Had a very bitter experience ordering from rentomojo. Could be there one of an accident but was really terrible experience for me.
I ordered a 3 seater sofa on the 15th of Dec'2021 (Wednesday). I was told, the delivery would take 48-72hrs, So I expecting it latest by Friday. I get a call on Saturday, saying the order is delayed & that i would recieve it only on Monday. I was pissed about the delay. But still told them to deliver it.
On 20th' Monday, I was getting calls regarding the delivery, but couldnt answer coz I was in a meeting. Later on when i called back after 2 hours, I was told that since you didnt answer, we wouldnt be able to deliver today & the order would take another 3 more days, since there is no more delivery today.
I was angry by then, because now the 72hour delivery had already taken 9days. I still asked them to deliver, since I wanted it for Xmas for my guests. To add to my mishap, on 23rd Thursday, one of the delivery drivers from Rentomojo called & apologized that the sofa is not available. Man, I was damn frustrated.
I looked for alternatives online & found another sofa from the competion. Told them about my situation & what terrible service I was provided. They delivered me the sofa on the 24th evening.
On 27th, yesterday, I got another call from Rentomojo, stating that the delivery sofa is available. When would I like it to be delivered? Hahahaha... I explained him, that the delivery has taken 13days & requested him to refund. I was refunded the money today (28th Dec'2021).
No communication internally among the staffs. Such a terrible experience. Needs to be shared.
