we have complained exide and opened ticket number NUTH[protected], its being 48 hours, no engineer has come to check BATTERY, which is only 6 months old and in warranty. main problem with BATTERY is : it is not chargING, we are forced to sit in dark and hot weather when light goes.

    Dear Sir I am Sanjay Kumar from Kankatbagh, Patna. I have purchased Exide make 30 nos 12V/100AH/SMF battery for our UPS system on 28/08/2013, which have get faulty since 07/03/2015. It is under warranty till 27/08/2015. Several time we have lodged complain to Exide and requesting verbally, but Exide is not replacing faulty batteries.

      I purchased Exide InvaTubular IT 500 battery in Aug 2013 and having 4 year Guarantee. Its been twice in this one and half an year that I am suffering with this battery. This time once we complained them they said that they will take a week to replace with running battery however in this week they are not providing spare battery. In this summer there is no possibility of leaving without inverter for a week in Indirapuram where almost 10-12hrs daily cut off happening. However the last time in Oct 2014 there was same battery problem and they took our battery but placed the spare battery before picking up. Now they are saying their company has changed the policy in last year November and so no spare battery will be provided. Also the service is so poor where since last one week complaint has been registered but action been taken after a week however they just keep calling over phone and saying reaching next day but never come. Its been almost daily 3-4 times we keep calling them. I am really frustrated with their behavior and they are now straight forward saying that I should go with other company either for service. In this one and half year even no body from dealer or company came for servicing and the warranty card is empty, no record maintained. I have that copy as well. They just returned today and mentioned that customer is not given battery because of Spare battery. My complaint registered with them is NUTH[protected] PLEASE HELP US Regards Nandita [protected]

        My mother in law (Mrs Atasi Mookerjee) purchased a IN 1500 plus(battery sl. no A3K3A006305 3K32) on 07/01/2014 for using with inverter from A&B Electronics at LakeTown Kolkata-700048.The battery is having a gurantee cover of 2yrs from the date of purchase i.e up to 06/01/2016. Since the battery is not working properly a complaint was raised through A&B Electronics on 12/05/15 vide Job No EWBA00001579.Astonishingly after the complaint when we contacted the service engineer(mob no [protected] was sent from the service center by SMS) to enquire about his program, the service engineer informed that it had to be sent to the service center by the user. We really wonder what is the meaning of Guarantee as earlier the Exide person used to carry the battery to the service center after inspecting at home. Please note my mother in law is around 80yrs old and the battery has been purchased from M/s Exide the most reputed supplier of the country, to get relief during the hot summer load shedding. As a super senior citizen suffering from old age disease can she not expect the minium help from Exide for doing the needful for taking the battery to the service center and to return it by fixing the problem.? Further Exide is writing a lot about Corporate Social Responsibility in their website and is it not a part of their CSR to at least help such elderly person ?             On 9.4.2015 van staff replaced the defective battery with a loan battery. It was informed that if defect is curable on testing then it would be delivered within four days otherwise it would be replaced by new one. Nothing was heard from company after four days. I called Batmobile again one customer care officer replied that battery was incurable therefore by a new battery the defective one shall be replaced. But there was no stock of new one. Customer care requested me to contact after three to four days. On 20.4.2015 in the evening at 18.12 hrs I called Batmobile in telephone number 22844564, one customer care officer described himself as Ajit Das informed me that new battery is available and asked me to bring the car at Entally Padmapukur. I express my problem to bring the car to the address instead I demand home delivery. Ajit Das replied that company shall inform as to when same shall be delivered to my home. I enquired about date and time of delivery, In reply he said in their time they will deliver, he refused to specify date and time. I exclaimed after hearing the reply but he emphatically said that it is the way they served the customer. That officer in an unacceptable attitude insisted that they shall deliver the battery as and when their time permit. he added further by saying that I should not forget that defective battery was replaced by a loan battery promptly rather on the day when complain was made. For that I should be grateful to them. I could not stand the attitude and disconnect the line. First of all there was a delay in replacement of defective battery for nearly ten days and I have been plying car with a loan battery. Instead feeling sorry for such delay company showed their attitude as if I am at fault. How a customer care officer of company say like this that a customer should be grateful for prompt service. Why the date and time for home delivery should not be specified. Why home delivery should be at company's sweet will. I have not asked for any favour from company. I bought the car Renault Duster and took delivery on 12.6.2014. Car plied about 10623 Km. Now a defect in battery has been cropped up. It is well within the warranty period. It is therefore my right to get prompt service under consumer protection act. Why I should be grateful for prompt service and that too for a loan battery, why I should ply my car for long ten days with loan battery. Why a bonafide customer tolerate unacceptable attitude of a customer care officer when there was a complain of delay in delivery. I therefore demand a prompt action in this regard and a compensation for negligence in service and for my mental agony and harassment failing which I need to approach consumer forum for redressal.

