I have bought volkswagen vento automatic demo car from lally motors jalandhar in august, 2019. When bought the car was approx 15500 km run. Initially complained for wheel alignment and black fumes for which car was sent to service center by sales and it was assured to me that black fumes problem and alignment have been corrected. But sorry to say car is know 26000 km run and front tyres have more than 70%worn out which clearly shows that that car has been handed over to me with defected tyres or alignment was not at all done. Upon that new car rear bumper gets black everytine the car is run a small distance which clearly shows the service if the car at 15000km and decarbonizing is not done. Need immediate resolution to this problem as i have spent around 13lakh rupees with my old car adjustment and in just 10000km running these problems are arising which are not expected from brand such as vw. Need immediate replacement of my front tyres and servicing of my car free of cost to justify so as to why black fumes are depositing at rear bumper

    frequent failure of abs sensor in my vw polo gt 1.2 tsi

    Recently vw service centre at mangalore (Bharath service centre, adyar, mangalore) replaced (According to their advisor) rear-wheel abs sensor after i complained of abs and tracking symbol display on the dashboard. To my surprise, service centre does not give any record or receipt of what sensor has been replaced as the vehicle is under warranty. Unfortunately, yesterday, the same problem recurred with a dashboard showing abs and tracking...

    Ref to subject mentioned above, it is very sad to have experience with the service issue of volkswagen, which made my day (Yesterday 27/11/2019) panic and frustrated throughout.

    My only concern is that are we being made fool by procuring cars from you. At the time of you people are so polite and humble that no one can imagine that post sell if we call you for servicing even after the paid one you respond like inhuman arrogant behavior. My question to entire vw team is why.???

    Why you service person/ advisor mr n k singh mobile no [protected] scrolleded me just asking whether is servicing is possible today (Yesterday) or not. Even after last week i called him up for a paid servicing, he replied service center is packed and no available date is vacant till next tuesday.

    My dear friend it is your responsibility to make your customer aware the process of booking/ blocking for service..,
    How can we come to know that what docs are required to block the paid service..

    We are surrounded in such worst situation that there is second servicing centre of vw in patna where we can go and get our work done.

    Hope your understand the situation and you will take an immediate step to resolve the concern..

    I have the audio record of you service adviser the way of communication vw customers...

    Problem is still persist pls suggest how to get my car serviced any other place that vm didarganj showroom...

    We customer do not expect such behavior from vw and his team or his channel partners.

      My car regularly no tn 01 aq 5747 vento diesel high line 2011 nov model run 84000 km. I had given the vehicle for suspension overall and engine trouble with sundaram motors chennai. The suspension was done but they said the one of the injectors failed and had to be replaced which was done. But the vehicle failed again on the highway with same problem. The engine management light burning. This looks like hit and miss sort of service. I am vexed and would like a solution for this problem

        abs module failure

        I am owning jetta 2010 model and have been regularly maintaining my car to ensure it runs longer without any problem. This car has run 1, 42, 000 kms and now abs module has stopped working. German cars are supposed to be long running car and this is not wear and tear part.

        My intention to purchase vw jetta was to have it as a long term car without major breakage and i am really surprised seeing abs module failing. My family...

        worst services ever got. never acceptable from a legendary company like volkswagen

        Very poor service.
        I had issue with my ameo diesel and showroom took the car with help of pickup and since it happened in b/w first 2 year the didn't charge for that but also they were not at all succeed to solve the issue, they just did some adjustments to make the car run soon now after 2 -4 month same issue occurs but they are not able to give any satisfying reply. And telling the warranty is only for 2 year but the question is...

