I register my complain on 16/07/2008 http://www.indiapost.gov.in/ccc/PCStatus.aspx and complain no is .[protected] however no response till date!

I register my complain on 17th feb 2009 in http://www.indiapost.gov.in/ccc/PCStatus.aspx and complain no is .[protected]. Nalbari DO inform me that they forwarded the complain to Pune. However no response till date regarding delivery. please inform me the date and time of delivery as early as possible.

i have registered my complaint after suffering from past 10 years in a hope that after e-complaing the response will be quicker, but their is none.my complaint no is[protected].please giude me.

I had registered my complaint vide No.[protected] dt 14/09/2009, till there is no response fron the authorities concerned, the postal service is very worst shameful too, this act showing the irresponsibility of postal staff and department too. The department is utterly failed to provide services promptly to public, it is regetable.

its nothing, you should keep in mind that you are dealing with india post where there is no one ever held responsible for any lapse. i can give you many details where they have committed big blunders but no one cares. just tolerate and wait for their mercy if they respond

I have applied for NSC certificate transfer from Mumbai Borivli H.O to Chandigarh sector 47 post office on 21/04/2009. NSC certificate number is 49EE 324439 (Rs 10000) which has been matured on 30/04/2009.Still it is not transfered from Borivli post office. Now a days it is taking too much time for transfer. Same thing I have experienced about 02 months back also with same post office branch. Kindly look into the matter & do the needful.

i also applied for transfer of national savings certificate for Rs/ 40000 issue price from churchgate post office mumbai 400020 maturing on 22nd january 2009 through rajinder nagar post office new delhi 110060 in january 2009 and again sent a reminder on 22nd january 2010 but there is no response from churchgate post office mumbai 400020 even after 1year 3 months have already passed.rajinder nagar new delhi 110060 post office is unable to help as the nsc have to be verified by churchgate post office mumbai 400020. i had similar
situation from kandivali west mumbai post office a year back.
i am looking for appropriate authority to register my complaint.

I can not agree more with the callous attitide of the post offices here.

My daughter's PAN card (coupon no.[protected] was despatched from Mumbai on 22/12.08 under certificate of posting (UCP No.PO[protected].

I had been constantly enquiring with the HSR BDA Complex PO and the lady officer in charge kept on assuring that no such mail came from the PAN department. Finally, yesterday the PAN service office at Ulsoor, Bangalore prvided an updated print out of the status of that PAN card which was not even returned to the sender as there was no such record. I would imagine it was lost under the heap o[censored]ndelivered letters or just thrown on the road.

Such is the inefficiency and slack tracking system at the post offices in this modern IT capital of the country! With the tax submission date close at heel who is going to take the responsibility of providing the PAN card? The whole system needs to be changed and certainly the woman-in charge of that PO.
But then does the Management in this department willing to listen and take action, most importantly, is the management capable of any action?

Absolutely right this type of practice must be avoided by PO as whole. Because of their delay in delivery of the Final Doceuments of New Account of varies saings scheme opend by nay customer we have not proof of documents to present before them to handover the Books of scheme.

I agree. I bought a fragrance related item from US and in my case there was no tracking number, neverthless it never came to my home through post. They shipped it via DHL global priority mail. To test if i could get such items i bought a 2$ item and it was shipped correctly. I was under the impression that ofcourse the website is not a fraud one and also i should get the things i buy outside India and get it delivered via post. Next time i ordered 29$ product and it was ordered on 3rd Sep 2008 and another 2$ product on 7th Sep 2008 and so far I have never received it.

I understand that any product marked gift which comes to India via Air Parcel under 5000 RS/- should clear customs without any problems.

But in this case i have never recieved it.

I also bought something else from US website sometime back for 12$ and it never reached my home. I had to inform this to company who sold me the product and get the money back.

In India many government workers (Customs or postal service or cops, ministers, you name it, etc) are real [censored]s. If you strip their pants you will find an extra other than their real one and if you digg deep you will find the products worth other people's money hidden there.

Although this is trivial, no one can do anything about it. India SUCKS!!!

Sometimes, how i wish i was not an Indian citizen for India Raping its people.

PPf account irregularties
I had PPF account no.381with Sector 22 Post office Faridabad. On my request In July 2008 account was transferred to SBI Faridabad. GPO Faridabad had sent all relevant papers for transfer to SBI except the cheque of Rs.3248 of the outstanding in the account.
A photocopy of the cheque no.679125 dated 26.7.08; Seq. no.[protected] Pres Bank[protected] for Rs.3248 was obtained which was found to have been cleared by Head Post office Sonepat. Since then we are regularly following up with Post offices at Faridabad and Sonepat but with no clue.

