Dear Sir,

I was using HDFC card from last 2-3 years and was happy with the services but 8-9 months ago there were 2 transactions made from my credit card. I got this information from my monthly statement then I called the customer care to investigate this matter because I had never done this kind of transactions. When consulted with the customer care they told me that they are reissuing my card and will be received it to you in 2-3 weeks maximum. I said that if you can provide me the card number then I will pay your bills because every month I had to pay at least 1300 rs as an installment but they told me that they cannot tell me the new card number you can see it after receiving. I thought it’s ok if I will receive it in 2-3 weeks.

But I didn’t get the card till now and after that 4 months ago I had received a call from HDFC collection department and they gave me the only card number to pay the bill but it was including all the charges(late payment and Finance charges). I paid them 1500 rs through check and told them to please send me the card as soon as possible. But after 1 month I again received a call from collection department to pay the rest amount then I told them that please remove all Finance charges against my card number because it’s not my fault, I am ready to pay my installments if you wave off all the charges. They (as I remember Rahul and Nitin) promised me that they will send me the card and wave off my extra charges so on the basis of that commitment I paid the installments till December/ January. But some day back I got a call from collection that you need to pay the whole amount, again I told him the entire story but he threatened me and told me that you need to pay this balance in 5 minutes otherwise he is going to take some legal actions.

I made the following requests by an email:
·Waive off all the extra charges so that I will start paying the monthly installments only as I am a salaried person so cannot pay any extra amount.
·Send me the Credit Card as I have received two letters from HDFC stating that you need to clear you dues first.
·Take some action against the person who had called me this month and threatened me.
·Till Jan/Feb I had only 2 backlogs as an installment so please consider this matter on urgent basis.

But despite of waving off approx 5000 rs(Finance charges) they told me to waive off 1700 rs and now they have sent me an email that they are going to send my details to RBI credit .

HDFC — Credit Card Issue

From last 8-9 months credit card issue is going with HDFC and till date not resolved.

They have blocked Rs.20, 000 from my saving account in HDFC without intimating me.

Pls help...they are harrassing me for this.

HDFC Credit Card — never received the card

dear sir/ mam,
i have had applied for credit card in june 2004 in Delhi, from hdfc bank and i was refused the card saying that i m just a management trainee and not eligible for holding a credit since i m a stipend trainee and not a permanenet employee... and after that i forgot about the same and was posted to bangalore after my training, now after 4 & half years my 6000 rs were deducted from salary a/c saying i ve outstanding of 52000 of HDFC credit card. i inquired and was made pingpong between credit card dept. and debit card dept. after 2 months i gave up and forgot about 6000 rs and mooved to aurangabad and opened new a/c in hdfc bank. now this time they held my 38000 from my salary a/c saying the recovery of CC. i m left with single penny all alone in new city and still running between CC dept & HdFc bank...pls help meto come out of non sence and this bank fraud .
i have a doubt that this bank is useless and some of its employees are responsible for this fraud ...pls help.

    Dear Sir,

    Recently, I had a fraudulent transaction on my HDFC credit card on the internet. This was on 16th April 2008. I immediately contacted Paypal, where my account was hacked and the site where online purchase had been done. Both responded positively and my money was recovered in 48 hours.

    Contrast this with HDFC bank, whom I contacted within 2 hours of the transaction happening. They took 48 hours to mark the transaction as disputed. Also, till date, I have not heard anything from them despite my daily calls to the call centre. All I am told is that investigation is on and I will be notified in 45 days.

    Are HDFC bank credit card users really safe? In such an open and shut case where my e-mails to western organisations yielded results in 48 hours, HDFC bank seems to be least bothered about its customers peace. Worse they have not even realised, that the case has been solved by somebody else. This only goes to prove that HDFC bank plays games with its customers and in the end would say that the customer must have given the card number to somebody on purpose. One of their call centre supervisors Sushant had said this and I am just want to caution other users, that however genuine they may be, HDFC is not even going to do any kind of investigation.

      I bought the above mentioned plan on 27-Dec-07, from that day I have been facing issues and feeling like why I bought this plan and why I am doing business with HDFC SLIC where the service is very pathetic. Please look in to this.



      1. I have been asked to attend the medical test without the letter, where in I had to wait for the same.
      2. I got the policy document three months after getting in to the deal
      3. Even after submitting the mandate form during the policy preparation, ECS was not activated
      Every month I am paying the premiums by going to HDFC SLIC office in Bangalore. You can imagine my state in Bangalore traffic
      4. I applied for the online payment option on 18-Mar-08 in Bangalore office but I didn’t get any information about that.
      5. I don’t get any major communications through either by mail or by post.
      6. I again applied for ECS on 14-Apr-08, today I checked with my citi bank and they said that still they haven’t received the communication from HDFC SLIC for ECS.
      7. Executives from HDFC SLIC don’t bother to reply the customer mails or queries, even if they reply, it will be very rude.
      8. The business development managers don’t pass on the information to customers properly.
      9. The office in hubli/dharwad don’t accept the outstation check for payment, even if they accept that they don’t give you the receipt. When I have the experience of above scenarios can I believe HDFC to pay without receipt.
      10. But the BDM’s pass on the information to customers that they will accept the outstation checks and give the receipt as well. You need to go all the way from home to HDFC office and hear the contradictory reply from the HDFC office.
      Can I believe in HDFC SLIC?

      Its something like you have sold your product and left your customer deserted. When ever I see the HDFC add popping up in TV saying customer satisfaction is our primary goal, it looks sarcastic to me.

      Even after all these issues I have not got a single apology letter from HDFC SLIC.

      This time again I have applied for ECS and still its not passed on to citi bank, if I get any mail or post from HDFC after the due date to pay the premium along with fine I will not follow it up.

      I have seen one consistent thing happening with me from HDFC SLIC is that I am frequently getting in to trouble and there is not even one to help me.

      I have been associated with HDFC from last 7 years and I haven’t got any issues for banking and asset management. But I should say that the service from HDFC SLIC is pathetic.

