I'm a Physically Handicapped Person, I wan on Santacruz Station East near bank of Baroda, where i was seeking a rickshaw since approx. 45 minutes, I came across this Rickshaw (MH 03 BY 5193 )Driver named Yadav, who firstly said NO for the destination & then started abusing me & asking me to wait for an hour since he wanted to give change to his current ongoing passenger as you can see in the image, hence I would like to bring this serious issue to your notice. And I would request the government to suspend the license of these kind of heartless human beings whomsoever it may concern. Thanking You & awaiting your STRICT ACTION & Reply over this.

I hired an auto rickshaw, gj 6 0703 (Jp 245) from atladara to vadodara railway station. The auto driver was rude and unprofessional. He unnecessarily took a longer route in the pretext of shorter road being closed. During the entire ride he was talking on phone. When i asked him to put down the phone, he started abusing me and even made communal remarks about my religion. At the end he didn't even drop me at correct stop, he dropped way outside...

Today on 25 Sep2018 I took a rickshaw no MH 03 BA 7403 from Mulund Colony to Neelam Nagar Mulund east which I take many times. The average fare comes to 45_50 rupees but this rickshaw meter was rigged or fast because the meter showed fare of 76 rupees. I pointed out to the driver regarding his abnormal meter reading which he tried to cover up There was no point in arguing also I did not have the energy as i knew the driver would stick to his meter reading so I paid him the full amount but to my surprise he took only 70 rupees from me which confirmed my suspicion as normally these drivers won't let go even a single rupee and the guy took 6 rupees less from me when I told him that I'm going took complain online
I want the respective authority to check this meter so that other passengers are not cheated and taken for a ride

I live in mumbai in santacruz east, five days back 20 rickshaw's refuse to ferry from santacruz west to the east... I had gone to pick up my nephew from the school at 5:30 pm and waited for half an hour to get a rickshaw... As they serve as a public transport they have no rights to refuse the passenger... Please heed into this matter and take firm steps for the inconvenience cause to the public... Thank you

I took this auto from dmart (Mulund west) to mulund east (Saneguruji marg) on 10th aug.
The total distance is approximately 4kms.
While going from east to dmart i payed 57 rs... While returning this rickshaw wala charged me 84₹... Total 6.5+ kms.
I kept telling him in between aapka meter charge jyada bata raha... But he was being very rude to me... I want strict action against him.

Today i caught rickshaw from international airport to chakala.. When i asked driver to start meter he said it wl b rs.80.. I told him to put on meter but he declined.. When i said abt complaining he said u can do that & matter of fact they dont afraid of any complaints.. Details are as below : mh02 ta-9172.. It was raining heavily & i have to get off frm rickshaw instantly.. Do d needful.

I took an auto rickshaw from Sunder Nagar, Malad West to Malad East. I left behind a black-and-grey backpack containing a phone, a music player, shampoo and important papers. If anybody finds this backpack, please call [protected] or [protected]. The bag belongs to my husband and its contents are very important. Person who returns the bag will surely be rewarded. In Vadodara, one of the means of public transport is Rickshaw. All rickshaws run on meter. But there are some rickshaw driver who give 'Fixed Price' . I want to lodge a complaint against a rickshw driver.

Please suggest where can i complaint. Looking forward for a quick reply

Excess fare charged by rickshaw driver (vehicle number # MH04 AR 9963) at Mulund Check Naka (W). I traveled from interior Thane upt Check Naka. The meter reading showed 7.3, however, the driver asked for Rs 105. I could immediately cross check as carrying fare card. After I asked him to show the card, he said that the fare was Rs 94. On checking, I saw that the correct fare was Rs 93.

Refusal to go/cum station by auto rickshaws at MIDC Andheri East, from Income tax colony, Near Meghwadi police station, Jogeshwari east
My office is located near MIDC and everyday ive to catch a rick for MIDC. today dated 27th june 11, i left my home at 9:30 was trying to take the rick for MIDC but every rickshawala says no & give some reason. At last at 10:00 am i ask one ricksahwala, he directly deny me i asked him why he started using bad words and saying he will not go, same time it self i call up police help line and registerd complain he try to run away, i was in the rickshaw that man was giving me warning that if i come with him then he will show me on the highway, i tried to hold him till jogeshwari east prem nagar market but he pussed me and hit me and ran away.

immediately i went to police sation and registrered complain against him at megwadi police station . complain no 1803/11, vehicle no Mh-02-z1918 please do something or send somebody to check the real problem of rickshawalas at incomtax colony, near meghwadi police station, jogeshwari (east )

its the problem for every day so i request you please take necessary action because every human being is facing the problems because of this.

