Extremely pathetic portal. They never charge the full payment on their portal and then they come back at the last moment saying "your adv will not be published till you make that much payment". Even after making payment and getting a confirmation email, they don't book the adv with the publication. I am hereby attaching the screen-shot of the confirmation email and the of the tribune page where the adv was supposed to be published. Request you to raise my concern on a proper platform and get it resolved as soon as possible. Regards, Abhinav Kakkar

Hi, I paid for ad 1150472 but then I was asked to provide photo ID proof and same ad written in company letter head. Eventually, they missed target and I decided to cancel it. I as told you guys will deduct 25% cancellation charges. What outrageous amount? Any justification for that amount. If this is the case, do you think any one knowingly pay you? Please waive the cancellation charges.

Hi, This is regarding one classified (Ad ID : 1141264) which i booked for the matrimonial section of Dainik Jugasankha Guwahati edition and Silchar edition on 31-08-14 and the ad was to be released in the paper 07th September 2014 edition. But, till date the ad is not published. I had given one complaint here also, to which i got a confirmation that the ad will be published on 5th October's edition. But, its not published on 5th as well as today's (12th October) edition. I dont understand whats taking so long to publish one ad. Its been more than a month that i booked the ad and paid for it. Even after confirmation, why cant you make sure that the ad is published! .How long should I wait. Mailing the release ad customer care also does not help. I sent a mail that its not published on 5th october's edition. Did not get any reply. So, i am registering a complaint here. Please let me know whats stopping you from releasing the ad and when Can i expect the ad to be released. If its so difficult to publish it, then reimburse my amount, without deducting the cancellation charges as i am not cancelling it, you are unable to publish it, .!!!

I placed an ad with booking ID : 1144727 to be published on Oct 4th 2014(today). This was booked two weeks back. I also got a confirmation from them saying that my ad is confirmed for release. But to my surprise, .it hasn't come in the paper. I want to know the reason and I am extremely disappointed with your service. I want a refund of whatever I paid for booking the ad.

i am a lawyer in Hyderabad. I booked one ad I.D.No.1131265 on[protected] to be published on[protected]. I want to cancell the ad. But there is no response from the website.No telephone number is responding.Procedure for cancell ation was not provided. What is to be done.My payment oRs. 897 was made and acknowledged.Please do justice.I am ready to forego the cancellation charges.

I booked an ad on 6 June 2014 with ReleaseMyAd.
Made complete payment, and they confirmed that the ad will be published on 9th June in Danik Jagran.
On 9th i checked there was no ad published.
After repeated follow ups, customer care executive called and mentioned that due to Technical Error, the ad couldnt be published.
My comment: Customer Care Executive who called was very casual. Her comment: Mistake as happened and it can happen with anyone. There was NO clarification what that Technical Error was.
Then they assured to release it on 20th June. Even send a confirmation.
I checked in newspaper and ad WAS NOT published on 20th June.
Again, No clarification from them.

What I Lost: Valuable 2 weeks, Delay in applying for passport renewal, which resulted in losing an opportunity, mental peace.

I do not recommend this company for releasing ads.

They lack timeliness, professionalism, commitment, has illogical justification for things they cant do.

I had booked an ad on releasemyad.com to publish in Newspaper on 27th April 2014 which was missed by them and i an waiting for refund since a month they are giving replies to wait every time i call. i want immidiate solution or i need to file a legal complaint.

Going to releasemyad was my worst nightmare come true. They wasted my time, money and a created a huge amount of frustration. I would never recommend them to anyone. I was required to publish a notice of intended marriage for 7 days continuously in an English daily. At first things seemed ok and a customer service representative answered all my questions and I decided to publish and paid the amount and got an email confirming that the ad would be published on 7 consecutive days. However in their confirmation email to me they messed up the ad matter which I mailed and told them about on the phone and they promised me would be corrected. The ad did not come out as planned as they said the newspaper did not have space. This carried on for a few days after and once again the date got confirmed, but no ad in the paper, this just after a csr told me it would definitely be coming out. When the ad finally came out it was the wrong text! I was so upset as all these delays were holding up the paperwork I needed to process my forthcoming marriage which was to be held out of the country. They corrected the ad matter the next day and promised that they would give me a free day as this was the newspapers fault! On the 7th day, the newspaper did not get published and hence no ad, I called up releasemyad and asked why they had told me the paper gets published every day, they still maintained that it came out everyday even thought I had just called the newspaper and they said they do not release the paper on Sundays. The csr then told me all this was not their fault, there would be no refund as they ads were already published, there was no sign of the extra day being published and in any case it was a useless exercise since it was not continuous the ad was not valid for legal purposes anymore. I have now have to postpone my wedding as I cannot finish the formalities required for the marriage ☹