        I a v francis bought a new wv polo from phoenixcars thrissur on 2nd nov 2019. On nov.9 th right hand side bottom grill of the car fell off during driving, i noticed only after i came home. I believe it may be a manufacturing defect or some problem of fixing the grill. When i contacted the dealer they refused to accept it. Frist thing they are not having the spare with them. They said they will oder the part if i am prepared to pay rs4000/

          Sir/madam,
          I purchased volkswagen polo from evm passanger cars india pvt ltd, cheranelloor, edappally varappuzha road, kerala of about 2 years back and i had run only 17146 kms.
          first the problem started before 11 july 2019 where i experienced a vibration when i apply my break and i gave the car to evm vw service centre in cheranallor, kerala and they told the abs sensor is damaged and i was charged rs.3631/- for replacement.
          Then before nov 2, 2019 the next sensor was damaged and i was told to replace it again and it cost around rs.4911.56/-
          Then after one week the abs sensor again show the light and i am attaching the photo for your reference
          i purchased this car because of your reputation even though i got a lot of offers from ford, fiat, maruti etc and all and i have referred a lot of customers to you. Now i am cheated. If this is the way i need to keep a fixed amount every month to repair each parts get damaged for my polo. I saw a lot of customers complaining the same problem for polo and this will cause your customer retention.
          So i request you to waive the amount remitted my me and clear the sensor problem as it is your duty to make customer satisfied

            I am a bit worried and sad as well in the way the service center of EVM volkswagen kochi cherannalloor, has handled the service of my Polo KL 41P 2806 sent for service on 01/11/2019.

            While driving at normal speeds, but when the brakes are applied, the steering wheel will vibrate and losing the control.
            The issues are not resolved after service and service centre is asking to pay for replacing brake disc.
            Issue found couple of months after purchasing the car. It has been completed only 5800km. Issue started from 2000km.

              I have purchased two Volkswagen Vento car from Thiruvananthapuram showroom during the year 2011(Reg no TN 75 7788) and Tirunelveli showroom during the year 2015(Reg no TN-75 T 3294). I have repaired my car with Registration number TN 75 7788 on 09/04/2019 in Chennai at KUN Capital Motors Pvt Ltd for the complaints of injector with a cost of Rs 32389/- After two months on 03.06.2019 the same part and supporting part replaced with same complaint at Ramani Cars Pvt Ltd at Tirunelveli with a cost of Rs 65106/- (Rupees sixty five thousand one hundred and six only). They did not inform and claim the warranty. After two and half months on 28.09.2019 I and my wife was traveling to Chennai a complaint arose due to the injector was not fixed properly which is purely due to the carelessness of work done by Tirunelveli showroom. So my car repaired at Ramani car Pvt Ltd at Madurai with a cost of 34452/- (Rupees Thirty four thousand four hundred and fifty two only). On the way of Chennai nearby Villupuram at Midnight 2 A.M again the car had breakdown for the Fourth time within five and half months. I am aged person of 63 years and along with my wife aged 57 years in that midnight four way road, darkness and without and human being vicinity had suffered a lot in the road because of improper and carelessness work done at your canters at Tirunelveli and Madurai.

              Then again after informed Pondicherry the Star service Pvt Ltd through my son, they came and pickup my car again repaired the same complaint with a cost of Rs 36, 317/- (Rupees thirty six thousand three hundred and seventeen only)

              I have paid an amount of Rs 1, 68, 264/- (Rupees one lakh and sixty eight thousand two hundred and sixty four only) towards replacement of injector with the supporting parts and suffered a lot of mantle stress and agony due to your carless and improper service at your service station. Hence I want you to refund the amount of Rs 1, 68, 264/- spend me and pay me sufficient compensation for the difficulties faced by me due to your fault.

