I bought a ring from Caratlane, Rajouri Garden store on[protected]. Within a year's time the diamond came off and I assumed it was a manufacturing defect. A second time after getting it repaired, the same problem was observed. So, prima facie it is quite evident that it is a manufacturing defect. Now that I don't have a warranty, the store expects me to pick up the defective item which has now been repaired, to which I disagree. The liability for the Caratlane manufacturing flaw cannot be transferred to me. In future if the same defect occurs i will be forced to pay from my pocket. A lot of my time is consumed during this process. This being my engagement ring had a lot of emotional value and such a defect on your part has left me with a lot of disappointment. Since my initial complaint, I have not received any meaningful response or assistance from Caratlane's customer service team and the Rajouri garden team.
I must emphasize that as a consumer, I have the right to expect a high standard of quality, satisfactory customer service, and fair resolution of grievances. Caratlane's failure to meet these expectations is not only a breach of trust but also a violation of my consumer rights. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify the situation and address my grievances without further delay. Failure to do so may leave me with no choice but to explore alternative avenues, including lodging a formal complaint with relevant consumer protection authorities or seeking legal redress to protect my rights and interests.
•Prompt Resolution: I request an immediate and satisfactory resolution to the manufacturing defect issue as described in my initial complaint. This may include extended warranty of 2 years or replacement of product with the same specifications when it was bought.
•Improved Communication: I expect regular and transparent communication from CaratLane regarding the progress made in addressing my concerns. Timely updates and a dedicated point of contact will demonstrate a genuine commitment to resolving the issue.
•Compensation for Inconvenience: I also request appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, frustration, and time wasted due to the unsatisfactory handling of my previous complaint and also taking into consideration the emotional value of the ring as it was my engagement ring.
