As you mentioned that the issue with the touchpad button so you can update the touchpad driver and BIOS to resolve this problem. You can update the driver from the dell support website. Please find the link below for the same.

-Enter the Service Tag and press submit button. ( You can find the service tag at the bottom of the laptop on white sticker it’s a seven digit alphanumeric code which ends with BS or number 1.
-Click on Drivers and Downloads.
-Chose the Operating system.
-Click on Touchpad option/ BIOS and download the drivers.
-Restart your computer and check the functionality