      I will tell you why such things occur in HDFCSLIC. The reason is that In Kolkata, the entire team is led by a VP (Sales) SANJEEV BISWAS, who is basically Good for nothing. Sanjeev Biswas & his team enjoys company's facility & Perks but never worked for the development of any individual . Thats why the company is facing so much of bad Names & Policy lapsation .
      He will recruits RM & TMs based on his whims & fancies without considering any quality parameters . His TMs are never any guiding any field staff " How to do Quality Business" & instead only Threatening them for taking their Jobs if they donot achieve this many policy & this much value .

      Their High handedness has gone to that extent that on 31st July, Sanjeev Biswas along with his entire team upto TM level had a Cock tail Party in the day hours at Garia Branch Training Rooms . Which is against Company's Policies but they themselves will always violate . But they are very smart when the same happens to any SDMs . The same Sanjeev Biswas terminated one SDM of the same branch for entering the branch intoxicated but he himself is getting intoxicated in the training room of the Branch .

      Higher Management should immediately remove this local management to Save the Company from Bad name, Culture & Goondaraj under Sanjeev Biswas's leadership .

      I had applied for unit liked insurance and was told that the period was for 5 years. On getting the policy papers, i was shocked to see that it was made for a period of 15 years without my concern. On calling up the bank, i was told that the person who took the papers has left hdfc and joined elsewhere.
      Also the service is pathetic, in way of no reminders for premium payment etc.
      hope they mend their ways and start acting responsibly, as there are plenty in the market.

        HDFC Bank have put a hold on Rs 36702.08 from my savings bank account on 17.4.08.(seen by me on 18.4.08) Asked they say it is due to old credit card balance.Now they have issued me a Gold Credit Card which I have never used and not even opened their courier thru which the Gold Card was delivered and same have been confirmed by HDFC Saltlake, Kolkata Branch Manager, Mr. Bikramjit Mitra.

        Moreover they have not even bothered to give notice to me or any sort of communication to me that they are putting an hold on an amount from my savings bank.

        Now enquiring they say it was a old Silver Card on which I have a balance.(Do banks issue new credit cards to the same holder when he has an outstanding on an old card?-I believe never).

        I have asked for the documentary evidence for the same but they are not ready to provide any and taking me for a round and delaying everytime I ring them as they believe they have my money at their disposal and they can do whatever they want to do with the amount.

        Who will bear the cost of lost opportunity/ lost interest on my hold back amount?

        This tantamounts to cheating under Sec 420 of criminal Act and holding of information uder Right to Information Act.

        Request you to help me in this regards.

          On 23/12/07 vodafone has charged the amount of Rs. 1140/ -5 times instead of 1 time through my credit card no. [protected], also your employee from Kolkata misbehaved & talk rudely on phone which hurts me very much.I am using your golden credit card since 3 years and i am paying more than 1, 00, 000/-. So, please pay special attention towards this other wise i will close my account.

          i bought a kenstar microwave oven from akash sales, new market, bokaro thermal. pin 829107. on dec 2007 and the door of the same got damaged on 14th july 2008 and i reported the matter to akash sales regularly and i was assured for the service at very next week but no one attended. only few days before expiry of the warranty period a service personal came and took the details and assured for the replace ment in one month time but till date no one contacted me and when i contacted they asked to call anotherday and the matter is being stretched.
          please assure me the service from the company at the earliest for which i will be ever grateful to u

              non receipt of statement — credit card statement for march 2009

              my icici credit card number is [protected]. I have not received statement for the month of march 2009.Kindly send the statement by post and also E-MAIL immediately.
              My complaint regarding is that I amn't receiving my monthly statement on time.From last three months I amn't receiveing any intimation on phone also. Thats why I amn't able to pay my payment on time and always pay extra charges to clear the dues. I am very disoppointed.
              I am using HDFC bank credit card and paying regularly amount. After making payment to Branch Milestone Branch at Nagpur but still Bank is Charging me Late Payment Charges.

              Late Payment will not charged to me is already confirm from Collection execuitve seating at Branch.

              Everytime same is happening with me and no i dont want to continue this Card.

              Please let us know what is amount to be paid to close my account at the earliest and waive my Late Payment Charges.

                This refers to my complaint filed with HDFC bank about not crediting the cheque deposited in my Savings account. Some of the bank's executives were however was unable to trace the same till today morning. However, they've credited to my current account and are not accepting the mistake.

                Due to this mistake, I receive a SMS from HDFC Ltd.saying the loan went uncleared and I had to bear a penalty . Please note that there was a direct debit facility arranged from HDFC Ltd. to HDFC bank till the 10th of every onth. Dure to banks oversight, why should I bear the brunt of penalty.

                Kindly note the details.

                Self cheque from ICICI via cheque no. 419681 was deposited at the HDFC ATM at Catle Mill at 18: 18 on 7/4/2008 via transaction no. 3543 (Amount Rs. 15000/-) into the Savings account of HDFC (A/c No. XXX XXX XXXX3515)

                The same gets cleared by ICICI on 9th April and is reflecting in the statement.

                On 15/4/2008 at 16: 18, I receive a SMS from HDFC Ltd. about a uncleared loan .

                I am surprised and then check my savings account. No credit is reflected.
                Enquire with the bank and file a tele-complaint. They do not appear to find the problem and I start pressurising them. Then, at the complaints desk on April 17th, admit that amount reflects in the Current account (which I do not use at all). But the bank fails to do the rectification. On 18th, I once again file a e-complaint on the banks website.
                Again on 19th I call up HDFC bank and fire them, no rectification. However on 19th morning they call me and ask me to telephonically transfer via TIN (telephone identification number), which I adhere to.

                Kindly note that the bank is still not addressing my concern on making good the loss on penalty payment and in terms of interest accrued on my HDFC loan account due to your default. Also, they are not accepting their mistake of crediting my current account wrongly.

                Credit Card — irregularities in maintaning account

                I have a Sliver card from ICICI bank, i recieved my first statement which was dues on 18th Nov. Ipaid off the complete amount due on the card as per the statement at the lajpat nagar branch on 17th Nov.

