I am writing to file a complaint against Paytm regarding the delayed delivery of the prize I won in their contest. Here are the details of my case:
**Contest Participation and Winning:**
I participated in the Paytm jackpot contest on 18th December 2023. On 30th January 2024, the winners were announced, and I was informed via WhatsApp on 29th February 2024 that I had won an iPhone 15 Pro.
**Document Submission:**
On 30th April 2024, I received an email from Paytm asking for my documents, which were to be submitted within 5-7 days. The email also mentioned a final deadline of 15th May 2024. I submitted the required documents on 2nd May 2024, well within the given timeframe.
**Communication and Follow-Ups:**
Despite multiple follow-ups and assurances from Paytm, I have not received any concrete updates or delivery details regarding my prize. On 29th May 2024, I was informed again to wait for another 5-7 working days. Today is 6th June 2024, and yet again, no response or update has been provided. Recently, I was asked to wait an additional 5 days for the docket details, but neither have they provided the details nor are they responding to my calls and emails.
**Unacceptable Delay and Lack of Communication:**
The repeated delays and lack of communication from Paytm have caused significant frustration and inconvenience. Despite their assurances of delivering the prize within May 2024, no action has been taken to fulfill their commitment. Additionally, the continuous non-responsiveness from their team is unacceptable.
**Desired Resolution:**
I demand immediate shipping details and a confirmed delivery date for my prize. If no action is taken promptly, I will be compelled to escalate this matter further through legal channels, consumer forums, and media platforms.
**Request for Immediate Action:**
I urge the concerned authorities at ConsumerComplaints.in to take strict action against Paytm for their unfair practices and help me resolve this matter at the earliest. Additionally, I seek compensation for the undue delay and inconvenience caused. Considering the significant delay, I request appropriate compensation as per consumer protection laws.
