Xiaomi India — Defective MI 4 handset

I purchased a MI 4 handset from MI website and it was delivered to me on 8th July'15. I have been calling MI since then as the handset is having major software and other issues. I have also undertook lot of troubleshooting including downloading of software (600 MB) as advised by MI customer care, without any success. (Complaint ref. No. 365011) In addition to MI 4 handset I also purchase a flip cover for Rs. 649/- from Mi which also turned out to be defective. (Complaint Ref. No. 350036) I have sent umpteen no of emails as well as made lot of phone calls, but no response as of now. I feel cheated by MI as they have robbed me of my hard earned money. I feel helpless.