                When on 25th Nov i tried to use my card it got declined, i was embarassed & had to use my other card. when i checked with the customer care depatment i was informed that my card has been blocked by their backend & the same has been done due to non reciept of payment, however post me telling her that the payment has been made, she informed that the request of the same will be taken & the card will be active in 14 days.

                A bank like ICICI which claims of " HUM HAI NA" & what not has behaved in an absolutely non prefessional manner post me paying my due on the same.

                I have as of now requested them to cancel my card. i request an stringent action to be taken on this which is irregularity in handling funds & accounts.
                i m ranjeet kumar and i am having to force to open account with HDFC bank and i did this process but still i did not find any kit from the bank and now i do want to close my account but they are not respondig me. and i m student and six thousand rupees they are not returnig me .

                I wish to intimate that I have a saving account no. [protected] in HDFC Bank, Saharanpur branch. I had transferred Rs 30000/- (Thirty thousand only) vide cheque no.263107 dt.1.9.2008 to my Provident Fund account no 1602111. The cheque was bounced back. At that time I did not have sufficient amount in my account. This cheque was accidentally issued because I have another account in SBI and I was a bit unaware of my HDFC Bank account status. At the same time I was having sufficient amount in my SBI account. Due to this mistake the HDFC Bank has posted a penalty of RS 350/-, which is too much. The transaction was made to the same person. Is this the right thing to post a penalty on such a mistake? The cheque was not issued to the third person or party. The bank is a bit too harsh.
                I also wish to bring it to ur notice that on 2.9.08 I had put a cheque in HDFC bank for clearing and the cheque was returned by the bank. The bank told that there is a computer system failure and the cheque should be presented the next day. If the customer’s mistake is punishable than bank should also pay the penalty. There should be the same rules for the bank and the customers. I hope u will take the note seriously.

                The above written complaint was lodged to the HDFC Bank. In reply to the complaint Mr. Narendra from HDFC called me on telephone on 27.9.08 through telephone no. [protected]. He threatened me that the bank could put me behind the bars for issuing a wrong cheque. How could the bank threaten the customer when they have already posted a penalty? This is complete “Gundagardi”. The banks can hire goons to recover debts. The bank can take automobiles away forcefully. They can do everything they want but the customer can do nothing. These banks have hidden rules, which they do not tell at the time of opening of an account. When the account starts operating they start to apply the hidden rules and begin cheting the customers. Kindly do something to protect the customers otherwise some day the bank will even threaten us to kill. I also wish to bring it to ur notice again that the cheque was issued to the same person and not to some other party or third person.

                This information was messaged to my mobile phone no [protected] on 19th of May 2009 at 9:23:26am. And since then I received 8 SMS to collect the SILVER Certificate, the latest reached me at 8:12:05am on 29.05.2009.
                Your message very clearly states that Parent is to collect the same with Children I.D. proof.

                I reached your branch on 27th May 2009 and claimed the same to the ladies in the front desk.
                Initially I was told that I must bring my daughter to collect it. When I argued she told me to produce child I.D. I produced Birth Certificate and School readmission Bank Receipt, she rejected the Birth Cert. as well as the Bank Receipt and asked me to produce photo I.D. from the school. I replied that the School do not issue Photo I.D. card then she asked for the School diary I said that is yet to be issued since the new session not yet started. So, she transferred my case to the lady sitting to her right who advised me to make an application on a sheet of white paper (which the 1st lady gave me).
                I wrote the application and then was told to give my mobile no, she checked the computer and told that the mobile no is not registered; she asked for the land number but told me that nothing is matching. I repeatedly told her to check the SMS in my mobile but for unknown reason she didn’t. Finally I was told to come some other day since the message that reached me so many times may not have reached your computer.
                I am sure that the whole story narrated above makes some sense to you and your organization regarding your way of working and response to a simple man like me who traveled from Serampore to collect the valuable HDFC SILVER Certificate.
                Please do the needful from your end and issue me the same at an early date.

                I've deposited a cheque on 11th of July 2009 (Saturday), it was updated on 13th of July 2009. However, the cheque was sent to some wrong branch or what I don't know about that. But you people are there to serve us or to question us ? this is ridiculous. If the cheque is not entertained by 2 days then I have to sue on the bank.
                I applied for address change to HDFC Bank. I was having the account with HDFC from past more than 3 years. They took 2.5 week to change the address, then I raise the compaint and they took 3 days to call me back and told that sir, you didn't provided pin number. They are working like goverment department. Event other bank like ICICI bank are better in customer service then HDFC bank. Atleast if we will make mistake they will tell us immediately.
                HDFC service is so poor u people do not taking care of your customers not even your phone banker i will never recommend HDFC bank to anybody for any thing. I have a sallery account in your bank(No. [protected]) and i am facing so many problem from last few months with HDFC bank now the latest problem is on the date of 2/10/2009 i did not went to any ATM but its Rs 200/- are deducted from my account next day on 3/10/2009 i tried to withdraw same amount in Axis bank ATM it was denied then i moved toward SBI ATM where i got Rs200/- but the amount deducted is Rs 400/- and when i check my mini statement it was deducted on 2/10/2009 when i did not went to any ATM aur Branch so who removed the amount but on the slip of SBI i can see that Mod balance was Rs 10169/- and after withdrawal of Rs200/- the avail balance is Rs 9769/-, And the call center people are so harsh, they did not answer u properly, i always have horrible experience with HDFC Bank i will prefer the ICIC bank instead of HDFC in customer service

                I am a user of HDFC Credit card [protected] from last more then one and half year and also holding the salary account in HDFC Bank from two years, both with a very clear credit history.

                This month due to some unavoidable circumstances at my family i could not make the payment on the due date 09.10.09 for the month of 19.09.09.I got frequent calls from some of the collection agency for HDFC Bank today i.e 19.10.09 from the no[protected],[protected].Although i know the executive did not give his right name, he addressed himself first as some Mr Amit and later as Mr Nikhil Chopra which i got to know later on from the Vishwas Nagar, Shahdara Branch of yours that these names are fake.

