I submitted my FDR A037540 for redemption on October 18, 2013, it's been more than one and half months since then and I have not got
any communication regarding the FD proceeds. Every time I called up the customer support, I am given either given a new date or some
unbelievable excuses.

According to their policy, I was told that it would not take more than 15-20 days to receive the proceeds. Now, since you have taken longer
than expected time, you should also consider paying interest for the additional duration.

Now a days they have stopped replying emails and picking calls. I am at a loss; I would appreciate if someone can guide me.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is not the first complaint against the developer- Unitech and may not be the last complaint against them. As we all are aware of the delayed projects by Unitech, there seems to be no action has been taken against them. We as the common man investor, have invested our entire savings and on top have taken a huge amount of loan and have paid 95% of the total cost of the apartment in the Fresco project at Nirvana Country- Gurgaon in August 2008. But till date, we see no progress at the site and any intention by the developer to finish the project and delivery of our finished apartment.

We have a closed group of people on an email group plus have a lot of people as members on the Facebook group (please follow the link- https://www.facebook.com/groups/[protected]/ ) discussing the strategy to force the developer for finishing the unfinished project through various means. But in the end, nothing has even slightly worked on forcing them to deliver the project. Each time they have some excuse or the other to let loose the project schedule and delay the project by some quarter months than agreed time frame before.

My question to the body who is running the forum is very clear “Can you help us in forcing the developer to finish the project and with quality as they promised in their agreement or not?”

If yes, then please show us the solution as we have even tried to approach the TV channels and airing our complaints against them not nothing has worked.

Kindly be specific in your reply and if needed, I have many of the more investors on my Facebook group who can join the fight against the cheater- Unitech.