I had sold a cellphone via ebay (www.ebay.com) to a gentlemen in Tamil Nadu. I tried to send the parcel to him but neither the india post office not any other courier service accepted the courier stating it as "Security" reasons. Now i had gone to an extent to write a declartion form and submit it to the courier service that was ready to take the parcel but not one person agreed on that. I have check the India Post website for restricted items and no where there is a mention of Cellphone/Mobile phone.
I ebay we dont have a liberty to select the buyer and hence i dont have that control. I am however disappointed by the fact that under the umbrella of "Security" companies have started harassing common man. Please help me get this sorted out

Very sorry to state, the on going current affairs of our Post office, the recent incdent happened with me is as under.
I sent one Registered Parcel to Lucknow on 30th july09, from Andheri (RS)Post office, vide no<.4000561> RP B 12, COUNTER NO.2, OP-CODE;20. I was told that this will reach within 3-4 days, where as, it reached on 7th Aug09.There were New clothes in the Parcel, like silk saris, Shirt & pent pieces, and jeans etc, and were sent on the occassion of RAKHI. It is very sad to say that when the Parcel was opened, It was filled with bogus material, and the new clothes were all taken away.
I think it is useless for any one to expect anything in the prevailing situation of the country. But by this I want to warn my friends, and people around, that they may not get trapped like me.

Registered parcel (RL9948) on my name was received on 22/03/2010, and my son was available at home. However the postman has not handed the parcel to my son and left a chit asking us to collect from the post office. When I went to the office after a weeks time, I was told that the parcel was sent back.
when I enquired about the name from where the parcel had come, I was told that we don't maintain such information. Now in such a situation now can I come to know as to who had sent. Further more, postman has not taken trouble to inform us or bring the parcel the second time before sending back.

I am Nainesh Patel, I am out of town at present and there was a registered post came in which passport of my daughter was there. Post men didn't delivered it to my wife, so next day my wife went to post office but the head of the post beheaved rudely with her and didn't provide any information for requirement to receive that registered post. Though i am not at home i want to receive that registere throug my wife. How can i do that?

If you are sure that the RP contained the passport and the postal department is not handing it over to you then it is illegal to retain the passport of a person by any authority other than the Passport Office or the Police in case of any criminal act. The post office can not retain the passport under any legit. You have the full right file an FIR at the police station of the jurisdiction of that post office as well as your residence where the passport was supposed to be delivered.
In case you have been orally asked by the postal person to pay some money to deliver the passport then do include this as an act of bribe taking by the postal department.
Good Luck in obtaining your passport which is legally yours now!

as was told by indian post personnel, a registered mail sent from any place in India hardly takes 15 days to reach Germany. As can be obviously understood from the complaint, its more than 24 days when the mail has not reached. For sure, this is a serious matter, as mail are very-very and very urgent. Its a visa issue of an Indian in a foreign country, and this unexpected postal delay can cause a serious legal issue and therefore problem to the person.

For instance i have applied for PAN and received information from Income Tax Department it was dispatched and from that onwards i went regularly to post office for checking my card, but he said there is no card received for me and the same answer given daily for one month. After that i went into the post office and i have checked personally and found it was there in his room. In the same situation for my company registration certificate also came in the registered post, it was also not delivered from one month. And recently one more incident happend i have to receive Import and Export code from Foreign Department in the speed post in this case i have checked regularly from last 30 days, the post man given the same answer but it came and returned to the Foreign Trade Office. And the foreign Trade people not giving by hand and they said it will take minimum 3-4 months to deliver again because they want to investigate the address through proper channel after that only they said will send again to me. It was unexplainable my situation present now i have received a one export order with due date of[protected]. so without this certificate of import and export code i am unable to export the same. We are facing this problem from past 6 months

Please pay special attention to the same as similar problems are faced by a lot of people and according to me strict action needs to be taken immediately.

Please pay special attention to the same as similar problems are faced by a lot of people and according to me strict action needs to be taken.

One document was sent to me by speed post on 27/01/09 and I received it on 03/02/09. The post office where it was posted just 40 km away from me and it is in the mid of the Guwahati city. The destination place is a very wellknown place called I.I.T. Guwahati where hundreds of mails come from different places everyday.
In the address the pin code ( Guwahati -39) and the name of IIT Guwahati was clearly written, but it went first to North Guwahati post office on 29/01/09, rested there for three days and finaly came to IIT Guwahati on 02/02/09. Indian speed post department charged Rs.52/- for it.
Hope the concern offcial will take this matter seriously so that one can rely on the service of the Speed post.

