I placed order on the PizzaHut app to the nearest outlet (Brigade Orion Uptown mall, Bangalore) around 8.35pm. As per the app the order supposed to be delivered by 9.10 pm.
Sharp around 9.10pm the status on the app was changed to arrived.
Since I did not receive the order I escalated the same to PizzaHut help desk. The response I received from them is that “they raised it with outlet and someone from the store will contact me”. As promised someone from the outlet contacted and mentioned that the order was out for delivery.
As the order was not delivered even after 9.30pm, I reached out to PizzaHut again and above process repeated.
After waiting for few more minutes I escalated again.
Finally I gave up and around 9.55pm I asked them to cancel my order. For which I got a response the refund will be processed in 7 working days.
Eventually I ended up paying for the pizzas which I never received, wasted my energy and ended up hungry.
Now I keep my fingers crossed and hoping for my money to be refunded.
This is not the first time I had this experience with the outlet. Every time I place an order, ended up with spending effort in follow up and always the delivery is delayed.
