Black patches appeared on the screen. logged complaint. Technician visited and told patches are due to dust. Now, customer care is asking Rs.2950/- as Panel cleaning and transportation charges, for the dust that had appeared due to visible gaps in the tv panel which is in turn a manufacturing defect. The cc themselves told that opening the panel involves risk casing damage to the screen but also suggesting the same at the expense of the consumer(Doc 1 -cc mail attached). The CC say that dust aint covered in warranty which is completely false (ref their warranty policy: https://thomsonhome.in/warranty-information/#:~:text=For%20Thomson%20TV, purchaser%20of%20the%20TV%20set.) I made several attempts in making them understand the problem but they threatened me of closing the complaint if iam not ready to pay. I was mentally harassed become they disconnect my calls and never reply to my mail too. I need replacement for this faulty tv and i completely rely on this system. Was this information helpful? |