Hello All, Unitech has one project called Unitech Gardenia Mall in JP Nagar, Bangalore for which they have taken more than 90% from hundreds' of customers since past more than four years. They had signed an agreement of completing the project within 3 years and also to pay a return of 12% per year on the investment. Still after more than four years they have not even completed a single floor and they have stopped the work since past almost a year. Not only this even the return amount they had promised has got delayed by more than six months and even when we got the checks, it got bounced in multiple cases. We have been following up with all their officials but NO ONE PICKS THE PHONE or REPLIES THE EMAILS. Even there commercial sales person in bangalore, Mr. Sameer suddenly resigned from the company and vanished when all customers started chasing him for answers and refunds. Since then there is no sales manager commercial for unitech at all in bangalore. Another person Mr. Sachin, who is a very very shrewd and crook person comes from delhi sometimes, gives this and that reason and then vanishes again. Many customers wanted their investments back but even here they wanted to sell some nonsense property in Mohali, Laknow, chennai etc. and even that they never actually did. For more than a year Unitech told that they are waiting for BBMP approval, but when we checked with BBMP commissioner, he has already provided the Approval demand letter to Unitech in Jan 2013 itself but even after more than a year, these cheaters have not paid even the govt. approval fee. Surprisingly even without getting these approvals, they have actually constructed two basements two years back itself and gave false promises to all customers that it will be obtained within a week etc. during sales.They have eaten crores of funds (more than 90% of commercial property value) of hundreds of customers and now are simply ignoring everybody and are in no way even responding or resolving the situation. Its the same situation with their higher ups like Mr. Munish Baldev, Mr. Pritish, Mr. R Ravi, Mr. Ajay Chandra. They are all VERY Unprofessional, UNETHICAL People who have cheated so many customers including me. PLS BE AWARE OF THESE CHEATERS AND SUGGEST WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING IN THIS SITUATION. WE FEEL LIKE TOTALLY TRAPPED BY THESE SHARKS WHO ARE HUGE CHEATERS. WE WANT OUR HARD EARNED MONEY BACK WITH A REASONABLE INTEREST AMOUNT ASAP. They have even kept the names of the customers a secret and are not even sharing other people details so that we can not even contact them. (2), [protected] another lady name who attend the phone is pratibha (3) [protected] (4) [protected] lady name is savita devi (5) [protected] lady name is ruchi We first called up [protected] and a lady picked it up and she says that you send your address at my no. then i can do survey from Unitech Networking Private Limited . then after two days she sent me sms by LM-8000 and they asked us to transfer Rs. 3250 in saving bank account and I transfered 3, 250 to his account .THE account no is of abhishek sharma i get the letter from unitech infrastructure pvt ltd. c-26, sector -4a, industrial area mahipalpur, new delhi india pin 110037 from that addresse. Then the lady said that this document(agrement) is from supreme court and said to pay 25000 in her engineer account named is gaurang joshi a/c no. is [protected] of sbi as mentioned in that document. she says to me that your place has been short listed for installing Mobile Tower after checking over satellite . Then we received the agreement asking us to pay Rs. 25, 000 towards Business Tax and asked us to call for details. We called to pratiba she says she would recive your amount. she says that this payment 35000 is last amount I believed and transfered . The they called named savita devi from sbi to pay 22750 in her personal a/c as tds of your amount then i realize that she would cheat me.then i call to miss pratibha & radhika about that payment she also says me to pay in the a/c because this condition is also in the document i belive and paid to the a/c of aprajit rai a/c no.[protected] of sbi.SHE SAYS ME THAT APRAJIT RAI IS OUR FIANCER OF OUR COMPANY i sure released that this is fraud running this fake Company. then she no one can recive my call by any no.i call to consumer fourm call center and he says to do complaint about that company. under cheating and fraud .at 5 oct 2013one sms is comed from nexus telecom and to pay 24750 as service tax by LM 8000 THE ONE NOE NO. Dear team, I have applied for unitech fd as a dated on11/08/2010 with amount of 16000 /- for the period of 3 year after complition of 3 year i had received amount of intrest cheque.but i also apply for redemption of my principal amount as dated on 20/08/2013 through karvy from bharuch but still i not getting credit in my account so pls inform me status of my fd. I booked a flat in Unitech Unihomes 3 tower C1, I applied for loan from PNBHFL for the flat. There was a demand from bank for some documents for which i mailed Unitech group and called the concerned manager multiple times. He never replied to my mails sent and his Response in phone was also rude. There was delay from Unitech Group in sending documents due to which loan sanction was also delayed from bank. Now Unitech has imposed a fine of more than 1 Lakh and they are not ready to reduce it as delay was from their side, when we talked to Manager for waving the penalty the Response from Manager was "We have no where written in the documents telling u to take loan". They are reluctant to hear us and told us that if we dont pay the penalty amount interest will kep on adding to it. Now I am very depressed and dont know what to do and whom to approach for the resolution. Please help.

Before retiring, I bought a unit in Unitech Commercial Centre, Sector 71 under assured return. Keeping in view that I will be getting a regular income from a reputed builder (folish of me), I took a loan from ICICI bank. It was so planned that I will pay the loan installment by the returns I will get from Unitech after three years. When three years finished which was in this March 13 I was shocked to note that the Unitech has no money to pay. The first very cheque was paid after three months delay and now I keep on calling Unitech and they shamelessly keep in giving one date or the other. I am in such a dilema that if I delay my loan installment the bank charges me heavy penalty and Unitech is not bothered about the pain of a middle class retired man. Insult to the injury is that they have even not started the project and it is not possible to sell the unit at any cost.

First of all I was very much disappointed to note that you company has not laid even a brick to the said project whereas you had promised that it will be finished in three years. . We are a from a middle class family and can’t afford such financial blows from unitech.

We purchased a flat in Unitech Fresco in 2007. T We had to get possession in 2010 July. After so called 36 months got over we check Unitech and they told us that due to Shortage of Labour we will be delayed by 1 year. Then again in 2011 they said by mid 2012 we will get, Till Today ( 4 June 2013) we have not got possession of our Flat and we have made 95% payment. Even their clause of delayed Penalty for 5 Rs / Sq feet is a Sham. We are living on rent and giving 35K per month. We purchased Flat taking loan from HDFC at hefty interest rate of 12%. Now all hard earned money has gone into paying interest and loan amount. We still do not see any hope of getting our flat back. Also not to forget Yearly 4.5 Lakhs Additionally i have to pay for my Rental money. All this has caused serious grievance for me and my family.