Dear Sir/Madam, This is the complaint against rikshaw meter tampering for Rikshaw no. MH03V6448. I hired the rikshaw from Vikhroli Godrej Petrol Pump till MIDC Road No. 22. I am mostly travelling by rick and min meter reading comes to around 57 and max upto 65 to 67. But his meter went upto to 95 and he was asking Rs. 125/-. This is clear case of meter tampering, request you to take appropriate action against this rikshaw driver and owner of the rikshaw.

I reached Bangalore on Saturday morning, Mar-26,2011, and got down at Anand Rao Circle and got on to this Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number KA-05-AB-5944 with a fellow passenger, as we both heading to BTM Layout.

After getting into the vehicle and settling in, The driver/owner, of the vehicle named Aswin Kumar demanded Rs. 250. then I had no way but to negotiate and agree to pay Rs 30/- extra over the meter charge. The vehicle had no driver license plate which should be displayed by mandate.

After getting down in my residence, I saw that the meter reading showed over 23 kilometers and an amount of Rs. 169.00. I took the photograph of the vehicle and asked how much should I pay. Aswin Kumar, the driver/owner of the auto demanded Rs. 200. After I paid him, he demanded that I delete the photo, when I refused he used profanity and started cursing me and my family who had come out by then.

He then started calling his friends, allegedly who know how to deal with customers like me.

I dont prefer a public scene, hence I asked him to stop yelling and making threatening calls. I deleted the photo that I had taken settled the matter.

But even after doing all the things that the driver asked, deleting the photo, and paying him what he demanded, he started yelling in profanity whiling driving away.

I had memorized the number by then, so I have tried calling the the help lines for auto rick passenger grievances, most of the lines are not working, the email, we just have to email and forget about the incident. They never respond.

I am beginning to think the whole system is to loot money from common people, so why gripe about tiny but stark reality of auto rickshaw drivers looting passengers

This is not acceptable at all on any terms and this is pure extortion. If I have to go through such nuisance just for clicking a photo because I was wronged, and the auto driver gets away with nothing, it would be a shame on our legal system.

i am resident of pune. gone to mumbai for a exam of bank. at night around 2.30 a.m. i was at maitri chowk from where i wanted to go to gatkopar west railway station.at maitri chowk rickshaw stand i took a rickshaw to gatkopar west he charged me rs 185. i gave him. then from other rickshaw stand i came to know that he showed me a duplicate tariff card. the reading was 6.50. the other richshaw people told me that reading shown was much more as it usually comes under 5.50. and also rs charged was double. as on his tariff card 6.50 reading shown was rs 185.it seems that it was a duplicate tariff card used to cheat the tourist who is new to mumbai. please take a strict action against them and cancel there permit to set a example for others.as iam very dissappointed by these.as iam poor. as i got by a bus infront of him he knew that iam new to these please.so he dare to do these. these is a crime. it is a srious issue.
PLEASE PUT A TRAP AND ARREST THOSE PEOPLE WITH REDHAND.SHOW THEM AS IF NEW TO THESE PLACE. AND TAKE THERE CHECKING THEY HAVE TWO TARIFF CARDS ONE ORIGINAL OTHER ONE DUPLIUCATE TARIFF CARD.PUT RAID. WAITING FOR YOUR ACTION.

There has been an unreasonable increase in the auto fares in Mumbai city from date 24 june, 2010. The auto fares have increased by 30% which is not justified. For 1km CNG rates have increased by 30 paise but auto fares are charging additional 1.5Rs. for every 1km. This hike in fares of auto rickshaws in mumbai is not at all justified against the increase in price of CNG. The public is going to be greatly affected by this decision of the Government. I hope this matter will be seriously taken into consideration and quick and appropriate measures will be taken against this issue.

The Rickshaw Drivers refuse to take passengers to Mulund East Kopri Check Naka & Mulund West Check Naka from Mithagar Road.

Its very difficult to catch hold of them & argue with them in the early morning while leaving for office.

They act so rude & humiliate at times. So its a urge & need to look into this matter & take stringent action against these rickshaw drivers.

We went in for a special rick from ambernath east and told the destination to the driver. He asked for more money and we said you want more money .. ... He said either you pay or I will not go. We said we will not pay the extra money and he stopped rick at one corner and said am going to have snacks. We got down from the rick in heavy rainfall and started seeing other rick and saw that driver again coming back to his rick. What can be done on this ... we want to teach a lesson to the driver... Auto rickshaw no is MH05 D-6162.

The driver of an autorickshaw in Ahmedabad (GJ-1-AZ 948) refused to travel from Bh. Civil Hospital Campus to Ahmedabad Railway Station.
I would like to know if the drivers have the right to refuse to go to places where passengers want to go.
If not, then the next query is, what action can be taken against such drivers.
I mean, if they refuse, what for are they driving a rickshaw?
Please take necessary action or at least suggest where can I lodge a proper complaint.
