Rto Koramangala Bangalore — road tax refund for my car.

Dear Sir/Madam - I, Saurabh Rana, owner of Tata Safari storm with the Registration No: KA01ML3187. My car has undergone a total loss in May 2017. My RC was canceled as per process and me able to claim the insurance after the letter given. This complaint is regarding my Road Tax Refund for the same vehicle. Unfortunately, I got trapped by an agent "Baswaraj ([protected])" who has taken 15k from me in Sep-2018 and said the refund is only possible if I go via agents otherwise RTO officers won't process the request. It seems this is non-documented agreement with between RTO officers and Agents. He made me feel that my refund would be stuck for years if I don't go through him. Finally, I went through him. I have the proof that amount is approved on 31/12/2018 with the amount to be refunded is 1, 14, 640/-. The only thing pending is to make DD on my name. After so many follow up every-time he gives some excuse saying the office who make the DD is not available, he is on leave, so-on and so-forth. This is happening from last 6 months, and now he has stopped receiving my call. I request you to please help us (all such Indians who believe gov sectors are getting better) out. I am sure you must be receiving many more concerns on the corruption of the RTO department.