With hope that this complaint be looked into- I had despatched an application to Asst Secretary All India Engineering Entrance Exam CBSE Board Paharganj, New Delhi on 20 Dec 2008. I did not recieve the acknowledgment attached with the letter from that department. I handed over a written application on 11 Jan 2009 regarding the whereabouts of the regd Letter to Post Office Powai-400076. I have not received response from the PO . Subsequently I have Sent An online Complaint on your website the No generated is Complaint No[protected], however your website has not answered the query and the Status is as good as missing. Will this E Mail help? Partly this explains why the Business of Post Office has gone down and other mediums are scoring .What an irony? (Subsequently, when E mail was sent to kapanat @ indiapost as shown on the website the complaint bounced back stating that address does not exist- cheers to India Post)

I had send a speed post on 3rd -aug-2009 from SAKET- NEW DELHI to NTPC Gaziabad VIDUT NAGAR -DADRI BEING IN NCR ITS SHOULD REACH BY 5th, after tracking my speed post SP: ED[protected]IN it shows my parcel in NOIDA STATUS SHOWS IT'S BAGGED.

HOW MANY DAYS IT TAKES TO DILIVER IN NCR? WHAT A EMS SERVICE WE HAVE.

India Post — Late Delivery of Mail

I sent a mail through speed post to USA on 15th Oct 2009, during send when i enquired they said Rs. 150 for registered mail and it will take 15 to 20 days to reach, if i send it by speed post it will be sent to the destination in 4-5 days maximum, so i sent it through speed post they charged me Rs.470, but mail was went only on 30th Oct 2009. My Booking No. is ET[protected]IN. I need an explanation for this.

I had sent a speed post no.EL[protected]IN FROM COCHIN, on feb 12TH 2010 To Raipur but the post did not receive at the address .and how to know updates consignment The Raipur speed post didnt take the phone very irresponsible post office.post is very urgent .So please do something and search the post.my mobile no [protected].

These govt people are very useless, if you post a rakhi without stamp it will reach soon early as they will receive against it. the same thing happened with me this year i posted rakhi 15 days before it hasnt yet reached they are so careless. whether you write a letter to them or file a complain against them the matter will never be looked after. leave this . my uncle had sent a money order to my aged grandparents they didnt receive since 2 years. it is better you dont avail indian post service there are many other option available.

The Indian Postal System — Mail late or lost

Well thanks a bunch to the Indian Postal Service...
I had to express deliver my driving license back to the UK for a traffic offense that I was informed about after I arrived in India.
The staff in Fort Cochin were surly and after much inquiry I was told that I should send a registered delivery of my license and it should arrive in the UK in 10 working days.
Close to 4 weeks have passed and it has not arrived in the UK and I have had to plead with the authorities in the UK to extend the deadline of the return of my license in the meantime I have forked out 20 pounds on a replacement which will arrive at my home address in the UK in 2 weeks which means the total delay will approach 6 weeks!!!!!
SORT IT OUT INDIA!!!

SIR,
1.I HAVE BEEN WORKING IN ABOVE SAID HOSPITAL SINCE 22.09.2009 TO TILL DATE.I HAD BEEN APPLIED FOR PASSPORT ON 30.12.2008(WITH REFERENCE LETTER NO.V.I/402/5/2/2008 OF GOVT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS CPV DIVISION DATED 25.11.2008).

2.My application was accepted by cochin passport office given receipt after paying of 2, 500Rs fees. given file no WAS -D 010041. AFTER RECEIVING POLICE CLEARENCE THE PASSPORT DEPARTMENT ISSUED PASSPORT TO ABOVE MY POSTAL ADDRESS BY SPEED POST ON 26.02.2009(POSTAL ARTICLE : REG NO : S 34482).

3.THE POSTMAN CONCERND ABOVE AREA DID N'T DELIVERED above article IN ABOVE ADDRESS.HE DID N'T CONTACTED ME or hospital authority.Simply written on his report papper the doctor resigned from the hospital & left.Without sinature/initial/seal of the hospital authority.Then returned back the passport to passport office(for evidence you can verify).

3.Another REG POST ARTICLE NO 10646 sent by M C S div. mumbai on 12.01.2009 was also not delivered in my above address.

4.The above area postman abusing services & making troubles to consumers.Please take immediate legal action & disciplinary action.There by he don't repeat once again.Simultaneously immediately send above articles to my above address.