                This is to lodge a complain against Exide Battery company at Guwahati. I purchased a car battery from the Exide agent few months back and the battery is faulty. Since the time I purchased it stopped working and it was taken back for charging and refitted in my car. This problem has again recurred now and I am unable to use the car for the past several days. The agent Mr. Nipen ([protected]) and the engineer Mr. Babul ([protected]) have not been responding to my phone calls and providing any kind of service.                   Dear Sir, This is to inform you that I had purchased a EXIDE battery from one of your dealers in Kolkata name M/S BANSEN AUTO Electro(193 sarat Bose Road, Kolkata-29). Details of The Exide Battery purchased: · Purchase date: 01/02/2013 · Sale Invoice .No.: 17320 · Battery Type: T/25mF · Serial .No.- 113573 · MFG Code: 1E2 · Vehicle Make: Tata Nano · Vehicle Registration .No. : WB06E0280 · In the name of : Subhasish Gangopadhyay · Address: Vinayak, 107 Golf Club Road, Kolkata-700033. In this connection on I received an SMS form your above mentioned dealer that an immediate battery service Check-Up is required for my car battery and learning the same on 20th Feb 2015 I along with my driver personally visited the dealer to check the battery health as advice through SMS. The health check up done by the experts of Bansen Auto was fine and the same was mentioned in the warranty card. However after refitting the battery inside by car the experts were unable to start my car and kept fiddling with my car for more than two and half hours and yet could not get my car in a running state and advice me to visit to a car mechanic and repair the fault at my own expense. I did not accept their advice and insisted that the battery experts of Bansen must have wrongly set-up the battery. This was constantly been advice by me and my driver for the hours that they had been working to get the car running. The experts of Bansen refused to do the same saying “we know it all” however under such situation they called an senior expert to check up why the car was not functioning. He immediately found that the battery connection was wrongly set up by the experts in the negative /positive socket/port. Once the set up was established correctly by the senior expert the car started immediately and the senior expert of Bansen confessed that the problem was created by their amateur unskilled labor. Since then my Nano car which worked just fine before the battery setup started showed major starting problems and I had to visit the workshop for identifying the problem. It seem that the constant desperate effort by the amateur mechanic of Bansen for two hours and more with a wrong connection set-up damaged my healthy battery that was certified by the EXIDE authorized dealer Basen Auto Electro itself on that very day. It is my request that you take a strong action on your authorized dealer Basen Auto Electro by intimating them not to use amateur people to handle such complex auto functions and to have senior experts to take care of customer cars more efficiently. Further the damage caused by them should be compensated ASAP. So it is my request to you as a company that please instruct Bansen Auto Electro to replace and make good the battery that they have damaged. I bring to your notice I have purchased the earlier battery on[protected]. With the warranty of 48 months. Yesterday my family members have received a battery no. SWE[protected], which was manufactured in the year 2013 and the staff has obtained the signatures on the blank papers, without giving any warranty card. Ironically I have received an SMS showing they received my earlier batter with sl. no. 6126166. I ask you to take action on the erring and confirm whether the battery sent to me is correct or not.                       I purchased Exide battery FM 10-MIDIN50 -A2A4C334437 from M/s Shanti Traders 11-116, DDA Market, Near Gurudwara, Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Delhi-110091 through bill No.40 dated 14th June, 14 with manufacturing date mentined on battery was Febraury, 14 & also the batteryas on date is still in under warranty period, the lodge .was complaint to dealer on 6th December, 14, battery was again put in charging by dealer and got it back on 7th December, 14 by paying rs. 100/- for charging to the dealers but even the charged battery could not be taken the load to start the vehicle on 9th December, 14, again complaint to dealer & got advice to check the leakage current in vehicle, then vehicle was git checked from three different place but no leakage was found, hence approached your Bat mobile service on 27th December, 14, representative advice me to bring the Battery at service centre at A-3 PATPARGANJ IND. AREA, Delhi- 110092, battery was brought your service station on 29th December, 14. and got it back on 3rd January, 15, the same day I would requested to the service center, pl arrange to depute any one of your representative to come at my residence on 5th January, 15& start the vehicle just for verification weather battery is good or defective but nobody turned up, the result was like that the battery could not be take the load to start the vehicle on 5th January, 15 after passing 72 hours from the charging date .. In view of the above I suffered with mentally & harassed by this type of service & in future not advice anyone to purchase the exide make battery neither for vehicle nor for bike . Finally I am looking good & satisfactory response for the replacement of battery as in warranty period urgently for further course of action accordingly.                         For the kind Attn.of EXIDE BATTERY SERVICE CENTRE, LUCKNOW U.P. I had purchased a UPS Battery 7AH/12V EXIDE brand on 6-July-2014 from M/s Hari Computer Centre, 171-A CivilLines, Jail Chauraha, Jhansi U.P.for my UPS which the dealer had suggested. It had a 12 months warranty. [Vide Cash Memo No 1476 / dated 6-7-2014] Recently when the UPS stopped working suddenly and I took it for check up at M/s Hari Computer Centre, I was advised to submit the battery for check-up/replacement at the authorised Service Centre of Exide Company, who only can do the needful. Therefore on 2nd Jan 2015, after searching for the Authorised Service Centre at Gwalior Road[Near Balaji ] I was redirected to Exide's New Service Centre Plus Retail Seller outlet, M/s Mahesh Electricals, Antiya Talab Road, Jhansi. They took the battery and told me to call after 3 days to know what the outcome would be, It would be kept on charging & then evaluated if a replacement would be done from Lucknow. Today I have made phone calls twice to know the status. First at 3.40pm to[protected] [M/s Mahesh Electricals] when I was told that it was NOT CHECKED YET, & to call back after 6 pm. My 2nd call at 6.30pm, I was told that the STAFF was NOT THERE and I should call again on WEDNESDAY, 7-1-2015. I am just putting my experience ON RECORD thru' this portal as evidence, and shall again call the Service Centre on Wednesday to know the outcome. I hope a fair treatment & justified service is all that I expect. Lets see what happens.So far I have experienced a casual attitude and lack of punctuality/commitment. C.S.TEWARI [Jhansi U.P.]