                I feel so disappointed that a Bank like HDFC has recruited such non professional staff for handling their customers.I was addressed like this"Madam, if you dont have the money to pay then why do you shop?""Dont shop when you cant pay" "answer me when will you pay"these sentence was repeated to insult me again and again by the executive.I straight away went to the nearest branch at Vishwas Nagar, Shahdara, and i lodged the complaint in the written to Mr Pankil (Relationship Manger).At the same time, i again got the call from the above mentioned number from the same guy and he used the same abusive language with Mr Pankil as he was not knowing that he is speaking to one of the HDFC Personnel, as Mr Pankil addressed himself as my elder brother on phone who takes care of my credit card payments.

                Although Mr Pankil was able to satisfy me with the support that i can mention his name in my written complaint as an evidence of the abusive and unprofessional language used from the collection agency perhaps?

                My purpose of writing a mail is not just to write and let you know but i would want an action infact an immediate action on this, and a written apology from the Bank.i believe HDFC Bank should hold the responsibilty for this incidence completley as the recruitment has been so poor and unethical.

                Before i take the next step of taking the complaint to consumer court for harrasing me mentally, causing me stress and nervousness, and use of abusive language on a professional call, action would be desirable.

                I am Ranganath Sharma, having salary account in HDFC bank account dept...

                As in the process i have applied for the Personal Laon... ( Exe : Somaiah ) and document collector is Ashok.

                As per the conversation over the phone with Somaiah[protected] as per his suggestion loan amount will be pushed upto 2lacs ...

                In the conversation he has mentioned about the interset rate, processing charges and insurance ( 1500 rs ).

                After submitting all the documents to the bank ..i had received 4 calls from the customer care enquiry about the myself ...in the process i have spoken to a lady from crdit department ( Divya ) as per her statement she has clearly mentioned that ther will be Waveoff of the Insurance from ther side as i was not coming under that category ...and she also mentioned that i will be deducted only the 2% processing charges.

                later after 2days i had executive coming in to my office ( Rajesh ) ...at that time also he has also mentioned that the insurance amount will be waived offf and i wont be getting any deduction on that ( Insurance )

                After all these i have got the amount of 181000 RS on 21-jun-2008 wherein more than 6000 have beeen deducted ...i was shocked to see this and surprised.

                as per the bank officials stated me that the amount of 187000 is the amount approved for myself.

                Calculation : 187000*2/100 = 3740
                =[protected] = 183260
                Agreement charges :[protected] = 183110

                RS 183110 is the amount what i should have got from the bank but i got only 181000 which is 2000Rs lesser than what i expected.

                when i called up to ask regarding the same ...they are telling that its INSURANCE ...again shocked and surprised ...

                I just want expalnation on this why ther is dislink between the departments as they are not sure of what they are telling ...and each every is giving different to the customer.

                and i also dont where the money is going ...and to who;s pocket.

                Please do investigate or else please educate the People of different departments.

                And I am very much disappointed with HDFC ...

I spent a lot to call your customercare and there such a bad response and false promises. Your customer care people often tell that they would call me and response within 24 hours. But, I have received nothing so far. I do not like to critize people but in this I have no words to criticize you. I should receive call tomorrow regarding this. Kindly see the complaint records and credit my money as soon as possible. There should be no further delays and reasons in this.

                Further, I have submitted the charge back form last month 19th. Do the needful at the earliest. I am really disappointed of your poor service.

                I have loads of complaints for HDFC bank; These bank officials are corrupt; they always look for a bribe; I requested change of the address two times; once the form was filled up by them and they give tear copy, to my surprise they changed the form and added unnecessary lines to my address that was not supported by my address proof. Another time i went to bank with similar request and i filled up the form and to my surprise again they added additional items to my address and they did not change it.
                I wanted housing loan since i maintained the account there and you won't believe they did not bother to take even my application.

                HDFC bank is lousy and i will not r recommend to deal with the same if you another option. You do not feel secure.

                Myself Raman Tyagi, I had a Credit Card of ABN AMRO BANK on 2005. I always paid regular payment when I hold that Credit card. After 11month I had no need of that credit card than I tell to customer care person please tell me full and final payment then I give go to you and I settled it. Then they told me you give 594/- Rs. Payment for full and final payment to repasentative that time I am not in home then my wife give 594/- Rs. Cheque to that person after 5 month they again call me your some payment is pending that time I again ask to customer care please tell me what is your full and final payment .that time they told me you give only 317/- Rs. for full and final settlement. Then I again gave to them that amount cheque and on that payment time I told to that gay who come for payment please write Full and final settlement then he ask to his manager then he write the full and final settlement on me receipt . after give this payment every 6 month they call me and abusing me and my family, tell your payment is due and now they give my file to SABI and now I want some lone and credit card then citi bank tell to me your SABI give low rank please help and save me to this case.

                I have visited to HDFC bank (East of kailash) Branch, My purpose was to make correction in address / address change. Staff was not helpful and not even guiding me well that what document should I provide for that. One of female executive even said that this cannot be done from here because your account is with noida branch. I have told her that I lived here in east of kailash but still she was continuing saying this. Second executive was very rude I was sitting and no one standing behind me and he said that wait for some time and sit on the next chair and there was no chair vacant at that time.
                I felt very bad and I have immediate left from there.

                    If someone is planning to invest the money with HDFC standard life policies, please do not choose this option. Its better to let govt deduct the tax. After two years I came to know that NAV of my hard money is now less than 50% because first year they deducted 60% of the installment amount as charges (paid 20000 and bank deducted 12000 as bla bla bla...charges) which was never told to me.
                    Yesterday i got the statement and shocked when I saw the NAV. Today when i called customer care then i came to know all these false and/or hidden conditions. Till now I lost approx 18000 rs whereas i have paid 40000 to the bank in last two year. You will be surprised to hear that HDFC CSR told me that you will get 40-50% returns per year but I'm loosing 40-50% per year. Thanks

                      I have savings A/c with HFDFC Bank, Bodakdev Ahmedabad Branch, Gujarat. On 16th April I received a mail from [protected]@hdfcbank.com that 1000Rs debited from my A/c for online payment, which was a Fraudulent transactions. I lodged several complaints on 16thApril. Inspite of that on 16thapril 2000 Rs & on 17April 8000 Rs debited from my A/c, which is fraudulent. After so many mails today they blocked my netbanking facilty. HDFC bank's official's attitude is casual. They dont care for their customer. I am totally clueless. I have been cheated due to HDFC Bank's sheer crelessness.
                      yes for last two years Hdfc Banks activity is not satisfactory. Clients harrasment, Direct fund reduce from on line SB a/c without any previous notice to their customer against credit card dues. I can't understand how bank adjusted SB accounts fund against credit card due without any permission of customer. Is it any law ? Have any RBI Rule regarding this matter? I don't know, any person can write regarding this matter.

