With due respect i would like to inform you that you have taken a good initiative of online ticket booking system sbstc but the helpline and customer service is very poor. I booked a ticket (Rs. 160 ticket attached) from esplanade to asansol on 5/6/2016 and my travel date was 6/6/2016 at morning 5.30 am boarding from dankuni. As there is no contact number or bus number in the ticket i called the helpline number (Obtained through sbstc website) & got this number [protected] to know any further detail. I called this number on 5/6/2016 at 11.57 am to know the bus detail and reaching time at dankuni as i was boarding from dankuni, but very disappointed by the rude behavior of the person. I requested him the bus number and the conductor/driver number of the next day bus which i reserved, but very arrogantly he asked me to call in the morning after 5 am to know all things. On the day of journey i. E.6/6/2016 when i called that number again on 5.42 am, he informed me that there is no stoppage on dankuni and it depends on driver's whim to stop there or not. I saw a bus there at dankuni sbstc stop on 6.05 am and as there is no assurance of stoppage of the bus i booked online, i am forced to get there and have to take ticket (Rs. 155) again on that bus - karunamayi asansol (Ticket attached) even after showing the online ticket. As the bus was packed i didnt get any seat till durgapur and the conductor told me the every bus stops at dankuni. Even i saw a board also at dankuni for sbstc bus stoppage so why such misinformation was given to me?
I incurred monetary loss of rs.160 and physical and mental harassment due to the inappropriate, mis-behavior and wrong information given to me through telephone. Therefore i request you to kindly take necessary action against the person sitting there and please reimburse my monetary loss i. E. Rs.160 to me.
I further request you to kindly mention the bus number and conductor's mobile number on the e ticket for convenience of the consumer and as a service industry please give importance to customer service.
