Dear Sir,
RBL Bank issued me a Credit Card saying that it is a " free for Life " in November 2020.
Later they changed terms saying that an Annual fee will be charged but waived if card uses are more than 50000/- year.
In Nov . 2021 they debited my card with Annual fee and waived off without any question asked. I informed RBL that I am not interested to continue with the Card if it is paid.
Again in Nov. 2022 RBL has debited my account with Annual Fee of Rs 999+18% GST = 1178.82.
Since I was using card very occasionally and had no saving Bank account with RBL, I activated auto pay of RBL Card with my ICICI Bank.
I had no uses for the month of Nov. 22 but my account was charged with Rs. 1178.82 on 10.11.2022.
When checked, I found that my card is debited with Annual fee.
I registered my complaint with RBL Customer Care Phone Banking and requested for cancellation of Card.
But instead of cancelling the card RBL started adding Late payment and finance charges etc every month where as I stopped using Card.
In the meantime I had two transactions and both were paid fully after deduction of auto debit of 1178.82.
I have acknowledged emails regarding the whole dispute.
I am struggling for the last two years and being harassed and mentally tortured by repeated phone calls and SMSs to pay the whole amount including fines and penalties .
Repeated emails sent to [protected]@rblbank.com
[protected]@rblbank....⇄
[protected]@rblbank.com
Now even emails are not replied.
They call repeatedly and threaten saying that they may send Recovery Agents to my house to recover the money.
I am a 70 years old Senior citizen and physically challenged facing mental torture from RBL Callers. They are behaving like gangsters .
I have attached a copy of statement showing that nothing is due except Annual fee and Add on charges.
I am writing this email hoping that someone will help resolve the dispute.
Thanks & Regards.
