I have booked a seat from Bankura to Karunamoyee by SBSTC AC for 8 May, 2023. The bus was scheduled to be departed from the Bankura depot at 5.15 a.m. I was waiting at the Satighat bridge (away approx 6 km from the depot) to board the bus from 5.15 a.m. But after waiting of embarrassing 1 hour there was no trace of bus and no one communicated me about its delay over telephone or message. At about 6.35 the bus came trotting at Satighat bridge and reached Karunamayee at 12.15 p.m which was excessively delay. I became very much disappointed.
I had an important meeting at Salt Lake but I reached the meeting after 1.5 hour. I have been rebuked by the higher authority for my negligence of duty and carelessness. And I think it will hamper my career promotion. under such circumstances I raise some questions:-
1. It is a long route bus. Is the bus properly checked? If not, then who is responsible?
2. If there was any reasonable ground for its excessive delay why the proper authority did not inform me as they had already my mobile number.
3. Who can compensate my valuable time of 1.5 hours? If my service promotion affects afterwards, who can rectify it?
4. Was I really negligent or careless?
If you think it was not my fault but it was yours, then I demand to refund the full amount along with a compensation of Rs 20000/- for my mental harassment, otherwise I have to proceed further legal action against you.