                        I have a simple story to share with you regarding how i have been suffering from "Deadly Menace Called HDFC ".I have opened a savings bank account in HDFC Bank Konnagar Branch when it had just started sailing which contains my complete signature .After that i have joined a MNC as a Engineer and for which my company asked me to open a salary account in the same bank.I opened it when their executive visited our office premises.That account was opened with my short official signature.After that i applied for my comany's ESOP from the newly opened salary account with the official short signature.But unfortuenately i didn't get a singler share even being the employee .The reason was signature was signature mismatch between my cheque's signature and account holder's signature.Later when i contacted the Bank for clarification about the signature change they told me that they put new account under the same umbrella to which my old account belongs to and as a result of which, my signature was chaged.But without intimating the customer, how can a bank changes the signature of account holder.This was the only question came to my mind.I have communicated with the bank in different mode but they didn't bother reply back me.But my query to all the concerned people, that who has given the bank or it's employee the authority to make changes in the account holder's credential?I hope that i will be able to draw the kind attention of the concerned people for this type mischieveous activity of the private banks.Here it does not come to an end.As a result of which i have to incure alose of around Rs.2, 50, 000/- in today's market.Again for having the salary account with them, they offered me a personal loan at a subsidised rate.But after taking the loan, they failed to deduct the emi and then used to give a threatening calls in my mobile and even didn't bother to call at my residence number to frighten my aged parents.I lodged complaints several times to the Bank but failed to get any reply.Later i foreclose the loan and got rid of this type of criminal activities of the today's hastle banking service providers.In this context i must let you know, they even sent one local "Gunda" with an employee to threaten my mother at 11:15 pm at one night.Unfortuenately i was then sleeping after getting pain killers for my deadly disease chronic pancreatitis for which i am spending my numbered days.Therefore, i would like to request all the like minded people to start a battle against the criminal activities of these banks.

                        HDFC Bank Savings Account — Unjustifiable/informal Deductions

                        Hi,

                        I have a savings account running with HDFC Bank since May 2007 provided by my previous employer (Genpact).

                        Following are a few facilities provided by the bank for corporate salary accounts

                        1. Zero balance (no need to maintain AQB)
                        2. Free Check books
                        3. ATM

                        Those I availed from time to time. In Sep'2008 I left my previous organisation, however continued to use this account on regular basis as there is a (ICICI) personal loan payments being debited from this account.

                        In June'2009 suddenly bank put a hold fund on my account that I have dues unpaid for a HDFC personal loan. I have supporting mails with me to prove that this personal loan was settled. Due to that hold fund the icici personal laon EMI got bounced and both banks charged for bouncing. Even after my regular calls to HDFC bank they neither refund me those deduction nor I ever recieved any call from branch as suggested by telecaller.

                        Now for Last two quarters I have been charged with around one thousand ruppies for bouncing charges, AQB.

                        I have been calling their call centre and been confirmed by telecaller that a call has been fixed with branch for call back. however I have not recieved any call in last two months.

                        My grievance here is I have never been informed as to why this happened. Bank represantatives never give me call reference number. I am feeling like being robbed.

                        I would have had no issues if bank had informed me that beyond a certain date following charges would be applicable. However the way they have been playing is absolutely unprofessional and disgusting.

                        saving account — mismatch right procedure

                        We have a saving combined account no [protected] for name Sunil Kr. saini & Mrs shakha Saini in State bank of India Branch Budhana Muzaffarnagar , UP). now due to emplyment we stay in Roorkee (Ramnagar) Utterakhand so I applied check book & recieved in month March 2010, only in the name of Sunil Kumar Saini Printed on every check, first time in Month May 2010 I visite for withdrawal from check from branch Roorkee (Ramnagar Utterakhand) the check retained say no scan sign attached in core account. than I Visited for that in Budhna branch than they replied would be attached in 02 -3 days, again I try to withdrawal amount from check Roorkee (Ramnagar ) second time, & again retained check because signed attaced of Mrs Shakha in place of Sunil KR. Saini whenever on check bookname printed Sunil Kumar Saini.
                        Please stop my harssment & nerveousness.

                          This is my last option to let you know the ground reality faced by
                          the customer each and every day.I hope my words will be enough to draw
                          the picture in front of your screen.I have been a customer of HDFC Bank
                          since 2002 and became a corporate customer in March 2004 at the time when
                          TCS decided to launch IPO.As per my HR departments request, i opened a
                          salary account with HDFC Bank Ltd. Konnagar Branch.In the mean time i have
                          taken a loan with the facility of having salary accounty.But the at the
                          time of taking i was not having a cheque book of my salary account.So., i
                          have been forced to give the cheque of the other account and been
                          informed that everything would be sorted out.Prior to that i have applied
                          for the TCS IPO under ESOP scheme but didnot get it because of signature
                          change carried on by HDFC Bank without my concent and even did not bother
                          let me know the fact of signature changing.And as result of that, i lost
                          around Rs.100000/-.But i have requested the branch manager or the bank's
                          corporate salary manager but the did not bother to do any thing.But
                          history of harrasment does not get a full stop here.Recently i have
                          applied for a personal loan amonting Rs.1.5 Lakhs.I am descrining here
                          what are the documents, i have submitted for getting the loan.


