[Resolved]  West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company [WBSEDCL] — Incorrect online billing

Consumer number[protected]. Bill Summary shows an amount of Rs. 4204.00 in July 2014. However the underlying bill shows an amount of Rs.2822.00 for for the same July 2014. The payment for the said month of July of Rs. 2822.00 was made well within the due date. However today the 5th of August 2014, when I go to pay the amount for August I see an outstanding of Rs.786 against July 2014 with a due date of 11th July 2014. I am hence denied online payment since there is an outstanding. This amount has no explanation. I need the following 2 points addressed immediately: a) Clarification on why is there an outstanding showing against July 2014 although I have made payments against the bill for the month. Also what is the basis of this outstanding amount. b) I am denied online payment facility because of the past due outstanding, which itself is erroneous, hence the facility to pay online should be restored immediately.
