Had a horrible experience with Pizza Hut delivery. On 16th May 2024 at 8.21pm I had ordered from your Sasane Nagar store. It took more time than usual to get the order to the Waiting for Delivery status. Ideally the order should be delivered within 30 mins but I have waited almost an hour but there was no update on your app and no phone call from the store.
I tried calling the store but was not able to connect and getting a response that person you are calling cannot answer your call. After waiting for more than an hour at 9.25pm I went to the store to check on my order. When I reached at the store, I was shocked to see my order was still at the store.
When I enquired about my order to the store manager, he said that the delivery partner went to deliver the order but was not able to find my address. This was another shock to me because I live in Swapnalok Society which is famous society in Kale Padal and the delivery partner stated that he was not able to find my address.
Then I asked store manager why the delivery partner did not call me when he was not able to find my address. Store Manager said that he will check with the delivery partner once he is back to the store. Then I asked him if he was not able to find my address and he came back to the store with the delivery why you did not call me and said that we are unable to locate you and cancelling your order. The answer I got from the store manager is that there was rush.
Anothe shock is that when I was at the store only two customers were sitting in the store and there was no rush. I doubt that any delivery partner was sent to deliver my order.
This is a horrible experience I had gone through and was not expecting this from a famous food chain restaurant. I have decided not to order anything in future from Pizza Hut. You have lost a customer permanently.
I have few screenshots which will let you know when the order was placed. One screenshot I had taken was at 11.08pm which shows the app was showing that my order is out for delivery. As I had explained earlier that I went to the store at 9.25pm and collected my order then and there.
The app experience is also horrible. When I tried "Call Hut" option available on the order tracking page not a single time I was able to connect to the store. I have shown this to the store manager and asked that if someone tries to check for his/her delivery and was not able to connect to the store how he/she will get to know where his/her order is and how much more time do they need to wait. He was quite on that. Another shock.
Anyways that was my story. Hope store manage will get a good message from your side.
