There is no way you should be renting from rentomojo. They turn your life into hell the moment you book furniture. It's a scam
They charge you when you order and most things turn out of stock afterwards. This is a lame tactic to attract customers. Because customers always want to get all that they need in one platform. One wouldn't want to pay different companies right. But all they do is put the things out of stock. That too after 6 days of booking and paying for the items. In my case I needed my 7 items asap for guests. After 3 days, more things went out of stock. And cherry on top, I asked their employee to delete an item from my list as I had paired it with the thing that is out of stock now. So, he deleted another item, that I needed. In the end I was left with 2 items that reached me after 15 days. Luckily my guests has rescheduled too. Their employees don't understand simple English this is very clear. And you have to spend hours to make their employees understand your situation. And they are just appealing customers by showing things in stock while they don’t. worst part is that after 6 days of you ordering, when they say it's out of stock, and you ask them why? Because when you booked it was in stock, they never answer the why. They say that the website is showing out of stock now. They never admit their mistake. I mean why do I care if the website shows out of stock now. when I paid for it, it was in stock. But they highly lack common sense.
Delivery was hell. And so was pickup. The 2 items I ordered were rubbed and scrubbed too.
Worst part is when they charge you extra without informing you. Because my guest, who was my grandfather passed away 7 days after the items came to me. After the month was complete, I thought of sending it all away. I asked them to close my subscription. First I never recieved any message for when it was scheduled for. Second, the app showed me a later date of pickup. But still their pickup person called me days before and said that pickup is today. The moment I told him that the app shows another date, he asked me to reschedule it. Even after constantly telling him that the app already shows another date, he forced me to message him that I want to reschedule. After my items were picked up, they changed the amount I had to pay. They charged me extra money without my knowledge saying that the logistics team don't inform customers that rescheduling will charge money. Despite telling them that logistics is also a part of rentomojo and they should have told me that I will be charged. They again disagreed to admit their fault and said it's in the terms and conditions, you should read it. We are not responsible to inform you. They are just there to scam you. Now i have to pay them a 1000 rs extra rent for their fault. It was so obvious that I did not need the items and that I had no stake in rescheduling. They've just made things more difficult for me.
It's not a good company. Pls don't order from them. And if we have more victims around, make sure you put up your negative reviews everywhere with all different accounts. This company ought not to exist in market after scamming so much. If I had enough power, I personally would have sued the company. Was this information helpful? |
