I did a booking from Hotels.com on 5th March, 2013.
The hotel name is "The Mosser" and is situated in San Francisco, California, USA.
While doing the booking, amount got debited from my bank account for an unsuccessful
transaction for which I got the mails stating that the transaction was
unsuccessful.
The itinerary number for which I got the Transaction Unsuccessful mail are[protected] &[protected].
Thereafter, I have been following with the customer care service of Hotels.com for more than 2 months, but it seems they are not ready to refund back the amount.
During my long chats with the customer care multiple times lasting for more than an hour, they agreed that the mistake is on their side, but still they have not refunded the money.
They asked me for the bank statement as a proof and I have provided the same almost a month ago, still there is no response from their side.
It seems that Hotels.com have found a nice way to grab the customer's money, harass them, make money out of it in form of interest and finally keep the whole money without returning a single penny.
Thanks,
Swati