                I am a bit surprised and sad as well in the way the service center of osl exclusive has handled the service of my jetta car wb 06j 6612 sent for service on 17.07.2019.
                The car was kept with the service center for a very long time.
                The service invoices were made on 17/07/19 and 06/08/19 (Attached) but were mailed to me on 06/09/2019 after much follow up. I initiated the payment on 7.9.2019 as per the invoice, the car was sent on 8.9.2019 with no air conditioning, and i was not informed of the same. Luckily it was the same pick up driver who had come to drop the vehicle and he confirmed that the car was cooling while pick up.
                There after the car was kept in the service center with no communication for another 48 days, we had to finally go on vw india website and report post that we received a call and our car was finally delivered on 26.10.2019 in the same condition as was picked up on 8.9.2019.
                I finally drove the car yesterday 5.11.2019 for about 50 kms where i found that: the car was overheating with alarm of check coolant.: check fog lamp and check number plate light indication despite changing the bulbs.
                I feel the car has not been attended properly by the workshop and they have created more problems instead of solving them.
                I am very much concerned the way my car was handled this time by service center this time. I did not receive any call or sms which i normally get from vw customer care regarding the quality of service and my satisfaction.
                Request you to kindly ensure that your customers are not harassed this way in future.

                  I left my car vento bearing reg no ka 03 mr 5936 at your show room near mahadevapura, banglore to check up the wiring, while that time i have asked your staff to carry out the repair within rs 20, 000/=. A day before a staff from your s/s called me over mobile to get back my vehicle by clearing the bill of rs 38000/= i said him that the bill is too abnormal, i have already told you to carry out the wiring repairs within rs 20000/=, where as your staff whose mobile no [protected] has messaged me that "sir your vehicle is ready for delivery if your are not responding vehicle is parked idle here per day parking charges applicable"at 14:57 hour, your staff is not cared about my plea, is it is the way to behave with your clients, i will get my vehicle back as soon as you bill as per my plea when i left the vehicle for repair.

                    Hi,

                    I am having vw polo ap29cb9050 and recently given servicing and repair in the month of october 2019. The repair has been done for coolant. But team is saying battery dead while just handovering the vehicle. I was in shock and wonder why in a day or two my car battery is dead (It was replaced with new by service center for their mistake). Even they haven't informed me the same while inspection. Surprisingly they informed me after billing.

                    More over this is the second occurance, previously they done the same mistake while opening the doors and which causes my car battery lost and accepted their mistake and replaced my car battery with new 2018. This is second time they are reporting battery dead after bill payed that too just one year.

                    Please look into this issue and provide proper justification.

                    I have also informed the same to respective manager.

                    I have left my car at service centre.

                    Service center: vw deccan, uppal ida, hyderabad, telangana, india

                    Questions:
                    What was the battery condition while servicing car on the same month?
                    What was the battery condition, while given for repair in the same month?
                    What is reason for battery dead in a day?
                    Why this has been not informed or not included in the remarks or not communicated to me before bill payment?
                    Why they are handovering my car by starting with extra battery?. Why not infront of me?

                    Why they are doing all these activities in hide out?

                    Please ask the respective service center staff and manager.

                    I cannot put my money like this and they are not bothered about customer concerns.

                      Dear volkswagen,

                      I have been a proud owner of vw polo with the safety, stability, and comfort it had provided during a long or short journey. I have been recommending my family & friends to test drive vw vehicle before they make their decision purely based on my experience with this car and service center till now. But the current encounter with volkswagen service center hitech city hyderabad has disappointed me.

