[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel SIM card not working in Dubai

I am an NRI working in Dubai and Visit my native in India once or twice a year. I had subscribed to a Airtel prepaid life time service SIM card in my last visit to India in the month of April'09. My SIM No is[protected] H 3 and Mobile phone no is +91-[protected]. It was explained to me by the Airtel Agent that I need to make a call of atleast Rs 200/- in 6 months to keep the SIM card active. So I was just trying to make an international call from this SIM but while using this SIM, it doesnt indicate any mobile network in Dubai. Now I am about to complete my continuous stay of 6 months outside india getting this SIM card from Airtel and hence I wish to use it and top up further to keep my SIM active.

Notably this is not the first time it is happening to me. Earlier also I had got one SIM Card ( No HLR-2 [protected] and Mobile No +91-[protected] which was made inactive by Airtel because of this same simple reason of not using the SIM for 6 Months though I had balance credit on my phone while leaving from India which also I lost without using the phone.

This time also I had kept sufficient Credit balance on my SIM ( more than Rs 400/-) while leaving India in April -09 so that I could use it from Dubai just to keep it active.

I simply request you to look into the matter and provide a satisfactory service to NRI customers which is lacking badly with Airtel as of now. Kindly let me know the status oy my SIM card and advice accordingly how to keep Airtel SIM with me for further use in India without any pain.

Hi,
My airtel sim is not working in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE). I have even done a recharge of Rs. 799/- international roaming but still no network is showing. It's showing network is not registered.
All my India accounts - Bank, social media & stuff is linked to it.

This Jaisal, My Airtel SIM not showing network in Dubai from April 01.2022, All my personal Banking related this number, Making lots of trouble for me, My Number [protected], Try to connect manually that's also not working, So Kindly note this issue and retrive ASAP.

Iam unable to receive msg and OTP in my airtel sim, iam a resident at Dubai and even tried to manually select network to etisalat and DU but no use.please re-activate my sim enabling to get msg and phone calls on my number..

My sim was not working from last week. Now showing sim status inactive. I try to connect but still not connected. all my India accounts - Bank, google pay not working. all account registered Airtel number.so please advise me how to activate the sim again. So what I need to do.

My Airtel sim number([protected]) is not working in Dubai suddenly. Kindly resolve this issue.

Solution. Sim needs to be updated on home network every now and then. or else it wont work on any smartphones. better use any basic phones for time being.
And for better result you can replace old sim wit new sim everytime you visit India.

I tried with the basic nokia phone also..

I reached customer care and they said, i need to change the SIM.. but physical presence is not possible immediately.. there is no solution???
