandering among them (Service Center, Abhishek Automobiles and Raj Electricals) many times. They are troubling me mently. I am very tired to do that. So I am complaining you.       i am purchase exide battery for my pulser bike before 3 months and battery is under 18 month gauranty, battery getting discharge very soon, after discharrge i'll caontact here battery's dealer were i purchase it, then dealer saying me we will send your battery in our main office satna, after sending i will recieved text in my cell phone, your battety test found ok, we will revert it collect from the dealer within 3 days, and it's not going 1st time with me, its a second time, infact dealers worker saying after cheking battery, the battery had problem its useless.

        Dear Sirs,

        With great pain, I would like to bring it your notice that Exide has been troubling us for last couple of months.

        We bought a set of 8 new batteries for our office requirement.
        They started giving problem with in days.
        While Amron batteries give more than one hour back up, Exide batteries don't give even 30 mins.

        We made several complaints.
        Each time, they come and replace one or two batteries saying that they are faulty.
        Each time, they wasted our working hours.

        Not sure, why they sell such product to the customer.
        Not just about money. But they wasted several hours of tour time.

        We would like to complaint against of Exide so that they don't sell such products.

        We appreciate your support

          I have purchased exide tubular IT500 battery on 23/07/2012. till date i did not satisfy with the battery backup. Lastly I lodged a complained with exide coustmer care on 31/03/2014. No.NUHO[protected].After several reminder they give me a local delhi engg. mobile no.[protected]. I personally contact Mr.Ranjeet Singh engg. exide. He told me that we will pickup your battery and solve ur problem very soon .Now when i am doing phone on the above no. he didnot pickup my phone till date the problem as it.

            Dear Sir, We had Purchased 80 Numbers Exide batteries 12V/65AH for a UPS in the year 2012.The warranty period is over.It has been found that some of the Batteries are not giving proper backup and are required to be replaced.It would be nice of you could send your service Engineer and check the batteries thoroughly so that we can place the order according to our need. I request you to kindly look in the matter at the earliest.               Hi, I had given my Exide battery[12EB14LA-2 Serial No: 2H[protected]] for check up to a Exide Authorized dealer R. K Battery House located at "#2, Sri Venkateshwara Complex, ITPL Main Road, Opp to Hypercity, Kundanhalli gate, Bangalore-37" on 29th March, 2014. It was discovered on Wednesday 2nd April, 2014 battery need to be replaced as charging was not happening.The battery was under the warranty period, so the next day I gave them my original bill and warranty card so that the battery can be replaced. It has been week since I have given my battery for check up, the dealer is not giving me proper dates when will I get the new battery nor is he giving me a service battery so that I can use my bike.My bike has been stranded for week now and I am at great inconvenience because of this.               I had a chat with the dealer today. The dealer has promised me to give me a service battery tomorrow Monday, 7/04/2014. I got the service battery finally. so hopefully I should get the replacement also soon.

But I must say the experience in getting the battery replaced is not proper. Too much inconvenience no call backs by the dealer even though calling the dealer every day.

                I have purchased Exide Inva Tubular Battery IT 500 from a local dealer M/s United Motor Co., Ludhiana on 11.10.2010 My battery is giving a little trouble from some time. it is discherging within 5 minutes of Power cut with only One fan or Tube being On. i have complained the matter to the dealer and he forwarded my battery to company for repair as my battery is under Warranty(Warranty is of 48 months) I have received my battery after one month and the problem is still there. whenever there is a power cut, my battery get discharged with 5 minutes causing great difficulties to me. My battery's warranty is still one year pending.

My battery which is under warranty period got spoilt.After verbal complaint he demanded the battery for rectification on date 16.07.2013 keeping battery with him no rectification or replacement done from his end.As per my knowledge and as per warranty provided by distributor is considered from the date of purchase.Now the distributor is refusing for the rectification or replacement of the battery of my vehicle.                             Dear Sir/Mam, My name is Sunny Bhatia. I belong to Faridabad. I had purchased a bike battery of Exide bikerz on date 28/08/2012 from Sethi Automobile, shop no.11, Bata Chowk Market, N.I.T. Faridabad. Battery is with 15 months guarantee period & battery no. is 973106. Mr. Mandeep (M:[protected]) from Sethi Automobile wrote himself on warranty booklet the date of sale of battery 28/08/2012. Warranty Card No. at booklet is FARI 058229 C 12. Now the battery is not providing better use, there is a problem in self start as its been only one year of purchased. So here 3 more months of guarantee period are pending. Hence on date 21/08/2013 i went to Sethi Automobile and showed him the warranty booklet on asking. Mr. Mandeep told me to go to Parvesh Auto Sales (Parvesh Mobile:[protected]), shop no. 57, Sanjay Market, Near PNB Market, Old Faridabad. I went at the same address on the next day on dt. 22/08/2013 and showed the warranty booklet to a person at Parvesh Auto Sales. He started making stupid kind of excuses. He refused to replace that and told me that i have done the changes in date of sale. He told that i have changed it from 23/03/2012 to 28/08/2012. I got angry and asked him only one question when I need to change only month from 03 to 08 why i will change date from 23 to 28. At the end i request you to resolve my query.                               Yesterday, I have purchased a new EXIDE Xtreme Battery for my Honda Activa from RISHABH TRADERS Exide Authorized Distributor, Moti Nagar, New Delhi 15, having invoice No. 0005723, Date 22/06/2013. My battery Serial No. is 2E3-075367 according to the print on invoice but the battery provided is with different Sr. No. I feel, I am cheated by the distributor by providing me he old one.