                          I have made a purchase on 5th Dec '13, a new Exide battery from My Lancer Petrol. However its giving me a problem for last 2-3 months. When I took it to my sub dealer of Exide, he says battery is faulty and I need to send it to Authorised dealer for replacement. I have lost my warrany card for the battery however I have a cach bill from the shop which Exide authorised dealer M.K. Batteries, Ghatkopar is not accepting neither the Mr. Amit from Exide. Dear Mr Manoj, Firstly sorry for the inconvience caused to you. A sale bill invoice copy should having following things mentioned in it : 1) Customer details : Name, Address, Mobile no. 2) Vehicle details : vehicle type, reg no. of vehicle. 3) Battery details : Battery type, battery Sr.No & Mgf Code. A warranty card is a must to process battery claim came under warranty terms though we are considering the claim on the sale bill invoice as you seem to be a loyal customer with Exide and we really are thankful to you for that. As seen the in the bill copy mailed all the above things are not mentioned in it, please provide us with the proper invoice copy and help us to serve you better, as it wont possible to process the claim without proper documentation.                             First of all, i would like to say that your service is worst. I complaint about the inverter battery backup in the month of May. But still there is not a single response given to me from your side and whenever i like to talk to your customer care representative regarding to this matter, he says your complain has been send to our engineer of your location and your problem will be short out within two days. But now this the month of October, my problem is raising day by day and not a single person is came to solve the problem. I talked to your engineer personally, number given by the customer care. And he said "हम किसी के घर नहीं जाते है, आप अपना बैटरी विक्रेता को दे दीजिये, हम वही जाच करेंगे ". these words are told by your engineer. How irresponsible is this.

