Hope in present scenario when emphasis is on digital payment, strict actions shall be taken against the companies who are not supportive or not addressing the grievance of Customer. Paytm in this Case.
1st Case : 18.12.2016
Order food through foodpanda app. First transaction failed and i got msg/ email from both paytm and foodpanda so had to place new order. I also have a message from Paytm confirming the receipt of money from my bank for failed transaction but still waiting for refund of money. Even i contacted foodpanda and they reconfirmed receipt of only one payment and offered me support to question Paytm. I can extract and easily present the chat history with Foodpanda also for any legal action.
2nd Case: 23.11.2016
I used Paytm Wallet for loading the amount to Uber wallet. Amount deducted from my bank account but not reflected either in Paytm Wallet or Uber. I raised my query to Paytm care but so far not received any refund. In parallel i am in contact with bank also. In whole process i am suffering and Paytm (whose platform has been used for transaction) is not even bothered to help me out
For both case I have already raised complaint in paytm and have their ticket ref nos. 14374249 & [protected]. As a follow up I have written emails to Paytm care and also tried to reach via phone but got no response. It seems Paytm does not care any more for resolving issues. I am disappointed since I am regular customer of Paytm and doing all my transaction through Paytm.
These two instances got my attention but I am afraid if in past also such instances could have easily happened.