                              Luminous battery — Cheating

                              I hv purchased a luminous battery on 11/2008 and last year due to some complaint the batter has replaced. It is very surprising that new battery did not work for a year.

                              I esquire for the luminous company, got a feedback that your ghaziabad service station is replacing the batteries so it work for a year only.

                              Yes, you are right you can cheat some one but one time.

                              I am going to escalate this issue to consumer forum and [protected]@network18online.com.

                              Please do not revert me back like you are out of warranty etc.

                              My question is why a new replacement battery does not long for a year only.

                              PAE are the cheaters director company
                              we purchased 20 Exide Invaqueen batteries from PAE and are faulty supplied batteries , we climed for it but they rejected to give ,i directly communicated with director but he also didt replied Mr.Iyer of PAE is cheater person.. dont trust him....

                                i was purchase exide batri from dealer on date[protected]. i have found 18 month warranty on this product, but with in warranty period batri problem occured. then i have submitted batri for repairig on date[protected] with in warranty period.
                                now dealer was told me that your batri has useless & not repaired. but i told him that when i have submitted exide batri to dealer with in warranty period, then why should not replacing of that batri. but not any response from dealer to me.

                                whats your opinion in my complaint, please tell me.
                                i have all bills & reciepts available.if you have any quarries.

                                  My inverter battery broke down for some reason and the shopkeeper took it back for replacement along with the bill and warranty card(we gave him the documents trusting him as we purchased it from him only) and he promised to get it replaced from company as it is under warranty.now from last 3 months we are trying to get it back but to no use.everytime we ask for same he says next monday or tuesday or thursday and so on.and now he has stopped receiving our calls and keep his shop closed.we have become helpless.his shop address is exide battery shop 'next to ganesh bhel shop opposite to axis bank near prem sagar building.chinchwad.phone no: [protected] , [protected]. And kamla cross road a wing shop no 11 pimpri pune 16. The sales representative also cheated us by taking rs 50 each time for a 5rupee fuse.this happened for 5-6 times till one day he dint have it and we purchased from other shop than we got to know that it was just for rs 5.somehow we got the warranty card back but the bill and the battry is still with him.somebody please help.

                                  400068. The battery was purchased in bill but i have lost by bill the shopkeeper is having recored in his file and he is not giving service because of bill. My battery bears the serial No. 7E8317166 Can you help me to get this replacement.

                                  We had placed an order BEARING nO. thdc/tEHGRI/mm/159/110 dTAED 12.11.08 of diffrent types of Exide batteries to your authorised dealer i.e. M/s Calcutta Battery Supply Co. (P) Ltd., New Delhi. The total cost of the order was Rs. 13, 23, 116..00. Lots of batteries cell were found during inspection & sanme was conveyed to Dealer. Moreover these batteries were under warrenty period . But Dealer not replacing these deffective batteries even verbal & written complaints. Our Corporation regulaly using & procuring Exide Batteris since 20 Year. But this experiece is very paining to us.

Till date he has not delivered battery. Now days he is not receiving my phone calls and both his shops are closed. As you say we have become helpless, please let us know who can help us in this.                                     Sir,

                                    This is to inform you that i am from Chennai and i had purchased an Exide Battery (Automotive) for my thunderbird. This battery type 12MF 14 3A, while selling vendor told it had a 18months warranty. I had purchased the same on 11.12.12. the battery stops working from the next week.

                                    Main difficulty in thunderbird is it will not start if the battery is less.

                                    I went to the vendor he told battery is drained, He told he will recharge it & give , pay me 60 rs.. I done it. Almost 8 times I had given to the vendor for recharging, after recharging from every 2 day my self will not work, then I can’t start the vehicle itself

                                    Before a month I had given the battery for the check * warranty claim to the same vendor

                                    In the mean time I checked with the royal enfield service center, they checked & told vehicle is perfect, they given a spare battery, vehicle is running good with that

                                    He told he will give this to service center & do it. I am following with vendor every alternate days. Finally he told battery is ok. Then I told to check the battery volt it is showing only 10 volt, and therefore it cant start the bike

                                    Now I went to the service centre directly & given, there new recepit no is 4101

                                    i want the replacement of the same

                                    Exide Battery — Not Replaced by Vendor

                                    My Self Vishal Jain,

                                    I have purchased Exide Battery for Hero Honda Motorcycle, It is not working properly and vendor is not replacing it, whether gurantee period remain for 3 months.

