[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel SIM card not working in Dubai

I am an NRI working in Dubai and Visit my native in India once or twice a year. I had subscribed to a Airtel prepaid life time service SIM card in my last visit to India in the month of April'09. My SIM No is[protected] H 3 and Mobile phone no is +91-[protected]. It was explained to me by the Airtel Agent that I need to make a call of atleast Rs 200/- in 6 months to keep the SIM card active. So I was just trying to make an international call from this SIM but while using this SIM, it doesnt indicate any mobile network in Dubai. Now I am about to complete my continuous stay of 6 months outside india getting this SIM card from Airtel and hence I wish to use it and top up further to keep my SIM active. Notably this is not the first time it is happening to me. Earlier also I had got one SIM Card ( No HLR-2 [protected] and Mobile No +91-[protected] which was made inactive by Airtel because of this same simple reason of not using the SIM for 6 Months though I had balance credit on my phone while leaving from India which also I lost without using the phone. This time also I had kept sufficient Credit balance on my SIM ( more than Rs 400/-) while leaving India in April -09 so that I could use it from Dubai just to keep it active. I simply request you to look into the matter and provide a satisfactory service to NRI customers which is lacking badly with Airtel as of now. Kindly let me know the status oy my SIM card and advice accordingly how to keep Airtel SIM with me for further use in India without any pain. I Sudhansu Kumar Patro residing in sharjha has the same problem and strongly support the above issue, it will be helpful if i could access the airtel in UAE . Also update me about the given problem if it has been ratified, so that i could also follow the same path to make my airtel sim active over here ..

Hi My Name is Tersam LAL, very recently my Sim card also get blocked, My Mobile No. was [protected]. Please activate it, after doing so many complain to Nodal officer and calling personally from Dubai. But No solution. Only Auto generated emails i got from your system, after this nothing, no one is answerable in AIRTEL.

You are requested to do needful and activate my card..

My airtel sim is not working in Sharjah and it's shows unable to connect the network for long time..since this number is related to bank accounts and other purpose.can you pls fix the issue as soon as possible..I tried with manually selecting the du network also but no luck..