                      My car was given for body repair work after a stone hit the car & damaged the underbody on 14th oct' 19. The service advisor did the inspection & informed that 4 parts are damaged - oil sump, suspension lower arm, locking system & bumper & this needs to be replaced & they will go for insurance.
                      They even replaced the fog lamp cover without informing me thinking insurance will pay for this. When insurance did not cover this, they asked me to make the payment. When i refused, the service guy removed the bumper paint amount instead, saying that it is in his hand. I doubted was he charging me wrongly? Considering it was not much amount i ignored & made the remaining payment & asked the service guy to give me the car & all the old parts.
                      The car was handed over to me in a very bad condition. The old parts were in the back of the workshop so he took me in my car. As soon as the car started, i observed that there was a strong knocking noise coming from the car. The service advisor initially refused to accept this & said this might be coming from the engine. When i cross-questioned, he said this might be coming before as well and i have not observed it. He even said that this will go away after some time. This means that they just wanted me to leave & take my car.
                      I am driving my car daily and there was no noise at all. After fighting with the service advisor for some time, he said that the noise is due to link-rod wearing out & needs to be replaced which will cost me rs 6000. This they have also found when they were doing a test drive.
                      I had only 1 question, my car was in perfect condition before how can suddenly 1 part got wear out? When i gave my car to repair there was no noise at all. The job sheet that they gave after the inspection mentions that there is no problem with the car at all & neither i was informed over the phone. This means that during the repair or test drive they did has caused some issue to my car.
                      After getting frustrated, i finally went with replacing the link-rod. I was promised that the noise is because of that & replacing it would remove solve the problem. I made myself pretty clear that if this does not fix the problem, i am not paying a single penny & i want my car repaired. They even suggested me to get the tires replaced as it might affect my suspension. Since the tires were 5 years old & ran 35k km's, i thought that it's better to get it changed now only.
                      Link-rod replacement did not remove the noise at all. This means proper diagnose was not done by the service advisor. I spoke with the workshop manager, how come noise is still coming to which he responded that they will check and let me know. What were they doing till now?
                      Later they again did the detailed inspection & informed me that the steering rack is damaged and noise is coming because of this & it will cost me rs 22000 (Including everything). When i cross-questioned how come steering rack got damaged, they said that this might be due to the impact during the accident.
                      They informed me that i can rest assured as they will speak with the insurance person & re-open this case and this would be covered under the insurance.
                      The insurance person rejected this by stating that this should have been informed before closing the case. Now they can't do anything. Service people are trying to push me to speak to insurance to get this covered. They are just trying to escape & hide their mistake by redirecting me to speak with insurance people to bear this cost. The branch manager even said you do not have a warranty & if insurance does not cover this then i have to pay the full amount.
                      This is clearly the case of volkswagen trying to fool customers & loot money. They know that my car is not under warranty so i need to pay for everything they will say. They are taking advantage of the customer who is believing them and agrees to pay. Is it the customer's mistake to believe whatever they say? I am astonished and shocked to see such unethical practices and exploitation of the customers by such a reputed german brand volkswagen's dealership.

                      First, it's their job to do the proper inspection after the accident and find out what all parts are damaged which they did not do.

                      Second, how can they close the insurance case after repair without doing testing & detailed inspection? When they found during the test drive that there was noise how can they suspect that it is because of link-rod without doing a detailed inspection of what all parts were damaged which they later did?

                      Third, how can they be 100 % sure that link-rod is making the noise? This is clearly a case of negligence.

                      I will speak to insurance people once, but i do not care whether insurance covers the steering rack or not. I don't even know if the steering rack is really damaged. I reported this as negligence at the service center and advised them to return my car in a condition that i had handed over. That meant to fix the noise. They continuously refuse to take responsibility for their negligence and ask me to cover the damages if insurance refused. I have known of vw fraud cases earlier so i am compelled to think this could be a deliberate attempt to get me to replace my steering rack. If it is because of the accidental impact then it's clearly their mistake as they closed the insurance case without doing a detailed inspection.

                      I am having the worst experience with vw, fully frustrated by talking with service center guys and its enough. The service guy always takes me out to talk which means they want to hide their mistake from other customers. Now it is volkswagen's responsibility to repair my car as in my opinion the whole fault is of the service center and at last, i want my car in perfect condition in which i gave it.

                      After watching all the drama this seems that you need to strongly look after all your inspection team and service advisor as they are making some mockery out of all this. This was not at all expected by a global brand like volkswagen. Request you to look into this case on high priority & resolve this at the earliest.

                        Sir,

                        I have been a proud owner of a vw vento highline petrol mt (Ch01 an 3050) since 2012. The vehicle has been serviced regularly and repaired occasionally. The car has not broken down even once. Till date i was a happy car owner.

