I had rented 1 two seater sofa and a 3 seater sofa with rentomojo. On july, 30, there was a pickup scheduled since i had moved the house. The subscription was supposed to be closed. The person named "bhoopendra" came to pick up the sofa. He took photos of the furniture which was in perfect condition and everything was checked. Once the item reached company's warehouse, it was broken. The company has debited rs.3000 towards it. The transport guy never shared the images at their warehouse which were taken at my flat. Also, when i spoke to him and asked for those images, he could not provide me the same till date. The issue was then reported to customer services and they logged a complaint. The complaint reference number is: req-geq-0430745. I was informed that a team will call me in 24-48 hours. It has been 4 days now and i did not receive any call, text, email. I contacted the customer services and asked for an update. I was told that the team tried calling me at 10:00 am. I never got a call in the first place. There was no missed call alert received, which is also activated on my number. When i asked about the day when a call was attempted, they did not confirm it as well. Their customer service has mostly been a nightmare. As per the agreement, i was more than happy to pay early closure charges, but now the way i have been treated, even early closure charges are unfair. I would like request a refund of early closure charges and the security deposit, i. E., rs 2880. Early closure charges: rs: 2515.50. The image of the broken sofa was not taken in the building. The tiles visible are nowhere found at the ground floor or on the first floor. I will be more than happy to provide any further details about the same.