                          1)Pan Card Photo Copy
                          2)Voter ID Card Photo Copy.
                          3)Passport and UK VIsa Photo Copy.
                          4)TCS Appointment Letter, Offer letter. Resignation Letter, and experience
                          certificate from TCS(all are photo copied)
                          5)CTS (Appointment letter and Experience letter)
                          6)IBM Appointment letter(As i have joined IBM on 16 th August, Salary has
                          not yet been credited to my account)

                          For my previous loan i failed to deposit the money to the account numered
                          :[protected] because i was operated on 1st of Srptember and i was kept
                          in ICCU for the next two days.and just 2 days back i have come back to my
                          house.With severe abdomain pain, i am writing this letter.But i still
                          apologises for the delay of pay ment but duriing my conversation with the
                          HDFC persons two peaople namely Mr.Anirban Datta and Mr.Debabrata sanyal
                          misbehaved with me a lot and without any clarification i have not been
                          granted the loan.The Konnagar branch Manager MrArnab Das has helped me a
                          lot but he too failed to understand the reason of declination.Even IBM HR
                          has mailed to Mr.Debabrata Sanyal and Mr.Anirban Datta to help me to grant
                          me the loan and even then also this people Mr.Datta has made such a
                          comment that if I quote that here even our company’s relationship will get
                          a jolt.

                          Therefore i, request you to take up the issue seriously and help me to get the loan on urgent basis as i require money for treatment.

                          Consequences : As a result of that my parents have become patient of hyper tension and i have become patient of High pressure and Blood Sugar.

                          That is why i am to you to support me for getting justice in terms of compensation.They have sent "Gunda"s to my house i have lodged FIR to the local police station. But they have not take any action.If you can bring out the two account openning form from HDFC you will be able to see that what i am telling, exactly the same thing has happem ed with me.They
                          have threatened me over phone even they do not have bothered to threaten my aged parents.Please do something for me.
                          I hope justice will prevail over irregularities and mis leading ethics.

                          Actually my ECS is supposed to clear on 5th of every month but this month it did not clear on 5th. and sufficient funds were there in my account and when it did clear on 6th due to some reason there was less funds available.

                          When i am calling the bank to re-clear the ECS no one is responding or the no is busy always.

                          I had applied for a personal loan in HDFC through a DSA in Delhi, DSA tole me that the only 500 rupees processing fess will be deduted against your loan disbursal i said OK but they charged more than 1500 rupees evenafter it was not a big problem.

                          Problem starts when they made my fake signatures on some insurance policy without my confirmation and the amoutn of that also deducted some 360 rupees again that was not a big problem but my only concern is that "why they made my signatures on any document i.e. illegal" and when i am asking for same they are not assisting me any more.

                          Now they made my fake signatures for a small matter but it can be a serious in any future requirements. Please help in the mattter as no support from HDFC bank.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I had applied for a Personal Loan which is a Pre-Approved Loan of 83000/-. I had submitted all the required documents to the Bank through an agent of the HDFC BANK PERSONAL LOAN DEPT, S.B. Road, PUNE, but my loan was rejected. the bank never bothered to call me and inform me the status of the loan process. i had to call them up and inquire about it. The representative named Shilpa Phulake was co-ordinating with me in the regards. I was told that after the documentation, within 3-4 working days the loan amount will be in my account. But even after 2 weeks i did not see that. Even the area sales manager Mr. Pushkar Thakur assured to me through another representative over the phone that the amount will be in my account by Wednesday evening[protected] but still i did not get it. i called up on Friday evening, had a word with a Supervisor at customer service named Riddhi who apologised and said that she will look into the matter and call me back. Till now i only got to know is that no status is reflecting in the system about my loan account or application.


                          The other day Riddhi called me and told me that she had spoke to Mr. Thakur and that they are checking upon it. On the other hand Shilpa Phulake who was co-ordinating with me says that my application was rejected my the concerned depaatment. When i enquired her for the reason she told me that i did not receive the calls they made me for the verification process, to which i strongly refused and said that it was impossible and i never received any call. She kept arguing with me and finally she said that she'll again submit my documents and post that in the same week i'll receive the amount as it is pre approved and that there will be no problem, but the submission will has to be done in the momnth of March again as Feb was about to end in 3 days. I agreed to it. I waited for it. Now again i called up to know the status to which she said that my loan application has been rejected again. i had called her up on her mobile phone. I was really surprised by her answer. i told her that even then no phone calls made to me by the bank and i had to again call back. She said she had calledme on friday but i disconnected her call. to which i agree completely. but she never bothered to call me back again on Friday later, Saturday, Monday nor on Tuesday. I had to call them up. This is the type of Customer Service i am experiencing form my own bank, the bank which i BANK with. I have a salaried account with HDFC. I wasloosing patience while speaking to her but i still maitainedmy calm and spoke politely to which she rudely disconnected the call and switched it off.


                          I had even emailed Mr. Thakur about the same too, but he never replied back to my mail. I even called him up but he never received my call, never picked up his phone.

                          KIndly do something regarding the customer service.

                          I had applied for credit card 1 year back when it was rejected I dont know what was the reason .Soon I got call from other other HDFC bank they said it can be possible if I reply again, but again it was rejected.
                          After 1 year again I got call from HDFC Bank, Senapati bapat Road branch from Deepali. who said this time there will be no problem but after 45 days i have not got any response from you people.

I had submitted all the required documents to the Bank through an agent (Sneha Joshi[protected] of the HDFC Bank Personal Loan Department. The internest rate is offered by Re-presentative is 16% but when i got a confirmation call from the HDFC Loan department they told me 22% interest rate. They have wasted my 4-5 days.

                          On 17 DEC 2011, i had completed all my pending docs submitted in DSA. Upto 25 dec 2011 no any verification from HDFC bank. so on 25th i called to that DSA (Mr.Sarfraz Nawaz) & ask about my loan feedback, there he has told me "My file is in under loan process and asked pan card clear copy... but the question is why he ask on 25 and why after my call only.??
                          anyway then i mailed clear pan copy same that day. but on 29 dec 2011 he return ask me the pan photo is not clear & want original pan card. but my self its a super clear copy (no need to ask - please check that copy attach with this mail ), i m surprises what the hell this working process of that DSA, But Then i also mail them my driving color copy on 29 dec 2011 where they can see my clear photo (ID) and resolve pending problem.
                          Now today is 4 jan 2012, and today they asking me both hard copy. Now i m shock, what was going on with my file whole 15 days completed and that DSA not yet logged my file, bec still there is no verification at my residence and office place. after this kind of irritated ness, i shouted on mr. sarfraz nawaz may be he is in-charge of your bank DSA, so he directly told me that he is going to reject my file and dont call again... now i ask you is this proper way to doing loan.???
                          Here i would to know why HDFC gives their DSA to like this stupid people (mr.Sarfraz Nawaz) whom not having proper training, working of how to do personal finance work. how can we trust on bank were they say personal loan in 48 hours. may be hdfc bank is not having well train sales coordinator, DSA. etc etc.

