[Resolved]  Airtel — Sim Card Registration Failed

My Airtel prepaid mobile [protected] service stopped working from past 8 days due to the error Simcard registration failed. Tried using a different phone but never worked. I tried contacting Airtel customer care many times and none bothered to look in to this matter.

I had already sent many emails to the Airtel Appellate authorities and a lady named SHILPA S replied saying that my alternate number is not reachable. When I replied to her email saying "Stop lying" and start resolving the problem. She then sent an email requesting for all non relevant questions like, hows the voice clarity, how many towers are displayes, what does the cell info display status shows and so on. Finally she asked me for the SIM number which I sent through an email. I have never got an update and my phone is dead for more than 10 days now. This is not acceptable since this is the main number my family and relatives use to contact. I have also raised a complaint through Airtel www.airtel.in/airtelpresence and no response till date.

Since it is too late I want some higher authorities from Airtel to look in to this and do the needful ASAP. I want Airtel to compensate for the loss that they have made to me and should pay for the difficulties I had to gone through because of their poor service.

Hi,

I have a Delhi Number : [protected], which was postpaid connection earlier.
But once I got it converted to pre-paid, it worked for some days and then after around 15 days I started getting a message of "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED". I contacted Airtel many times and even sent mails to the cuctomer care but there hasn't been any replies from Airtel guys.

Please help to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Presently I am using in Doha State of Qatar with International Roaming last 1 year its Working But now its showing "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" before that I am not getting any message. My sim card registration has been failed, due to sim not used since last month.I had informed to Airtel customer care but they have no update about that issue they said go to your nearest Airtel gallery but here In Buldhana District there has been No Airtel gallery.So please suggest me how to Reactivate my Airtel Prepaid Sim Pls do the needful & Solve this issue ASAP

I submitted all the necessity documents for re-verification on 14th January, 2011. But, on 21st June, 2011 at around 12:30p.m my SIM Card No.[protected] of Mb No. of [protected] was rejected. I went to the Airtel Office, Aizawl, Chanmari, Mizoram to complaint. But no action is taken till today.

Airtel Sim Card — connection failure

I bought an airtel Sim card on 5th July . i submitted all my valid document but my connection have barred due to non submission of valid documents , i went to my dealer repeatedly to submit the documents, they told me that they already submitted but still there is no result, is it a service ? my airtel no is [protected].i have 70 rs balance, so i want to get back my service. plz send someone to following address and collect the documents because i don't know who is responsible for this but i submitted documents at least 3 times , now tell me what can i do ? my address is 23/1 m.m.feeder road , flatno 4b , kolkata 57, alternative phone no is [protected],[protected].
This was never resolved.
I was contacted by Mr Vijay from Delhi, regarding this.
Later I came to know my number was released and it didn't belong to me.
So he told me to pay Rs.50 for re-registering my number, since it was not being used by any one. A new SIM was provided for this Rs. 50.

However then new SIM also didn't work and when I told the same to Mr. Vijay, he told he will get back asap. But I never got a call back, and when I tried reaching him, I couldn't get to him...

AirTel — SIM Card registration

My mob. no.is [protected]. Very often there is a message "SIM card registration failed', and there is no signal. Moreover , I keep getting unwanted messages with deduction from the balance. I had earlier complained that such messages be stopped. Apparently The service provider does not bother about proper service. Both the above problems should be immediately addressed and rectified. Airtel — Failure to process Registration for over a month

I had applied for an iPTV connection on the 13th of July and I was informed that it would be processed
within 48 hours. Nothing happened over that time.
After placing a complaint I was informed on the 15th that it will be processed within 12hrs. Nothing was done again. After a few days I get a message saying that a new application is being processed, this is on the 19th of July. Even after this second application was not processed I was informed that the complaint was incorrectly registered by them and a new complaint was generated. Even after repeated complaints there has been no progress in the status of the connection. I had contacted the nodal office who are supposed to have a turnaround time of 7 days, they replied after 14 days saying they will look in to the issue. So far nothing. There are no developments or resolutions in sight. The service provided is appalling. So in case you plan to go in for a broadband connection rethink it. As long as you do not have any issues everything is fine. but in case your internet or any connection stops working be ready to run around in circles to get it sorted out.
