[Resolved]  Airtel — Sim Card Registration Failed

My Airtel prepaid mobile [protected] service stopped working from past 8 days due to the error Simcard registration failed. Tried using a different phone but never worked. I tried contacting Airtel customer care many times and none bothered to look in to this matter.

I had already sent many emails to the Airtel Appellate authorities and a lady named SHILPA S replied saying that my alternate number is not reachable. When I replied to her email saying "Stop lying" and start resolving the problem. She then sent an email requesting for all non relevant questions like, hows the voice clarity, how many towers are displayes, what does the cell info display status shows and so on. Finally she asked me for the SIM number which I sent through an email. I have never got an update and my phone is dead for more than 10 days now. This is not acceptable since this is the main number my family and relatives use to contact. I have also raised a complaint through Airtel www.airtel.in/airtelpresence and no response till date.

Since it is too late I want some higher authorities from Airtel to look in to this and do the needful ASAP. I want Airtel to compensate for the loss that they have made to me and should pay for the difficulties I had to gone through because of their poor service.

I am from panjipara, distt uttar dinajpur, west bengal, have bought one airtel sim no. [protected]. SIM have activated. And from day before yesterday when i re-inserted my airtell SIM in to the mobile, it displayed " SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED . " I dont know how and now what to do?

I have been using the aritel number [protected] for the last two years...
I have submitted all proofs while taking the sim card and today
when I insert the sim it says "Sim card registration failed" ..its ridiculous..

Airtel is going down the drains with such stupid means of terminating accounts without any reason
I had a plan for six years validity which had good features & plans for data..now I terribly miss it..
Kindly help me resolve this...

With Respectfully I have to say that currrently I am living in OMAN from Jan 2009 , here I also used my AIRTEL PREPAID SIM CARD for my personel use in INTERNATIONAL ROAMING Because I have to contacts with my all friends from INDIA. but at that date of 19 DEC 2009 suddenly after 1: 00 AM clock the network is gone . I think may be local operator network is gone but then I try again in morning then see my local phone working fine & that AIRTEL sim is failed for network I change my handset the message arrive SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED .
Suddenly I contact Customer Care , nodal Officer, Applette Officer of my State of INDIA .but they all say this number is delete from his database due to you cant use 200 Rs in six month but now I have a point that I have 2000 Rs as a balance account in MY SIM card & one time BHARTHI AIRTEL LIMITED 100 Rs is also credit my account due to wrong balance deduction but at last I check balance 18 Dec 2009 It shows 195 is remaining It is fine that Because I use 725 Rs as recived incoming call from INDIA which is show that I use more than 200 Rs as a debit from SIM card balance
Then they say you cant rechrge SIM from up to six month for the Life time validity .Then I again say that if this is happend then why not ask me If this SIM card is exist from JUNE 2005 mins there is no reason to say & AIRTEL Customer CARE Say, now you can't avail for that particular number.
Now means Both Side AIRTEL is doing whatever We can't do. I also E rechrge in JUNE 2009 worth Rs 1000 & get balance of 1100 but till date of rechrge AIRTEL didn't tell me from JUNE 2005 that you have to rechrge lifetime .whenever I recharge my number My balance amount say that your lifetime validity is up to 20 NOV 2027.then what it means?
No whatever service is given by any mobile operator If something is inconvience related to Rechrge is not on time or regarded any service is banned they have to give alert message before taken any action at least people/airtel user understand that OK that much happening so We have to do recha rge properly
THIS rule is also given by TRAI to follow all service providers
Then if any rule is not according TRAI then it trouble for that Service provider in INDIA.
Now currently I am in OMAN & I have to come in Ending of JAN 2010 then may be AIRTEL doesn response me
Today 5 Days is going on but till date there is no any positive reply that after how much time I get that same number.
Because that number contain my all online banking transaction ,my asset information, my depriciation of money, all the notice is registered on my that number
Now I faced many problem & AIRTEL gives me mental tension & I cant live without that my number. I also forwarded my complaint to INDIAN EMBASSAY ,TRAI,DOT,BHARTHI TELECOMMUNICATION
Now till date there is no network in my handset
I have to waited for that day when my exist connection is woring fine.
Please do something urgently.
For GOD Sake save my life

Airtel — SIMPLY DEDUCTION IN BALANCE WHEN THE SIM-CARD IS CHANGED FROM ONE HANDSET TO THE OTHER

sir, my airtel no. is [protected] and it is used in the handset model S3310. When this sim card is set into the other handset such as SAMSUNG OR NOKIA,the balance in the simcard gets deducted by Rs2.This makes a great problem for me.I have also talked to customer care executives 2days before but still I don't get any response from them.So, I kindly request you to make such arrangements so that the balance doesn't get deduct simply.

I am using a airtel sim no.[protected]. in china since 2008. but from last few days its not working here, suddenly showing a message on the mobile screen "sim card registration failed" it cannot be possible because i am using the life time validity plan. moreover i got a recharge of rs 200 by flexi recharge by sms from india and the airtel company deducted all my money by activating different service like airtel radio, airtel chat, miss call alert and what not. even though i didnot activate any service. i have a option of receiving incoming calls and messages only, i donot have a option of sending sms or outgoing calls here in china with international roaming so how could i activate the other services without sending sms and calling to airtel company. but every time i got a message "thank you for subscribing airtel radio and you will be charged for this service" and a lot more messages while they charge from my account. i dont know what to do because i am in china now so cannot go to airtel customers service. kindly activate my sim as soon as possible. the calling no of sim is [protected]. thank you