                          KINDLY GIVES BANK DSA TO PROPER PEOPLE WHOM PROPERLY HANDLE CLIENTS, AND KNOW THERE IMPOTENCY AND EMERGENCY OF LOAN.

                            HDFC credit card problems? I had an HDFC credit card. There were some charges levied on me for certain expenses which I was not informed about in certain cases & where the customer care people when contacted on phone gave me wrong information.

                            1) Currency conversion charges still not resolved (Rs1482.44) [2007.67* 3.5%]-595.50
                            2) Surcharge charged on fuel but never refunded. (Rs1500) paid for petrol
                            2) Card lost but the manager told me that he would not charge me extra for a new card. Later on I found new card issue fee charged. (Rs0)

                            My 2/09/07 statement showed an excess balance of Rs4, 971.76
                            1) On 15/09/07 I made an transaction of $50 (Rs 2007.67) & I was told by the customer care representative that I would be charged 3.5% as currency conversion fees which I agreed to as all credit cards charge this for currency conversion.

                            On 20/09/07 I received a refund of $15 (Rs 595.50) from the same seller with whom I had made the transaction as he had overcharged me.

                            On 15/09/07 I saw Rs81.47 reflecting on my statement which confused me. I called up the customer care cell of HDFC & they said it was finance charges.
                            That was when I really got mad as nobody could give me a proper explanation why the charges where levied on me. I contacted customer care on phone at least 25 times wrote emails & they insisted that they where finance charges.
                            On 30/09/07 there was cess- currency conversion fee .25
                            On 30/09/07 there was service tax currency conversion fee Rs8.48 in my 2/11/007 statement

                            As I had mentioned earlier I was only told about 3.5% currency conversion fees which I agreed to pay. I was not told anything about 12 % & 3%. for mutiple transactions.

                            Secondly I have not made any multiple tranasctions. It was a refund from the seller whom I had contacted only once for a refund which he immediately did so as he knew he was wrong.

                            Thirdly if you calculate 3.5 % of Rs2007.67 you get Rs 70.27 approx & they have charged me Rs81.47 which all the customer care rep where saying are finance charges & not currency conversion charges. If you cannot train the executives properly they should not be allowed to take calls

                            Please note that my 2/09/07, 2/10/07 & 2/11/07 statement s had an excess balance lying with HDFC from 28/08/07. I had also never received statements from the bank as I did not owe the bank anything. I had to call the customer care Dept regullary asking them to send my statements which they ignored.

                            2) On 16/11/07 & 21/11/07 I put petrol worth Rs 1000 & Rs500 & was charged Rs1025 & Rs512.50 (surcharge of Rs25 & Rs 12.50) Which was supposed to be reversed in my next statement which never happened

                            3) They reversed the charges of R112.36 levied on 7/11/07 fo issuing a new card to Rs 100 on 22/12/07 but still charged 12.36.
                            In my statement dated 2/01/08.

                            I have made other transactions during this period.
                            My 2/09/07 statement showed an excess balance of Rs4, 971.76.
                            Other transactions excluding these 3 issues are amounting to Rs2959
                            Disputes Rs 2982.44 (Currency, Petrol, new card)
                            Other expense+ Disputes=Rs 5941.44

                            Total less Excess = Rs 969.68 which I would have paid had there been no cheating, miscommunication, giving wrong information etc

                            I blocked the card & their customer care rep gave me the reference number.
                            I demand that they compensate me for harressment, mental torture and the amount of time they have made me waste on writing & sending emails for charges which where not told to me & then charged. The Finance charges, late fee charges & taxes are accumalting every month & yesterday I receive a call from their recovery agent to make the payment or else I would be issued an legal notice.

                            The latest outstanding according to them is Rs2357.99 for the statement dated 2/04/008
                            Total less Excess = Rs 969.68 which I would have paid had there been no cheating, miscommunication, giving wrong information etc

                            What do i do? The recovery agent has called me and is going to issue a legal notice.

                                I am having my savings account with your chembur branch. My SB Account no. is [protected].

                                On 31/03/2008, one of your representative Mr.Satish ([protected])had visited for having a facility of FD in my saving account. He told me, there will be no restriction & it will have a sweep-in facility.He took my signature & relevant details. He gave me receipt for the same - FD[protected].

                                On 08/04/08, my account showed a debit entry of Rs.25, 000 towards FD. I immediately called phone banking & checked about it. I was surprised when the executive told me that the account does not have a sweep-in facility. Again I called back Mr.Satish. He said, he will ask his senior to call me back. Ms.Madhu[protected]called me & told me, nothing to worry & the same will be sorted out within 2 days.

                                Today i.e. 11/04/08, when I checked with the phone banking executive, he told me, the amount is debited, but there is no update on my FD account. Also there is no sweep-in facility. Again I called Ms.Madhu. She put me to one Ms.Ranjit Kaur[protected]. She said it will be sorted out within 5 mts & someone will call me back. When nobody called me, I again called Ms.Ranjit Kaur & asked her to cancell the FD facility. She said it will done within one hour & the same will be reflected in my account. Till now i.e. 5.30pm, nothing has happened.

                                Now when I am calling all the numbers, no one is picking up. I am fed up by the treatment given to me. Today I am going out of town. If the same is not resolved by today then, I am seriously thinking of shifting my account to some other bank.

                                HDFC SAVING ACCOUNT — Fraudulent ATM withdrawal

                                Hi Sir/Madam,

                                I would like to bring to your notice that a fraudlent ATM widrawal has taken from my saving a/c with HDFC Bank.

