I dont understand why you people bring all these things,
A guy or a girl joined in Infosys is fine but they secured job with their skillset. If it is the credit of Glowtouch why dont other people who joined glowtouch as a fresher cant get into Infosys or some other companies.
Regards BA graduate joining GT.. common why do you drag him into this topic, this is the issue with developers is this guy working as a developer coming from a poor background ???
There are many more companies who appoint such Graduates from a different background they were also being paid a decent salary and also working in development. The reason we took this guy who came from BA is he dont leave the job so soon since he is from BA and by providing a little support anyone can do an email support after all there will be a QA who will scan all these emails and send them back if any grammatical mistakes poor fellow this counts on his daily target you people are dumb yar you dont understand others pains only thing you see is your life just grow up.
We just dont need to worry about this aspect, and lets forget about this here itself and do our jobs
I agree with P Raghavendra Chinna Swamy as he is 100% correct. There are many good resources who left this company just because of Russ Bromell. But we cant express all these things

I here by approve, every word written by Raghavendra Chinna Swamy is correct and portrays GT environment. I don't even bother to write against GT, a company, because I have same words as said by Raghavendra.
As far as other comments are concerned, there are people working in GT who are forced to post such comments by management, because these people are very innocent as they belong to Mangalore.
-Ashok Pai : I never saw this person writing a single line of code, always roaming with his known Yogish Pai network administrator.
-Savita : She is into Accounts management.
-Srikant Patil : I don't know him. May be Sham Hebbar forced him to do that.
Let me briefly point out the qualities of GT:
- It is not a software company it is shop only. No doubt it is "Worst IT Company in the World", they follow a culture called Kitchen-Toilet culture. They can kick employee within one day, but when employee want to go they want unexpected notice period.
- Most irritating thing in GT is : There is no respect of technical person in the sense GT has mindset of CALL CENTRE so they assume software development is analogues to attending a phone call. In GT management there is no concept of requirement analysis, only they have non-technical persons (call centre kids). They promise the dead-line of project to client, client gives the subproject tasks to these , They forward this task list to developers, in the same evening they come to developers desk and asks did you completed those tasks. All harassed person works for whole day and knight. When the task is complete, they reply email to client by saying they have done these tasks. GT have a gang of these persons (grass cutters).
-GT claims they pay you good salary : Till now you cant find a single water macnine inside GT, may be after 16 July they will keep a water machine inside GT if they have shame. 2-3 Coffee machines are dream.
-GT does't pay overwork to professional. Even salary is not credited on time, employees are black mailed for salary to pressurize them for deadline completion and give them tension to not to think comfortably.
-- GT also blackmails on salary delivery each time : Overall intension is to depress employee, to divert there attention from salary hike, or other company phone calls.
- Management is very political and diplomatic in nature, they play there game plan against employee with very sweet tong manner. Mr Ravi chandran MD of company say "Sir" to himself, how funny, and interfere to personal life of professional to gain his/her personal information, and he shows he is like your father to eliminate professional entity of the professional. If he is true elder they why he puts his employees into fire of overwork, and not to free them on SUNDAY and other holydays of the year. He himself enters into office at 11 and leaves office at 1 PM. His blood is blood another have water in there veins?
Sham says many of the talented professionals left GT because of Russ Broomell, if it truth, then why you give wrong feedback to job calls, if employee leaves GT.

I disagree for some points from chinna swamy and agree for some, but it doesn't mean that is wrong, as a company to secure in the market they have to bound to certain things to get projects from what ever be the source. If they are not getting projects by any mean how do you think you will work there. I will agree that they takes bond of 2 yrs if they are sending onsite but do you think any of the medium level company will send a person to send onsite with out thinking what they will get in return other wise they cannot pay to other people.Do you think people only in GT are working more hours? just go and see.Even in some MNC's people will be working late, if you have to complete your work you have to work late.
I will agree that salary bench marking in this company is not upto an extent. It is your duty to get for what you are working not one will come to you and tell ok i will pay this much, i dont think this is only the company, like that there are so many companies in that way.
May be Hebbar may need to consider this point as people loyal to the company from years are paid less when compared to the people joined new. This is a main concern even when i am working in this company. I have left from the company to get for what i am working, every one at some moment will do so that is a nature.
And for your kind attention mr.Swamy i am among the people who joined in infy from GT along with the people whom you are referring to and i like working in GT except the worst timings i worked in. Even i dont think people whom u r refferring may not agree for what you are saying.
And Mr. Swamy i feel ethics are not only to be for talking and posting it must also be followed. And i think you dont have any ethics to be followed.
And Mr. Hidden after seeing your postings about i have some commennts to you which is in brackets

(swamy I think you have never been to night shift and may be going before actual office hours, otherwise you could have seen what this guy is doing..)

