International Registered post missing

Sir,
I am an Indian residing in USA. My father sent me a parcel from chennai for Diwali as this is my first Diwali after my wedding. He sent the parcel through registered post. Since it didn't reach me before the diwali, my father went to the post office to enquire about the parcel. They gave him a receipt No. to track. New gas connection

I'm a Deputy Director working under Ministry of Statistics &PI(Govt. of India), Delhi.Recently i've been transferred from Guwahati to Delhi.I'm residing in Modeltown-3, R-84, delhi-9 area. now I urgently need one new gas connection, for this purpose, I went to locally authorised Japneet Gas agency(INDANE-IOC) near chhatrasal stadium, model town -3, delhi-9.

Registered Parcel not delivered

Sir,
I had sent a registered parcel to New Jersey, USA, to my relative on 15th October, 2008. It is exactly 15 days today and there is no trail of it. I had been assured that it will be delivered within 10-12 days.
The slip given to me reads : fon-AIR-RP B 210B, Counter no.2, OP-Code:4, wt:870g.

Will it be returned to me, if its undelivered?

not reached parcel from usa to mangalore yet

Non deliveru of speed post consignment even after 96 hours

I have done a speed post from Lalbagh Post office Lucknow (226001)on 11.10.08 at 14:22 Hrs. This speed post was done on 11.10.08 and the speed post number is SP EU[protected]IN. Still after 96 hours this consignment is undelivered. I really fail to understand if this is the level of service of speed post then what will be the level of ordinary post....

Non Receipt of Speed Post article

My son from US has sent an article by speed post on 15th September, 2008, which has reached Chennai on 20th September, 2008 itself. But to my shock, the same has not reached me so far, as the Deptt. has taken already 24 days. They have not even bothered to contact me at my phone no. which was given in the article itself.

Delay in Transfer of NSC

I had submitted application for transfer of NSC to P.O Kendriya Vihar, WB 700052 for transfer of multiple NSC from P.O Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur - 713212 datd 12th October, 2006. As per SLA, the turaround Time is 15 working days. Now when I had submitted application for redemption of NSC on maturity the Post office refuses to accept the application on the grounds that the NSC were not transferred.

receipt of deposited amount is not given

i have opened a rd with shakurpur post office. the form given for deposit of amount has two parts one is for the post office and other is as recipt. but the practcice followed by the post office officers is that the receipt part is tore by them . after repeated requested they are not giving the receipt part.

i think that the matter should ba taken seriously and some solution must be provided for the errant officer of post...

non delivery of parcel

I won a bid on a e-bay item!The seller sent the parcel from Wisconsin, USA through the unites states postal service(USPS).It was sent as Priority Mail which in India is a registered parcel.The parcel was sent on 27th august 2008.The item had reached India on 3rd September2008. I got the information from the tracking number which was given to me by the seller (cm[protected]us).The same day it also cleared customs in India!