                                    Kindly suggest me.

                                    i purchased exide battery for my motor cycle. after some month there was some problem in battery then i went to dealer for replacement of the battery. he take the battery and told me your battery will be back after 15-16 days. after 15 days he told me your battery is ok and no any problem in your battery. when i went to mechanic and he checked the battery he told battery is not ok. again i went to dealer for show the battery, this time also he take the battery and again he told me your battery will be back after 15-16 day due to this i am facing the problem from last one month.
                                    so please suggest me what i do for this i am very puzzle.

                                        I had purchased a new exide "matrix" din-55 car battery on12/03/2011 from exide dealer m/s amsan auto in kedari nagar, wanowrie, pune, vide invoice no: 925. Just after a few months the battery started giving problems like complete drained battery after non use of car for even a week or so and car not starting at all. This was duly reported to the local dealer amsan auto, who would always claim that since we are not using the car and hence the battery is not being recharged. So he would take rs.50-75 and recharge the battery. We will tell him that we have this car for more than 10 years and we will maybe not even use the car for more than 15 days and it will start without any battery problems.

                                        This is same problem was recurring every few months, but the dealer refused to accept that the battery had problems, i was told to have my wiring checked, which i did, but still the problem persisted. After about almost a year i almost forced the dealer to have my battery checked at company. They removed my battery and gave me same battery back after 4-5 days saying it had been tested and the battery is fine and that now there should be some problem with my car battery charger-alternator. I was forced by the dealer to have my alternator changed by opel official service center for rs.7070/- plus vat/taxes. But this problem still did not suffice.

                                        Now again i took the battery to another local battery dealer (Not amsan) who also charged the battery for almost 3 times and told me that the battery has some problems and that i should contact the exide service center in pune, which i did through the dealer amsan auto on 01/4/2012 (1st april, 2013) vide dealer claim form no: 33433 and i also lodged direct e-mail complaint on exide company website: exidereachout.com

                                        I was then given an sms confirmation on my mobile by exide company for my complaint registration no: [protected] on 1/4/2013 and again later on 09/4/2013 a confirmation that my warranty claim no: pun310885, sr.No: 2a 122393, has been validated and battery would be replaced within 5 days and i should collect the battery from dealer.

                                        But till today the 22nd april, 2013 i have neither received any battery or even a phone call from the dealer or service center in pune. I have paid 3 personal visits to the dealer after 09/4/2013 and also called pune service and talked to mr.Dilip about 4 times, but they all are saying that they "dont have din-55" battery type at this moment.

                                        My biggest complaint is if a company like "exide" can keep my car grounded (Non usuable) now for almost 30 days and many more days before this final admission by them about faulty battery and also their severe inability to provide any service battery in the meantime, how about others. How can exide appoint such irresponsilbe dealers like amsan auto and also their sheer apathy of their own office in pune to provide any service battery in the meantime.

                                        Pl be warned, even if it is companys' (Exide) fault your car or vehicle will not be moving for maybe a month or more with no sorry or remorse from the company.

                                        EXIDE BATTERY DIN55 — BATTERY NOT WORKING

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        This is to inform you that i have purchased a Exide battery from a authorized dealer NEW PUNJAB BATTERY & AUTO PARTS Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana. Wide invoice no. 609 dated 14/7/2009, serial no. 2E9-91424.
                                        I want to share that I am facing lot of problem with this product, it has been charged more than 10 times by the dealer and 3 times it send back to the company it is showing red signal from last 6 months within a week it get discharged the dealer has checked the car 2 times whether the car is having some problem and also he gave a old backup battery which was running ok, I have a talk with company Er. Jagpal Singh but he is not ready to listen anything today again he has send back the battery which is again showing the red signal, dealer is also surprised and also I am. I have attached the latest snap of the battery also. Please do something otherwise i am forced to take necessary action

                                        Mr. Rahul offered discount of 45% for a new battery ON TODAYS PRICE.

                                        NOW THE QUESTION IS - WAS IT NOT ADVISABLE FOR ME TO BUY A CHEAPER BATTERY AT NEARLY HALF THE PRICE AND REPLACED IT IN 3 TO 3.5 YEARS. WHY SHOULD I BUY THE SO CALLED HIGH PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE FREE BATTERY?

                                        As per the information shared by dealer Mr. Sajid of Jefsson Battery Andheri (W) Mumbai, Exide is no more offering MATRIX Batteries.

                                        This clearly indicates that the company has covered the cost of ordinary battery in ADVANCE ENJOYED THE AMOUNT FOR 34 MONTHS and then offering replacement on a defective product.