Mr.Hidden, Do not comment about a person without knowing his credentials...You may have some problem with the management of glowtouch but that doesnt mean you write such false and cheap comments on an employee...Atleast spare a person like Mr.Ashok Pai who has been patient enough to bear with Shyam hebbars antics of switching his shifts from day to night and vice versa...rarely do employees agree to sit and work through the night shifts...But ashok has been humble enough to work in night shift without revolting with hebbar even once...And how do you know he has not written one line of code?????...Are you some Bhoothnath who has been sitting next to him all the time in invisible mode to see whether he codes or not...And FYI, Yogish Pai hardly mingles with the GT employees and also he is not that friendly...So no employee including Mr.ashok pai will roam with yogish pai unless there are any technical problem in his/her PC that needs to be looked into from admin side...

GUYs truth is always bitter..Raghavendra Chinna Swamy is 100% correct. I was working this company and frustrated with the work culture. I have moved from this company. The daily workers work in roadside betterly paid by this employees who wok in GT. Thanks Raghavendra Chinna Swamy for this public awareness mail. I would surely suggest better kill your self before joing this company and get killed here.

I am extremely sorry for writing the above post. I wrote like that since i am afraid that the GT management would suspect me for the whole forum so for my self defence i have posted this message.
Later after a good night sleep i made up my mind and i wanted to speak out. To be honest with you all GT does'nt have an professional ethics. Shyam Hebbar is not a real management Guy and he dont know how to manage things. Ravi Chandran tries to do emotional black mailing with people in and around GT.
One example for this companies idiotic tricks is i am an average candidate in dotnet and not at all an expert but still since these people dosent have any good professionals they made me the project manager in GT at some stage i noticed that GT need more from my technical skills than managing project so i silently quit the company.
God knows howmany late nights i worked for GT and at one stage due to late nights and less sleep i suffered with gastric problem and later i resigned my job.
Shyam Hebbar is a silly person who was working with GT from very beginning so he is not really a capable person to be a Operations Manager, He knows only to negotiate salaries or doing some silly business like a small general stores. Just for that very reason he tries to pull legs of young and dynamic professionals who entered the company like Arun K.
These people wanted conduct campus interviews in the regional colleges and get few young graduates and the job is for call centers the reason they pick them is they can pay less and make them work more and late nights.They will get a lot of publicity.
They do one more big mistake by appointing many poorly talented people just for the reason they can pay less and they engage them into development and finally the challenge grows with the Project Manager. Whenever i ask for some 3 members team out of which 1 member should be senior software engineer and they used to give me 4 members instead of 1 senior they will give me 2 juniors.
Avita Sirs PA. Also key person in management known for leaking all the conversations and information happend in Sirs cabin. According to professional ethics certain things shouldnt be disclosed but she does that because she is not a trained manager.
The other people who ever favoured this company are worth less they cant even get a job outside the company. I put a straight question to all those people why are they looking for a change now ? They cant even get job like me in INFOSYS, i Got the job with my virtues not because i worked in GT. The reason i again would like to work in GT is, here it works even if i dont work and they just give me a project manager designation since i came from INFY. They currently dosent have a capable technical person then if i come back they treat me like GOD unlike infosys. here there will be toomuch of expectations from me.
Last thing Sameena is one another lady she is working in one project HR+ since ages. They dont have any alternative for her so she still says she is an unofficial project manager. She is not all a worthy to be a senior software engineer but she is made as a project manager or project leader some just ask her how many years of experience she has ? ???

i know all get shouting in GT as its "GT Sir 's " way of dictatorship...but he was worst on me he told he will get me arrested if i leave...SIr is Mahan man...

I worked with full faith in the company, even saying NO to other companies, but slowly-slowly I came to know that these people talk very sweetly, to exploit the developers day and night. Emotional black mail in other words, specially by MD.
When I asked them for "Employement Agreement", they said MR. Janardan is writing format for legal agreement for whole company, ofter waiting for 20 days I got a single page normal paper agreement, specifing my name, designation and salary only, how funny! I asked them for 15-20 paged contents (Notice period, office timing etc etc) of the letter but they are speechless that time.
I really ashamed of being a GT employee. We all know the culture of any company, e.g every company give celebration opportunity to team who released Major version, but in GT when you ask for major release celebration, they will give you a CUP of ice cream. What will happen to the moral of technical persons working day night.
When I left the company, they were expecting 2 months notice from me. Mr. Hebbar! on What basis you were expecting notice period? Was there any agreement signed between both parties for terms and conditions ( 2months notice period)? Even you know bond labor is illegal in India.