                        The car ac developed a leak and it was admitted on 9 october 2019 to vidyut motors, pune, for defect rectification. However they could not detect the leak and simply refilled the gas and returned the car on 11 october 2019. I paid rs 3561 for the repairs. On 24 october the car ac again stopped cooling.
                        I sent the car back to vidyut motors for rectification and it has now been returned to me stating that a leak exists in the cooling coil which needs to be replaced.in effect l shall be again paying for repairs which if properly addressed by well trained professional earlier would not have been necessary. I request that needful action be done to ensure quality of repairs and financial propriety of not charging a customer twice for poor repairs.

                          We are absolutely appalled and dissatisfied with services being offered at volkswagen downtown service centre at sewri. It is regarding our vento vehicle.

                          1. We had first registered the said complaint on 29th aug. The complaint
                          Was for the car stalling after 5 mins of running and then after 15-20
                          Mins its restarts. The workshop identified the problem as a thermostat
                          Housing issue changed the said part for an amount of rs. 13, 000/- and
                          Returned the car on 3rd sept.

                          2. The same problem started recurring again after 4-5 days. We informed
                          The service station about it. Once again we got the car checked at
                          The service sation but the informed it was find.

                          3. On the 28th sept we once again took the car t o service sation with
                          The same complaint. They returned the car after 10 days i. E on 6th
                          Oct stating that the car had a spark plug problem. It took the
                          Service station 10 days to detect the spark plug issue
                          Which is normally a 1 hour job.

                          4. Thereafter once again on 9th oct, 3 days after the car is back after
                          Repairs the car stalls after 5 mins of running. After much deliberation
                          If restarts. The same problem which we have being trying informed
                          The service station during first our first complaint on 28th august'19.

                          5. On 10th oct'19 the car stopps after running for 5 mins and stalls
                          Again and doesnt start. After much cajoling and taking up the matter
                          Authorities after 5 hours the said service station people agreed to tow
                          Away the car to their garage from the road.

                          6. Today after 13 days we are still awaiting the car. There is no proper
                          Reply as to what is the problem and no proper communication or fedback.

                          We shall deeply appreciate if some higher ups can look into the matter and undertake the matter into their hand.

                          Enclosed herewith are the service reports and the bills issued by the company to us. From the same it evident and speaks for the kind of services offered by the company. Absolutely callous and a money making racket.

                          With respect to your email we wish to inform the correct facts as under which i understand have not been respresented correctly. We donnot agree to the various contentions stated by your goodself which are highlighted in red

                          1.   

                          During the visit on 29th Aug we have done coolant pressure test and found thermostat body leakage and key remote battery was week, no fault code has been generated, with your approval we have replaced and did the trial of 9 km, where there was no stalling issue observed, hence vehicle has been dropped to your location by our driver Mr. Satish on 3rd Sep with Km 59753. even during drop there was no stalling issue observed.

                          ---  Car was stalling after 5 mins of running n not overheating. there was no ac problem either.  We were informed by your servicr engineer Mr. Yatiraj Gurav that the car is stalling becausr if thermostat housing leakage and hence gave approval for replacing same. So after replacement why the problem of car stalling again. Kindly explain. 

                          2)       During the visit on 25th Sep, there was engine light showing and sometimes vehicle stalling, for which we have did scanning and found (not approved)  1) Rear ABS light showing, 2) O2 sensor (G39) intermitted fault code (where we found wiring cut) repaired with you approval.

                          -----  As confirmed by your goodself here above that when car was sent again on 25th the vehicle was stalling. Why???? We had replaced the thermostat housing as per information of your engineer which would resolve our initial complain of car stalling.  Also a new set of issues had cropped up in the car after a span of 20days after return from your garage.

                          3)       During this visit we have done starter motor lubrication and delivered your vehicle on same day. ----- Sorry to inform the car was delivered on 6th Oct after a span of 10 days after changing the spark plug.  Does changing the spark plug tackle all the issues as stated by your goodself above?