I booked an advertisement through RelesemyAd.com for name change and paid them Rs 1739 through netbanking. on 2nd May 2014. After several follow up, they promised to release the advt on 8th May in all editions of Tribune for which I had booked. The advertisement never appeared. The advertisement i booked . Ad id [protected] was supposed to appear in The Tribune dated 19.01.2014 . I had booked the ad on 09.01.2014. The ad did not appear on the said date. Since then I have been repeatedly calling their customer care to refund the amount which I paid. Every time they say that my refund has been initiated an I will get my refund within 1 week. I have called them as well as emailed them. Yesterday their executive said that my refund has not been tagged and no refund process has been initiated, he transferred the call to some senior executive who promised to call me after verifying my case. 1. On 6.1.2014, I have made payment of Rs. 1824/- for placement of a Public Notice advertisement in Kannada Prabha for publication on 10.1.2014 in Bangalore edition (Ad id: 1104201). I had talked to constomer care 3 times to confirm that the ad will be placed on the same day.

2. But, on 10.1.2014 I found the ad was missing. On checking up with the customer care of releasemyad.com they informed me the ad was missing as the newspaper (Kannada Prabha) did not take the ad as they will place only display ad not classified display.

3. On my repeated request, 11.1.2014 they have advised to place ad in Udayavani for cheapest rate and sent a credit note for Rs. 1824/- against ad id 1104201.

4. While booking the fresh ad (same ad matter) in Udayavani I found the credit note "not" working and hence booked a fresh classified ad paying full amount of Rs. 2091/- through icici onling banking facility.

5. Again the ad failed to appear in the newspaper and on repeated followups, on 15.1.2014 they have informed that the Udayvani public notes are published in Display format only and that I am to make additional payments for placing the ad in display format @ Rs. 200/- per cm.

If the newspaper does not accept "classified display" public notice ad why the online programme is accepting order? Why there is no information about non-acceptance of classfied display ad for public notice ads? Why nobody in Releasemyad.com inform in advance about its non-acceptance?

6. 15.1.2014 onwards I have repeatedly requested them on phone and emails to make the ad size 4 x 5 cm and to give the revised rate after adjusting the amount of Rs. 3915/- (i.e., Rs. 2091 towards unpublished ad id: 1104907 + Rs. 1824/- towards unpublished ad id: 1104201.

But, inspite of sending several emails and calling several times to the customer care numbers they have not yet responded nor the money is refunded.

Hence, I request you to kindly intervine in this matter and help me to get my money back with proper compensation for the mis-information and waste of time.

