This is regarding unnecessary harassment & rash behavior from BlueDart courier delivery guy. I was to receive an upgrade of credit card from HDFC - waybill # [protected]. My cousin sister was at home to collect it on my behalf - the courier guy took her id card details, signature and everything and then because she quoted a different mobile phone number ( I have two mobile numbers ) the guy was rude, struck off all details collected so far and went off without delivering the card. I called up the same day and checked with the bank & courier, they asked me to leave my original ID with my sister and a second delivery attempt will be made - and based on the ID proof it can be delivered. The guy came after a couple of days and this time, inspite of my original photo ID & having verified my sister's photo id, apparently said he needed an ID proof from my sister which shows that her father's name and my father's name tally. When she tried to explain how that cant be possible, he again refused to deliver. My sister called me up immediately while he was there and I spoke to him - but the guy was adamant and said those are bank rules and he rudely gave the phone back while I was still talking, spoke rashly with my sister and simply walked away without delivering.
I don't understand what kind of behavior this is. Is this what you people teach your staff ? Cant you employ people who know the basic rules of decency and/or train them to be civil to customers ? Continue this and nobody will be ready to utilize your services. Industry is moving more and more towards a customer-centric service and you guys seem to be moving away as far as possible.