No.A012287 Folio No.029195 For Rs.25000 interest warrant Ch. no.437774 of IDBI bank Dtd : 01.01.2011 for amount Rs.750 was issued to me .but by mistake it was missed to deposit in my account in time period. so i requested to issue new cheque for same amount as old cheque validity already expire.I have written for this but no respond given from company.

Booked a flat on 11th August, 2009 a Flat in the project o[censored]nitech Limited - namely Unitech Unihomes Ph-II, Sector 117, Noida (Uttar Pradesh). As per the agreement possession was committed within 24 months i.e on or before 11th August, 2011.

Construction has not been completed till date and despite my several calls and emails no satisfactory answer is offered by UNITECH.

We have paid Rs 44 Lacs to Unitech for Horizon , one of their prime projects in Greater Noida .This project was due for possesion on Nov 2008 but till date there is no information on company on possession. The delay is more than 4 yrs & have huge financial burden & mental harrassment due to Unitech failing on their contract. Tower 19 to 23 lie unfinished & there is no work under progress. Unitech is a BIG Fraud & has duped people like us, Their penalty clause is a mere pittance. We need our house. Can somebody help suggest course of action that we can initiate against this FRAUD COMPANY.

Bought a Unitech habitat apartment since 2006. It was supposed to be handed over for possession in Jun 2009. Its more than 3 years now (aug '12) and Unitech Group is not able to give possession. On calling them, they say construction is delayed due to recession. How can they delay, if they have taken 95% money from me?
Now different people say different thing - project manager on site says July'2013. Corporate people at Unitech's headoffice in Signature Tower, Gurgaon say - march'13.
They say some towers are ready for possesion. It is a grim situation. And instead of finishing the Unitech habitat, unitech continues to sell other new properties. can someone take them to court? And stop them from selling them new apartments before they hand over the previous ones?
It seems that they take money from apartment buyers and then use that money to buy land and get more new buyers. It seems like a big scam.

I have not received TDS Certificate for the financial year 2010-11 and financial year 2011-12 against FD no.UL/FD/B 008289 ,A/C NO.012486, DATED09/10/09 FOR Rs. 50000/-, WHEN TDS HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FOR B0TH YEARS.kindly arrange to send TDS Certificate at the address mentioned on FDR and send one copy each at my EMAIL :[protected]@ymail.com

I have received the cheque for principal amount 10,000/- for FDR no. 1007070 with my wrong first name ( PRAKAS instead of PRAKASH). I would like to bring to your notice that interest cheque was having having correct name .Yet , the principal cheque has been issued with worng name.
I have been following up with your mumbai based brokers from last 3-4 months to rectify this issue. I have not been able to contact you on the following nos.[protected],[protected],[protected].
With such a response from an organisation, i doubt the very intention of the company for payments with internet flooded with complaints about UNITECH.
I would request you to release the amount at the earliest preferably through NEFT transfer ( as requested previously as well) or an issuance of new cheque at my new address( request for which has also been raised previously.)

Unitech Ltd. had launch their project call Nirvana Close South in 2005. The target date of completion was 2008. Till date they have not handed over possession since th project is not completed. they are running out of cash and have no resoources deployed on site. They have jsut painted the building form outside so that to the general public who is looking for new investment they do not see an incomplete project lying there for over 4 years.

The managment Mr Rana Banaerjee / Mr Harish Suri / Ms Shilpa Puri / Mr Micky Bansal are all party to the delay. They make false promises and have been duping the apartment owners for a long time. Please tell every one not to buy unitech properties as they are running a big scam of selling projects and not completing the old ones.