                              Dear Sir, This is to inform you that, I have purchased one Exide Inverter from KALI BHANDER, JANIGANJ, SILCHAR, ASSAM on 26/04/2014. Inverter Model Exide Xtatic 850 VA(RPF000242). This inverter has 24 months warranty also. From 10/09/2014 inverter started charging problem then I have registered one complain to Exide customer care complain no EAIN00011288. Next day(12/09/2014) one Mechanic came from Exide, he solve the problem within one and half hour but next day 13/09/2014 Inverter again started problem. I called several times to this Mechanic he did not receive my call then I called this sub dealer he gave me another mobile no of Exide Silchar office then after 2days on 16/09/2014 again earlier mechanic came and solve the problem immediately but next morning inverter again started problem. Today morning we started calling but anybody did not receive call. I don't know what is to be done? Exide is a very reputed company but my inverter is creating problem within 5 months.                                   I brought a sedan car on 24th of Apr' 14 from Toyota. After two month my car has a problem of starting. When I went to Toyota Agency in Azamgarh (Rajendra Toyota), they told that your battery is dead but don't take tension we will replace it and now its more den 2 month they are not providing me my battery and always told me that Sir what we can do Exide doesn't respond in this case. My car is not moving from more then two month.Both the firm Rajendra Toyota and Exide Agency Azamgarh (In front of Sanjay Petrol Pump, Azamgarh) made my life hell.

                                    I am writing this mail to bring to your notice my bad experience that I am facing with Exide support. I purchased an Exide Stan Red SR 500 + battery on 31st July 2014 and within 2 weeks the battery was not performing to expected level. I logged the complaint at your customer care on 14th and was assured solution within 2-3 days. On 20th I called customer care again and they gave me mobile number of Ghaziabad person Mr. Rajeet singh ([protected]), he in turn gave me number of Mr. Devinder ([protected]). He promised that he would come by evening of 20th (I gave all the details to him) but no one ever came. In all these process, I never got any call, SMS, email or update. This is height of customer negligence, my complaint has never been addressed despite numerous follow-ups and mails. And adding salt to insult I got a SMS on 26th August that the complaint number “NUHO00101752” has been closed. What exactly is happening, I need an answer.

                                      One Battery was purchased on dt.29.04..2013 from Akash Motor, which got damaged with in its warranty period.Subsequently it was sent to its dealer for repair/replace, it was returned back on st.31.07.2014 giving the reason that the battery store period is above 3 month. Detail about battery. Name of the owner- MONALISA HOTA. Battery type - ETZ 5 - SCRAP BATTERY S.L. No - 7L2045007 Mfg Code - 7L2 Date of purchase - 29.04.2013. In the warranty card it has been clearly written that the warranty period is 18 month from the date of purchase or 20000 Kms or 21 months from the date of charging. It is surprising how the stock period is above 3 months while it is purchased on dt.29.04.2013. Would you please reconsider my complain. Monalisa Hota. [protected] [protected]

                                        I purchased this battery in 2013, and is less than a year.

                                        Sir the dealer is harassing me, earlier too when i went that battery is not taking self,
                                        He returned me saying "its not battery fault"
                                        Then again i went to honda showroom for activa servicing, who said its battery fault, and for this i had to pay him for other services etc rs:1850/-
                                        Then on 5/7/14, again went to this dealer, with lot of pain, he has taken the battery,
                                        And said come after a week, also taken all papers and warranty card book.
                                        As such unable to write in detail about battery.

                                        Am also a share holder of exide batteries
                                        And have lot of faith in company.
                                        But sir while selling they [dealer ] promise that it will be replaced same day.
                                        Now he asks me to wait one full week,
                                        How can i manage my work without my two wheeler.
                                        Please see that the dealers dont spoil my companies image and do need full to me and all others, help full need and keep the companies image high and in good spirit.