My details: Ad ID : 1098250 Booking date: 25-Nov-2013 Newspaper: Hindustan Times(Kolkata) Publishing Date: 27-Nov-2013. Brief History: I have logged a case in consumer forum against a company based in Kolkata. As the company didn't respond to the notices sent by the court, I was ordered by the court to publish the notice in the newspaper in Kolkata. Once I published the notice, the newspaper has to reach me before 02-Dec-2013. The court needs a hard copy of the newspaper for verification and further proceedings like arrest warrant etc. I have searched over internet and found Releasemyad.com and I spoke to one of the ladies there. I have learned that Releasemyad.com do not take responsibility of sending hard copy of the published newspaper. I have no friends in that city so I reached out for help from one of the ex-colleague. Her aunts stays a little away from Kolkata but has agree to help me on the condition that I have to tell her when my ad will be published."I HAVE TO TELL HER BEFORE HAND ON WHICH DATE MY AD WILL BE PUBLISHED SO THAT SHE CAN TRAVEL TO KOLKATA TO BUY THE NEWSPAPER TO COURIER IT TO ME" What went well: Booking ad on your website was child's play. I liked the interface and simplicity of the website. Payment was quick and booking was done. Events: 25-Nov-2013 Morning: Booked my ad sometime in the morning and spoke to your agent regarding the same. The agent replied saying that everything seems to be fine and if we have any issues we will get in touch with you. 25-Nov-2013 11:23 am: Received a call stating that I need to send supporting documents. Also received an email requesting for the same and giving me a cut-off time of 1:00pm. 25-Nov-2013 12:09 pm: Replied to the email with supporting documents. One was a scanned copy of the first page of the notice. Other document was the draft to understand what is happening. 26-Nov-2013 12:01 pm: Received an email asking for documents which has a stamp and sign. Received a call before email and the agent said that "The second document is not valid"(have a call record for the same). I tried to explain that it is a draft, but she insisted in sending a notice document with stamp and sign. This document has to be sent before 1:00 pm so that the ad will be published the next day. I had to go to the court to get document requested which is something I can't do in a single day. 26-Nov-2013 evening: Called and informed that I will send the requested document tomorrow and hold the publishing if they cannot publish on 27-Nov-13. 27-Nov-2013: I had couple of conversation regarding the document to be sent. Went to the court, got the document to be sent. Have sent it late night. All day I was not informed that my ad was already released in any of the conversations. In fact, I even remember chatting(name Koyel) for editing and made changes. 28-Nov-2013 The element of surprise: Unaware of the fact that my ad is already published, till afternoon I had two conversations with agents that I have sent the requested document and to publish my ad on 29-Nov-2013. I have made clear statement that if you cant publish it by 29-Nov-2013, hold it for further date. In the evening I get a call saying that my ad is already published on 27-Nov-2013. I WAS IN TOTAL SHOCK. Conclusion: 1. You people have no proper communication among yourself as you were still requesting for the documents in spite of the fact that my ad was already released. 2. The whole effort and money of publishing an ad was wasted because I couldn't present the hard copy of the newspaper by 02-Dec-2013 as mentioned in the ad. ReleaseMyAd.com had kept me in dark and kept on asking for documents even after the ad was published. I couldn't inform my ex-colleague's aunt about date of the newspaper before hand. 3. I AM AT TOTAL LOSS NOW AND I WANT COMPLETE REFUND. 4. I am not asking for compensation, all I want is my money because I have to publish this ad again in the future, but definitely not through releasemyad.com 5. I believe that if I have a problem with something, I will let them know. I am giving you a chance to correct your mistakes before "My experience" reaches the masses over the internet. i had booked an ad through releasemyad.com for publishment in dainik jagran issue of 28.7.2013 in matrimonial column. they got that published wrongly generating wrong ID, result of which was that ad did not got published in dainik jagran paper which was circulated in the city i live. AD id was 1079270. As i had paid 2800 rs to them all my money went down the drain as ad was not released proplerly. Even the GM of the dainik jagran paper confirmed us that it was mistake of releasemyad.com as they registered for the ad from kanpur getting ID generated as c-484(K). which resulted in not being circulated & published in all issues of dainik jagran o[censored]P & uttrakhand for which i had made payment. I ask for justice & refund of the amount. i had talked to Dainik jagran & release my ad.com CCE both are pointing fingers on each other & no one is willing to solve my problem. dainik jagran & releasemyad.com collectively deceived my. pls help refund my money or get ad published correctly.

I have asked to publish one name change ad in Punjab Kesri Panipat edition (Ad id 1038181) on 14th July 2012 through releasemyad.
Then it was not published on 14th, then they said, there are some technical problem, so they didnot print the ad. Then they asked to postpone it to 16th July and I agreed on that.
Again on 16th July, It was not published and I complained again to releasemyad and they said, it will take 2 days to get reply from Punkab kesri. Then I asked for refund and they agreed on phone but did not replied over mail.
Then on 18th they said, ad was published on newpaper on 16th. I checked the newspaper again, but ad was not there. then I looked into e papers and find that it ws published on delhi edition.
I have sent the downloaded epaper also to them, where it was clearly mentioned it was delhi edition and not panipat.
So ad was of no use.
Now if I am asking for refund, they are saying its published.
This is complete rubbish from customercare of releasemyad.

I feel cheated over this matter and I want my refund in this matter.

my name is Sandeep Sharma and I booked an ad through releasemyad.com on 20th of june 2012 my ad was to be published in Rajasthan patrika alwar edition dated 23rd of june. I have invoice with me that came after everything went fine with the ad submission,my ad id is 1036723.
Though the payment was confirmed and after two days I also got mail from them (releasemyad.com) that my ad is editorially approved but my ad was not published so its my request now that if you people cannot publish the ad then better refund my money
