Bill amount hiked by 4 times as regular

Dear sir,
The bill appears to be inflated as i know for certain that our consumption of electricity is not so high as to warrant such a high bill. I have received a bill of rs 16000/- on consumer no[protected]*8. Except for the last month i have paid all previous electricity bills without fail through online portal and now i have received bill which is 4 times higher of my monthly average bill (Ie rs 2000 to 3000). high electricity bill

Since lock down from march, every month till july'20, we have paid 500-600 per month through paytm.

Consumer id[protected]

Now i got message on 7th jul'20, that bill amount is rs 19610 due on 13th aug'20.

I have not received hard copy of bill.

Please clarify the bill period.

Bachelors are living, we dont expect such a huge amount of bill....