                                I have lost all faith regarding the security and responsibility of the bank. I was assured by the bank representative that an action will be taken within two days however nothing has been done from their end.

                                  As all company have some collection counter you office is in Rajouri Garden J Block
                                  There is a girl Named Shweta what she has done is that she call at my office and use abuse language with receptionist Ritu and other staff that she is sending some gundas to my office and as well as in my house and I am receiving on daily basis she is also threatening my parents and wife and in my office it can become a HR Issue . I have told his seniors not to do that many times but she is repeating daily.

                                  I am ready to launch an FIR in the nearest police station in name of shweta and others who r handling my case and file against the bank with Human Rights

                                  Dear sir I am Sarvjeet Singh, working in a telecom company at Noida. This is to inform you that I am holding HDFC Credit Card from last 3 years and due to some financial reason I was unable to make my complete credit card dues but was paying due amount in installments and I had decided that I will finished all my pending in next few months.

                                  Few days back I got to know that my corporate salary account is blocked. I called in customer care then came to know that due to pending amount in credit card my salary account has been blocked. I went to Rajory Garden to settle down the case and the full payment but the people over there treated me badly and were not in mode to settle it down.

                                  Now I am going to deal this issue through the legal way as there are some personal priorities where I need my salary account functional.

                                  Please suggest what should I do now?

Same has happened with me. have been subjected to gross verbal abuse, breach of privacy and untolerable misbehviour by your employees Mr Jatin and Mr ram sitting at Rajouri Garden OFFice. your employees have not sent any statement neither email or anything for my bill and keep calling to pay the money.

                                  The height is today between 2 and 3, MR Jatin called up again and again 20 times shouting on phone, telling me not to use the card if i cant pay. He wants to send his employee tomorrow at his convenience and wnats me to wait for him. When i asked him to first send em the bill, he told me that there is some fault in their system and they are not sending any bill.s Later, he started misbehaving tellnig me to pay as and wehn they are saying and asking me questions like where am i going on SUnday and why I am leaving home early. IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. he further misbhaved and told me that he will complaint against my boss and further kept on demanding. KINDLY REGISTER IT AS EXTORTION CALL.

                                  he then DEMANDED AN EXPLANATION OF WHY I DONT PICK UP HDFC'S BANK CALLS. DESPITE MY REPEATEDLY TELLING HIM THAT I HAVENT RECEIVED ANY BILL, HE MISBEHAVED, USED RUDE LANGUAGE AND TOLD ME NOT TO USE HDFC CARD IF I DONT HAVE MONEY. PLESE CHEKC YOUR CALL RECORD, I told him clearly that i want to pay the full amount but send me the bill first but he KEPT ON MISBEHAVING ASKING ME PERSONAL QUESTIONS AND SHOUTING.

                                  I HAVE FILED A POLICE COMPLAINT AND I WILL ENSURE THAT THEY ARE DEALT WITH PROPERLY.

                                    The settlement letter is been issued through HDFC BANK on this card.
                                    I made all the dues cleared in regular monthly installments. At the time of last installment, I asked the HDFC bank executive (Mr Vikas Sharma from Rajori Garden Branch) to get me the full and final receipt and can collect the payment. But he told me that he can’t give me receipt for full and final payment, but all of your dues is been cleared and you will receive the letter by courier. He told me that he can write in receipt that this is final payment. On good faith I made the payment. But even after that again and again I am receiving calls that you amount is due and misbehave on phone by using vulgar language.

                                    You can check my account summary regarding dues.

                                    Now I have received a letter from some advocate regarding payment of Rs 34290.07

                                    I request you to please look into this matter and close this chapter as all the dues is been cleared from my side.

                                    Misbehave by the Collection Agent (lady)

                                    I am having a HDFC credit card for the past 1 year. I have been harrassed by the Collection Telecaller of HDFC Bank . I have been making my payments regularly except from July 2008. Since my financial position is tight I am making delayed payments to HDFC. I am also paying the interest rate and penalty fee for the delayed payments.

                                    The payment I had to make was 3000 and I informed the lady that I might not be able to make a payment today, but ya surely in next week and I am ready to pay the extra.

                                    And she is like "At any cost you have to give the cash. You better make the payment. We are the people who gave the money and so we have the right to get our money back"

                                    When asked for her name, she says " You want to complain to my manager? I dont care"

                                    I am surprised to hear that. Are the managers just for a namesake without any responsibilities. If so I am not surprised by the attitude and behavior of the employees under that manager.

                                    She shouted at me and is using filthy language on the call. She talks all nonsense. Gave the name as Sunita and she is calling from[protected]

                                    She is abusing in the phone. This disturbs me a lot and upsets and is spoiling my mood.

                                    I called up the customer care department and I hope they get back to me.

                                      I join hdfc bank bulandshahr D.M. road branch as a Contract Sales Executive .My joining date is 27/12/2010 and my Acquition Manager was Mr. Jeetan Sehrawat who transfer to Ghaziabad Indirapuram Branch, My Emp.Code is CP15476 and name is Praveen Kumar Saxena .
                                      I have not get my salary account detail from joining to till today and nobody halp me about this matter .Now I am hopeless and gatting suffer from my financial condition.

                                        Dear sir;
                                        I have been using the credit card No. [protected] of HDFC Bank for last many years. About three weeks back when I tried using the card I came to know that my card was invalidated. I contacted the customer care centre people in chandigarh they did not even give me any information as to why my card was temporarily invalidated and very rudely told me to drop an application to get it validated. I dropped the application on dt. 30th March08 in HDFC bank sec 8 Chd.
                                        Since I had not got any call from the credit card division of the bank I contacted the customer care centre again today and I was told that my card has been permanently invalidated without assiging any reason and it has been done without my written or verbal consent. Your records can show that I have always cleared the dues if any well in time.
                                        I would request that my card be revalidated or send me a new one.

                                        as iu have a credit card with your bank vide credit card no [protected] as i had been told that someone has misused my credit card and now bank will cancel this card and send yoy the new card but till date i didnot recd my credut card you are requested to kindly send me the credit card at the earliest or call me at this no [protected]
