I had applied for Tatkal passport, and i received it .But i saw that the state's name is JHARJHAND instead of JHARKHAND. So i applied for correction, but now the site says police verification is remaining. On inquiring i found that it would take another 20 days. My sole purpose of applying for tatkal was to get the passport early. So in this case i not only will get the passport after nearly a month, i also lost money!!!

Police verification was done in before May itself.But till now I havent received my passport. Status in the passport status enquiry page on Ministry of External Affairs website passport.nic.in shows "OTHERS"...

plese refer my passport no.H0687058 issued on 2/9/2008. the address should be plot no 13, survey no. 12, behind kalpataru Nagar, Pune road, vrundavan Nagar, nashik- 422011, M.S. you have wrongly mention towns name as Pune instead of Nashik.