                              on 9th Oct our breakdown person Mr.Naresh visited your location to check your vehicle, where he found vehicle is not starting and he had arranged towing and brough vehicle workshop at 4.10pm( where we checked and found)starter stucked which was lubricated and delivered on same ---- Once again sorry to state that your facts are all wrong.  The car is lying in your garage since 9th oct with no proper solution to our problems. Its over 18 Days that the car is in your garage.

                          5)       Now when vehicle is in workshop, we have replaced starter motor (for checking purpose Estimated cost Rs. 20000/-) and vehicle starting issue has got resolved and there is additional observation noise from Gear box side for which we need your approval to open gear box for further diagnosis with above attached estimate

                          -----Your engineer Mr. swapnil had informed us last week that he has opened the gear boc to check for some unususl noise. So that excerise is already done.  He also informed that the starter problem is resolved but the unusual noise is something they cant resolve So What next????.  Now your asking permission to open gear boc has no meaning and asking for Rs. 20000 for starter is not justified as your engineer had confirmed that with changing thermostat houding the car stsslling issue will be resolved

                          All of the above reiterates our stand that your engineers have no proper knowledge, taking customers ride. You as a company have spoilt our car  and now asking us to pay is not justified . Youll are out to cause undue mental harassement to customers and have become  a money extorting agency . 

                          Infact your goodself Mr. Poojary had confirmed during our telecon and have been promising that you will look into matter set it right and call us and keep posted. Not once has your goodself done any of the above. Sorry to say you havent even got your facts right.

                            I purchased vento on 2017 and my registration number is kl 60 l 9377. Last month my car shown abs complaint. On 16.09.19 i visit phoenix kannur showroom where my car purchased. They checked and informed me that there was a electrical problem they need to one day to rectify the same. They informed that they book a slot for my car on next monday (23.09.19). On previous day i just enquire about my car service schedule then they informed me that they didn't booked for service. Then they booked another slot on 28.09.19. On just day before they called me and informed that parts was not came. They changed my service to 07.10 19. On 5th they called and informed that 07.10.19 is a public holiday service is not possible. Then they booked another slot on 21.10.19. On 19.10.19 they called and informed me that their software updation is going that will not service any vehicle till 28.10.19.

                              Vw recommend pirelly tyres, why???
                              4 months back i changed all my tyre to pirelli based on vw's recommendation.
                              My tyre got busted during a long travel. It was not in a repairable condition.
                              Went to vw for changing it as its in unconditional warrenty.

                              After long argument with them, i had to pay 20% for the cost of it.

                              Not sure why i payed this money. Even vw guys also not able to explain. If they talking 20% for wear, then i dont think there is a 20% wear on it.

                              I have been hearing many cases of pirelli tyre like this. I think this tyre is not suitable for indian road.

                              Please go rather with mrf tyres which is costing only 3200rs. Where as pirelli cost you 6200rs.

                              Just a question to vw, for what basis are you suggesting this tyre to vw after sales if you are not putting this tyre for a new car.

                                We had purchased volkswagen polo in july 2016 and car registration no. Is mh 14 fm 9938. We took loan from sbi to buy a car. We got the rc from volkswagen without hypothecation. To comply banks audit we had to submit the original rc to volkswagen, nerul. Since jan 2017, i have been following up with them for updated rc but no response from them. I have visited rto also but it seems they have not even submitted the rc to rto for updation. Now my loan is also closed.
                                Please resolve this on priority. Provide me the original rc

                                I have an issue on my Polo confirtline diesel after emission software update
                                Engine noise is very high, But service center said that it is a natural voice
                                I want to audit my car other than a service center? how can i do that?

                                Mujhe complaint karni hai ki meri gaadi mein noise aati hai jo ki aapka dealer Ludhiana punjab se lally motors ka koi bhi mechanic theek nhi kar paa raha. Isliye mai apni gaadi aapki service se dukhi hokar bechne jaa rha hun. Aur agey sabh ko suggest karunga ki Volkswagen ki koi bhi gaadi mat lena
