Hi team, My name is Wasim Madiwale from Hyderabad, Telangana. I have purchased Yamaha FZ V3 in 2019. For last 6 months I am facing front brake failure issue. I had informed this issue to the dealer on my previous service but they said my front master cylinder needs to be replaced and that they have no spare currently. They also charged me more than 5, 000 on that service stating various reasons for which I haven't even complained about while giving my bike for service. During my next routine service, when I raised this issue again my dealer told that ABS motor has failed and that he verified it by connecting to a PC. While asking them the root cause, they said it is a manufacturer defect of the vehicle and most of the FZ V3 users are facing this issue after completion of 14, 000 Kms. Since this is clearly a manufacturing defect, it should be recalled and replaced FOC by Yamaha. But instead the dealer is demanding 14000 for replacement of new motor. When it is a manufacturer defect why should I pay for its replacement? Brake failure is a serious issue and it poses risk to me. Please look into this and replace my ABS motor ASAP for free of cost since it is not our fault.
